Morisoleil Car Rental at Mauritius Airport

Pros: The company representative was waiting for us both when landing and when for car hand over

Cons: They have tried to claim a scratch on car which was already on the car when we've picked up, luckily we had pictures; when asking representative where are his pictures, he just showed a paper. Also he tried to claim that car did not have full tank albeit we filled it full at gas station closeby, after a long debate he shacked the car and fuel tank was showing full, magic. I doubt this was first time, I totally dislike these attempt of ripping off money , wasting our time when hurry to plane

Cons: Felt the car body work had seen better days and car had very little power and bad suspension... but price was cheap...

Pros: Very helpfull agent. Met at the airport, clear and strait instructions. Fastest pickup speed, all documents were alrrady prepared and dont need to go to office, we went directly to the car. After dropoff agent event did drop us at the departure gates. Very helpful.

Cons: The car had just under a quarter of a tank of fuel so I had to leave it with the same amount which isn't easy when you are doing a lot of sightseeing and driving. I would have preferred to collect it with a full tank and leave it with a full tank.

Cons: My name was on card at the airport but no-one was holding it and there were no instructions on it. After 30mins waiting and everyone else finding their rental representatives I finally WhatsApp the number on the booking details. They responded quickly. I just wish they had told me that was the process upfront.

Cons: Would have loved to have the car which I had preferred (kia), instead I had a toyota. the car milage for very poor. Phone holder for navigation was poor quality. Phone kept falling down at every turn.

Cons: … that I had to pay 2000 MUR (£33) for the wheel cover ie A LOT. The ‘manager’ Riad told me that they had to import the part which is why it’s so expensive. I don’t trust that at all. We had a car garage near our hotel and when I walked past it, I saw wheel covers for 200 MUR and the high end ones were for 500 MUR. I would not recommend this company even to my worst enemy. They’re money hungry - they see that I’m a tourist and decide to overcharge me. This is a huge scam! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Cons: We had a very poor experience. Firstly, the wording is very sneaky as they offer you the car you want "or similar". So we arrived expecting a Suzuki Dzire, but received a Proton Saga (a brand we've never heard of). There was no working AC, no rear wipers, and it was overall a very outdated and worn down car (it had already done 80,000 miles). Secondly, the representative himself was late, very rude and was rushing us from the moment we arrived. He wouldn't answer our questions properly either.

Cons: As stated above, I think the value for money was poor for the car, when I was using the satnav roads were missing, it sent me down the wrong way on a one-way system in Curepipe. Totally outdated.

Pros: We ask a manual car and they give us an automatic, super! At the beginning we were a little bit strange because they have no office at the airport and a guy conduct us to a parking to give us the car. But everything was ok, including the drop off. Car new with 30.000 km.

Cons: RUN RUN RUN away from these shady, dishonest people as fast as you can! They are mafios and if you rent from them, you'll be sorry. I made my pick up time for the incorrect hour (totally my fault) and our flight was delayed which made us arrive after hours. The rep advised that they would meet us, but there would be an additional charge. Not a problem as it was us who was late. When speaking to the rep earlier in the day, we were advised cards accepted. All damage not indicated on agreement.

Cons: No representative when arrived. had to call unable to drop off car at time I had requested as office closes at 19.00 though an extension until 19.30 was offered.

Cons: I could not accept the car at pick-up. The car was old, in a bad state from outside, smelling humidity inside and the baby car seat was in a very bad state. It was for me not safe to drive in such a car with my family. I had then to find on the go another car with another car provider at the airport. It was of course more costly but at least I was safe in a clean car. I don’t recommend to book with Morisoleil Car Rental.

Cons: On arrival we had to ask another rental agent or help us find our agent and on the return the agent was 20 mins late. However the price probably reflected that. Similarly you could tell the car had almost 100,000km on the clock but it never let us down.
