Pros: (+)Right at the airport, car was new and had rear camera and connection to android maps. (-)The deal online is very cheap, I took the online premium insurance. But at the counter they try to sell you an upgrade, sell their own insurance and fear monger about the online premium insurance. If you take everything they offer, you end up paying 3 times more. Stand firm.

Cons: They made it feel they were no frills about the car review before handing it over to you, but as soon as you drive away you get an email with the car previous deflects and scratches. In my case, they only reported a minor scratch, but I stopped the car after leaving the airport at a well lit location and filmed the whole car, pointed to every scratch and sent them the video, saying I wouldn't take any liability for those. They didn't reply but I didn't have a problem when delivering the car back

Pros: There was an agent waiting for me to pick up the car and explained everything that I need to know.

Cons: I rented a child seat and they told me that I can choose one from their stock but all the chairs where really dirty and even disarmed, so I choose the only one that was OK but dirty.

Pros: We got it hard to find our car in the Avid parking garage and we had to go back into the terminal to get an agent to come out and help us.

Cons: We were not shown how to start the car. We had to go and ask a Hertz agent to help us. It was not clear where the select button to put in drive was. The Avis agent had just left us.

Cons: Key desk is the opposite end of the airport. To drop off the car on return, follow the Avis signs, then drive in circles for 20 minutes inside the underground car park, only to find that the drop of point is nowhere near the Avis drop off signs and is actually outside the airport!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 2000.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 99 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Cross-border policy
It is forbidden to cross country borders.
Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 1 hour after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
