Upon your arrival at Gran Canaria Airport, and once you have left the baggage claim area, please turn left in direction to the International Arrivals. Once you enter the Hall, please turn right and in a 5 meters distance you’ll see the meeting point next to the Spar Supermarket. A staff member from Gobycar will be waiting for you there. The bus runs every 5 to 10 minutes. In case of any incidence, please call 0034 828 124 450.

Pros: Car cleanliness

Cons: We returned the car back in good condition and keys and gas level were verified by the representative who collected the car and said all ok. The car was returned on 24th November. AS OF 3RD DECEMBER AND STILL WE HAVEN'T GOT OUR DEPOSIT THAT WAS TAKEN FROM OUR DEBIT CARD.Gobycar says that they returned the amount but how can this take that long when the Money was taken from bank account within hours when renting the car on 17th November. This doesn't sound right! I wouldn't recommend the GOBYCAR

Pros: nice employee when we picked up the car. nice driver.

Cons: employee was angry that we ordered a small car and said that Danes usually order cars for 30 euros per day employee was angry that we wanted to see proof that the deposit had been released. first time for us that a car was checked so thoroughly. luckily we had video of the car, otherwise we would have received a bill for damage we had not done.

Cons: Location of pick not easy to find unless using shuttle bus. Traffic can be a problem so allow lots of time. Unable to get car if you arrive early, you have to wait for pick up time Car while not dirty hadn't been washed or hoovered.

Pros: the car was new, bad experience on the car return, they charged us for a suspicious scratch that was so hard to see but we could easily feel the time of the damage if we had done it.

Cons: we had a third part insurance, we were extremely careful driving and parking the car, keeping the car in private car parks, on the day of the car delivery they didn't check it, they said that the car had no damages because it was new and we trusted them, on return the guy went straight to look under the car and found a scratch under the front bumper, he didn't look the rest of the car, we were removing our luggage and he didn't check for any other scratch and charged us $140, it's a scam.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 650.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 24.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
