Pros: The service at the desk was friendly

Cons: we had to look at a number of cars before we found one in a fit state to drive, they were either bashed or really dirty inside. The one we took still had a number of scratches and bumps. We were also told that we would get recovery included when we booked through discovery cars and we paid more for this but this was not the case!!

Pros: Lollllllllllll

Cons: Hidden fees and the car given. I was told, after buying insurance online “you either need to pay 110 for insurance now, or 1200 for a waiver.” Very cool, thanks. Car was not even close to what I paid extra for - service rep said “yes…. Actually this is better” hahahahahahaah ok. Never ever booking from this miserable company again.

Pros: The drop off was very quick and efficient. But there were at that time not many cars in the return area.

Cons: No designated area for the pickup point by the shuttlebus at the airport. No que system so chaos when a bus arrived at everybody wanted to get on. Make a sign saying that here begins the que for the shuttle! Easy to find, understand and respect. Bad experience at the Palma airport at arrival.

Pros: Dropp off very efficient en quick. Nice and clean car. Airport shuttle was good. We got a nicer car then we booked.

Cons: It took a pretty long time picking up the car. We had some discussions about things that weren't right.

Pros: The car was brand new and very well equipped. The drop off was smooth, once I realized that the drop off is not in the same place as the pick up place. I scratched a bit the car and they were very professional about it, both evaluating and sharing the papers documenting everything.

Cons: The rental clerk aggressively tried to convince me to buy an extra insurance despite the fact that I highlighted clearly my already purchased insurance from Discovery Cars.

Pros: Airport pick up

Cons: The rental agent washaving difficulty taking card payments. In the end the agent took several payments from my credit card for which I later had to contact them for a refund. I spent over an hour at the collection depot with a family of 8 people with two young children. This was extremely frustrating to the start of my holiday.

Pros: dropoff

Cons: We were not informed about the fee that if we provided debit card only that there would be 80€ extra in case we had no credit card. This is a rip off. We also got a car that was not in the same category as we previously ordered - they probably thought that young girls do not understand cars and would not know the difference! Go to well-known places and not here. Save yourself trouble. We would never use their service again!

Pros: The price was comparable with other providers and the pick up was relatively efficient.

Cons: The insurance included in the package including 'theft cover' but when, on returning the car, it became clear that there had been an attempted break in, 'theft cover' did not cover the attempted theft. The attempt to resolve this has taken weeks with no resolution to date and a large bill for a small scratch and dent that were insured. Disappointing.

Pros: Appalling. Due to my flight cancelled and rescheduled for the following morning I was denied car collection and still charged full rate contrary to the terms and conditions which state that if the collection is cancelled. I never cancelled my car rental, I simply was unable to collect at the hour stated.

Cons: Everything. Rude customer service and non-negotiable.

Pros: Fast and efficient. Nice clean office, efficient staff.

Cons: Only minor disappointment was we were hoping for a convertible Fiat 500, which are great to drive. But ended up being given a Peugeot 108, which the roof only goes back across the top, not fully down at the back. Nowhere near as nice to drive either. But it was a new car, very clean and got us around.

Cons: This is SCAM and I can't believe, that this is happening in EU country. It must be like this: you come, you show your voucher, your driving licence and you get the keys. But not a half an hour or even more they are trying to increase the price etc. Child seat also must be already in the car and attached correctly. It is your job to do that.

Cons: Shuttle service was a disaster. Instructions for where to wait unclear. Called and asked where the shuttle would be, still unclear. When the shuttle did arrive, it was tiny everyone rushed over and filled up. This happened two more times, each time arriving in different location causing chaos. Eventually we just took a 15 euro taxi because we had already waited over 30 minutes and not made it inside the "complimentary shuttle".

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 850.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax, Express service.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
The following payment methods are accepted: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard debit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
Additional insurance (Full insurance) must be purchased if using the following payment method(s): Debit cards.
Credit card must be valid after rental period for at least 90 days.

American Express, Cash, Cheques, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
It is forbidden to cross country borders.
Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Optional extras and services

Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Underage additional drivers are also subject to a young driver fee.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

It is allowed to add up to 3 additional drivers.
Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 180 minutes.
