Pros: Collection of the car and drop off of car was very simple and easy to complete.
Cons: Turning up at the Goldcar desk approximately 50ins early due to flight arriving sooner was told that I couldn't have a the car until 16:00 but could pay an extra €81 to take then, was a little bit disappointed by this service, so had to hang around the airport until 16:00

Pros: The team downstairs at the parking was extremely helpful.
Cons: The staff at the check-in desk are not really willing to provide services; moreover, they seem focused on completing the payment process and moving on quickly. They haven't had the car I booked (that's fine) but the similar one they offered, it hasn't had parking camera and wireless connectivity, the reason I booked the model I prefer. They weren't really interested to come into a constructive resolution, they offered a way more expensive solution with a extra cost of €30/day... Unprofessional.

Cons: Goldcar was completely understaffed for the number of bookings they’d taken on. An hour wait and a half hour drop off is unacceptable. The car was awful and definitely not an upgrade. Insurance is a scam, I’d booked my own for £10 but had to pay £130 as my card daily limit hadn’t been changed to cover the deposit - which conveniently is just over £1000. The fake added mark was the biggest let down, the car was so scratched and battered the report would look ridiculous.

Cons: I was in a line for 30 min just to drop off the Key that is a operation that takes 3 seconds! You have to be more effective in this process! We shouldnt need to talk to an agent for this.

Cons: Hidden charges. I felt like I had to pay the insurance cover which meant I was covered. But I’d understood that having money on my card would be cover. It appeared that if the car was scratched it would cost £350. This was not explained fully before.
Cons: didn't get paid warranty for the car after several attempts they wanted me to pay 140 euros instead of warranty and they said this you can't get it back when the car is delivered way take a taxi to laspalmas and late after dinner came back to try again finally got I paid for the car. They wanted a warranty, but didn't get a full refund and I'm still waiting for an answer.

Cons: When actually collecting the car we were told that there was no damage but when we went to retrieve the vehicle from the collection bay it was dented and scratched in various locations although the paperwork said there was no damage I had to wait for the representative in the parking lot to return to get the vehicle rechecked and video all the damage, The representative Pamela was exceptionally helpful but this process took about 50 mins, also I couldn’t fit both cases into the boot

Pros: The price was good and the car was fairly new meaning it was in good condition. The desk staff were friendly (eventually).
Cons: Not enough room to type this properly but no car for us even though we booked weeks ago, finally got a bigger car (didn’t seem to have one of these either). Sent to car park, waited ages and ages only for desk guy to appear saying car wasn’t being cleaned the keys had been locked in the office so we were waiting for nothing. Given vague directions miles across airport which took ages to find. We were not impressed.

Cons: No damages in the condition report upon collecting the car, but after going to the car park we found that the car had plenty of scratches and marks all around car, it was also very dirty inside (even found dog food on the back seat). Had to go back to the desk to ask for someone to come and make a new report.

Cons: As above - Hidden extras not explained at rental from the office. Contract in Spanish with no explanation of additional charges. Not offered to pay in euros despite stating I wished to and having an international bank card. Car had numerous faults including low tire pressure and low engine oil. Car was also not properly cleaned.

Then when dropped the car, no staff wanted to check the car or the fuel, so had an argument with them the girl and boy there, then complained to the office where the signed off the car documents!!

They should show the real paper to the customer before signing. They also put the papers inside their promotional brochure, so they never introduced those.
