Cons: The car wasn’t ready when we arrived and we had to wait a bit. But TopCar staff compensated us with a reduced fuel requirement on return, so not really a problem

Pros: Friendly team members. Queue at pick up. Clean car as described at booking.

Cons: Top Car took 700 euros from Credit card to cover excess, this is refunded on the return of the car but the Credit Card company has changed the rate and applied a transaction fee meaning customers are paying for nothing. They should just hold the excess deposit so that customers don’t lose and Credit card companies don’t win.

Pros: Fast, friendly and efficient, with no trying to sell me extra insurance.

Cons: The instructions for dropping the car weren't explained, but I probably should have asked.

Cons: Very slow service at the desk. I booked a vehicle lage enough for 6 people and 4 cases. The vehicle hadn't room for one case. Warning lights on the dashboard, when I informed the agent he said "yes there is an issue with the vehicle". Surely this should not be rented to a customer. I also paid for all insurances but was still charged more at the desk.

Cons: I stupidly left my purse in the car of the rental and then flew home none the wiser. TopCar called me to inform me and when I organised a courier to collect my purse to return it to me helped me with all the details and handing it over to the courier. Above and beyond what I would expect I would 100% use them for all my rentals going forward

Pros: Feel I received what I paid for. A Good reliable hire car, minimal fuss on collection and drop off

Cons: I didn’t like having to provide an £800 excess deposit, I’d have preferred a hold on a Credit card rather than having to put this money up front. I also didn’t receive that money back until 36hrs after drop off. I gave it instantly so should get it back the same.

Cons: Nobody was there when I arrived at the airport, if there is such a time matter, you should have given me some notification, I paid extra money to pick up my car at 1:00Am, but when I aarived there at 2:09Am( due to flight delay), nobody was there, however, my extra money I paid was deduced anyway.

Car sounded rough like their was something wrong with it. We had to reject the first car we were given as one of the reversing lights was not working. Petrol tank about 7/8 full when we picked up car, we were told to bring it back the same. Would have been easier if thank had been full and we could then bring back full.
