Pros: I completed the rental paperwork in the airport, picked up and dropped off the car at the terminal. The offices were easy to find. The advisors were all very helpful and friendly.

Cons: It can be daunting having to pay a large deposit in addition to the rental and insurance. However this was explained to me at the start and also the deposit was returned to me one day after my return so I feel satisfied and would use Top Car and discovercars.com again.

Pros: Friendly staff and an all round good experience in Spain

Cons: Upon collecting the car, we noted that it had more damage than was documented on our contract. The employee instructed us to take photos and assured us that we did not need to worry about it. Although we were initially nervous about potential issues upon return—as we anticipated difficulties/disputes later on—we were pleased that our security deposit was refunded in full just three days after we returned the vehicle.

Avrei preferito che l'addetto prendesse nota dei problemi direttamente al ritiro dell'auto e non solo alla restituzione

Cons: Once i got the key no one checked the car with me. On the paper they marker a couple of damage spots. But once i see the car. There was more damage to see. The infant Seat I got was very poor. And took me time to get in reasonable in the car. I paid 90 euro’s for it. Which was definately not worth it. After driving of I noticed that the tank was only half full (I forgot to take a picture). The car I got had and alarm on the back tire that the pressure was low. I had to put in air 3 times.

Sharp practise by the personnel on the desk I will be sending an email to the company I booked with urging them to ask TopCar to make sure their desk staff not to ask customers to top up insurance when THEY CAN SEE customers already have it. It would be an example of Good Practise and show transparency that TopCar aren't scamming customers

Pros: The car was fantastic

Cons: The collection took 1&1/2 hours of queuing. I am disabled with mobility problems and there was no help, nowhere to sit. Strangers were keeping my place in the queue at times as I was shaking and almost crying with pain trying to wait. I felt very let down by this process and I ruined the first couple of days of my holiday while my pain receded on heavy medication.

Warning lights on the dashboard, when I informed the agent he said "yes there is an issue with the vehicle". Surely this should not be rented to a customer. Cons: I stupidly left my purse in the car of the rental and then flew home none the wiser. TopCar called me to inform me and when I organised a courier to collect my purse to return it to me helped me with all the details and handing it over to the courier. Above and beyond what I would expect I would 100% use them for all my rentals going forward

Cons: Car was dirty Car was damaged Car intially given had a worn clutch whucb kept slipping badly and smelled of burning When returned still made me fill up the tank - despite having to drive all the way back to the airport to swap it and drive back to hotel - no gesture of good will to apologise for the risk and inconvenience. I would like a gesture of good will

Cons: Car was not as advertised, boot did not fit 3-4 cases as advertised, no GPS system as advertised, and very low power on hills. Discussed this with TopCar staff who will address feedback with DiscoveryCars

Pros: The size of the car was not I was expecting. I booked Toyota Aygo or similar but received a Dacia Stepway which was considerably bigger.

Cons: There were more scratches dints and dents on every panel. Too much to record the condition of the car. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and did not take this up with the agent

Pros: The agents were professional and car was given promptly without any delay. We drove the car around for 6 days without any issues.

Cons: The car had a lot of scratches and dents when given to us. So aesthetically not too pleasing. The oil change alert kept popping up and there was no windscreen wiper fluid which was a bit irritating. we however didnt have any issues while the car around.

Cons: I was called disgusting when asked about car service when I saw the mileage of the car. The service was appalling however after another hour or so I had a car replace by the staff to Nissan
