Pick-up instructions
We deliver rental car at the SSR International Airport at the arrival lounge. More precisely, you will find your name on a board and our staff will accompany you and hand over the car to you. You will have to check the vehicle properly together with our staff. All scratches shall be noted in the contract form and signed by both parties. Payment can be made in cash or by card. We have at least a staff all the time at the airport during flights hours. Shall you be having any difficulty at the border control or luggage pickup, please inform us through whatsapp or email.
Drop-off instructions
While arriving at the airport, you should park the vehicle in D parking, one of our staff will take over from there. Avoid parking the rental car in a blue parking or places that is not authorized, to avoid any ticket with the authority. One of our staffs is always at the airport to assist our customers. Any change in returning of car shall be notified at least 4 hours to us to make necessary arrangements. Any pending payment shall be made to our staff upon handing over of car.

Pros: Brilliant service, went above and beyond, car was perfect, well priced and handover smooth. Very nice guys running the place. On the way to the airport unfortunately both my young boys were sick in the car after stupidly taking a mountain pass, the guy couldn’t have been more gracious about dealing with it for me.

Pros: Ease of processing and communication.

Cons: Didn't get the car I reserved. I had reserved Kia picanto specifically because this car isn't available in my country and wanted to drive with new experience. I was delivered Suzuki s-presso, the same car I own in my home. I had chosen Kia picanto paying 1000 rs extra just for the new experience but was denied. I understand they say picanto and similar. And s-presso is a similar car of same price range.

Pros: The car was nice, clean and spacious. The representative was also very helpful and quite knowledgeable. The car eased our travel within Mauritius to a great extent.

Cons: The only point that should be clearly mentioned upfront on the Discovery Car portal is the potential cleaning charge. I was told an extra fee applies if the car isn’t clean inside, which feels a bit unfair after a week’s use. We weren’t charged, but it made us overly cautious throughout the trip

Pros: I had a great experience renting the car from Mauritius Car Rental. The car was of top notch quality, the delivery and drop off experience was top notch and I didn't have to wait at all. They went beyond and even dropped me off at the departure terminal after the car handover. Would highly recommend their service if you are in Mauritius and are looking for a hassle free service.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 500.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, booking voucher.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Wi-Fi.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery service is free for rentals longer than 7 days.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
