Pros: Easy from start to finish, best car hire I have ever used.

Pros: The car I got had only 34K km, but the gear box was a mess. I low gear the was vibrating pretty hard.

Cons: NO RECEIPT GIVEN FOR MY DEPOSIT...THE GUY WHO RECEIVED / CHECHED RETURNED CAR, IGNORANT AND NO KNOWLEDGE OF GREEK LANGUAGE...

Pros: Everything was good but the initial contact and information from the office was not acceptable

Cons: I was told that the car was brand new and no marks . In fact, the car was a 2028 model and had scratches all the way around. The documentation was updated accordingly. After that, the car broke down the following morning which can happen to anyone. Within 25 minutes someone had turned up with a replacement car and we were quickly on our way. That is what you call outstanding service. Thank you.

Pros: Firstly, Avis, Budget and Payless are in the same booth, so I am not sure who gave the service but whoever gave the service was good

Cons: The only thing I can mention that the contract are given by Email and I think that if you are stopped by police, it is more convenient to have it printed, although I did not have any encounter with the police

Cons: We have received different car (I am aware of notice "or similar type"). It was in Japan language, connection to phone was VERY complicated to establish and was unstable.

Pros: First car Citroen C4 Cactus was 8 years old and quite honestly awful to drive...definitely been abused. Had to change it halfway through rental. 2nd car was an 8 year old Ford Focus...certainly better than the citroen but still not really what was expected. Felt very old and was a poverty spec model. Overall the cars were poor.

Cons: The car condition. The the car was terrible. He was constantly twitching and was very difficult to drive. In addition, it turned out that one of the headlights was faulty. I saw this only in the evening when it was necessary to turn on the light. I believed that these things had to be checked before giving the car to the client

Pros: I want to say the lovely gentleman who served me on both pick up and Drop off of the car at the AVIS was absolutely brilliant and should be highlighted to his senior management as a great representative of the brand. This was on the 16/6/25 at 0400.

Cons: I guess it was Payless so a budget rental. Car was old and not in the best shape but did not let us down. Did the job for our 7 night stay in Cyprus. Reason we booked Payless was cos it's associated with Avis.

Pros: Upgraded us to slightly bigger car.

Cons: We had full to full fuel policy. When we returned it the guy said the dial was below full and flippantly said we need to go fill it up more or else there would be a penalty. On getting to petrol station it only took less than €2 so I probably wasted that going and returning. When I told him that he did not apologise, I did not like his attitude, customer service. Maybe it was just him, can’t comment on other guys.
