Aercar at Larnaca Airport

Pros: It was quick to return.

Cons: they refused to accept a mastercard debit card even though it is clearly stated in the payment terms they want to sell me an insurance that cost more than the rental amount, they withdrew the entire deposit amount to refund it to me, it has cost me 20€ currency difference

Pros: Very easy to find. There was even lady at arrival from Aercar telling us where is the elevator. Useful tips for driving on the left side. Excellent people.

The second car which was a Subaru consumed so much petroleum it was ridiculous. I onlt got 6km on 1L On the highway. It was also very tired. 160 000 km. I understand the business model of importing low cost cars from Japan and then renting them out at 20% below competitors but it should not be "rent a wreck".

Pros: Shuttle bus, easy to find, nice employees, debit card accepted and options with no deposit, close to airport, easy pick-up and drop-off

Cons: The cars are a little bit old - it should be told earlier that it will be car from 2005-2010. On site was shown Toyota Aygo 2nd gen, and i was given a Toyota Passo 1st gen, so the equipement was a little bit outdated, no GPS screen, only Bluetooth.

Cons: they rented me the worst car on the lot. the car had some blockage or problem and could not accelerate and go uphill nicely. it couldn't go past 3000rpm and it was hard to overtake and drive uphill. Cons: There was nothing that I didn’t like.

Pros: I like the boys/men that work there they are so polite & kind with a face to face

Cons: It wasn't aercars that was the problem it was discoveries.com who i ordered & paid the car with ,, but didn't get what i ordered & paid for

Pros: Good car, clean, minimum dents and/or scratches. Return of deposit immediately upon car return.

Cons: They said the tank was full but it wasn't. I took a photo at pickup so I could prove it, but be careful and take photos of everything. I'm not saying it was intentional.

Pros: Friendly, quick, cheap

Cons: The security “deposit” wasn’t a deposit - they took €1,350 out of my account, causing a £35 transaction fee which made it more expensive, I should have been told it wasn’t a deposit

Pros: Shuttle bus was efficient

Pros: Fast service, helpful staff

Pros: Friendly, professional with new cars. Our SUV (Ford Kuga) was new and great to drive.

Cons: Variety of cars could improve.

Pros: Quick check in and friendly staff

Cons: Having to find the car mysrlf

Cons: I have a video with the mirror scratch but they tell me that I’ve done the scratch and are deducting from my deposit. They are scammers and thefts, you should sanction them

Pros: Service with a smile, means so much.

Pros: I never asked for a Diesel automatic but it is usually a much more expensive vehicle compared to a manual petrol car so thank you very much for the free upgrade :)

Cons: The fact that they pre-screen the car for dents etc, makes things fast at pickup but requires time on the renter's end to verify what they have put on the paperwork. Pros: Customer service was good.

Cons: Quality of car. Had to have it changed within 20 minutes. Bonnet catch was broken.

Pros: Was average.

Cons: Although I informed the AERCAR at pick up time that I had secured an accident insurance cover for the car, I felt they were very pushy and intimidating trying to sell their insurance cover of £80 for the same. They were categorical that if anything happens, they will not be involved with the insurance that I had taken and they will go ahead with retaining my £800 deposit and I can sort myself with the insurance at my own time and cost. I wish that this can be addressed with Discovery.

Pros: Agents are helpful. Prices are good.

Cons: Cars are old and in average condition.

Pros: What i wanted, i did get 100%

Cons: Non

Pros: Compared to the average shuttle service pickups, it was quick and efficient

Cons: The Toyota Corolla didn't look modern. I couldn't connect to Android Auto. The car constantly showed some maintenance error, which blocked the digital speedometer. FM radio range is not aligned to European standards, so many stations aren't accessible.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendly staff.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Cons: The car had a few more marks on the car than what the report had

Pros: Rapiditate si profesionalism

Cons: The car we got was of course a different brand than what was on the Discovercars offer, which we expected. The worst surprise was that we got a car whose entire vehicle menu, display, speedometer and radio were in Japanese (Chinese) characters. So we absolutely did not understand what the car wanted from us, the radio did not work at all and it was not possible to set it up because I do not understand Japanese characters. The same was true with the navigation. The agent at the Aercar rental comp

Cons: Perfect service

Pros: the car was in good condition

Cons: They forced me to take insurance even though I had bought full coverage from Discovery

It was not possible to connect my mobile phone to the car in any way (via cable, cigarette lighter, or Bluetooth). This made navigation during our trips quite difficult. I booked a car through Discover Cars and upgraded the insurance to full coverage. The representative insisted on explaining that the in

Cons: We had to pay double insurance and we more importantly we have booked a Toyota but they gave us a complexly different car, with higher consumption!

Pros: Easy going people my 5th time with them

Cons: The every time argument about insurance amount though it was easier and clearer with alex

Pros: Rached from Yemen was warm and friendly as he helped us at the end, paying back our deposit quickly and taking us back to the airport. Bravo.

Cons: The huge deposit and the many scratches already present on the car made us nervous.

Alexandros Dakik

Pros: they are well organized and quick.

Pros: Efficient arrival process. Car in much better condition than some rental vehicles we have had.

Cons: Car supplied with faulty wiper that meant we had to return (a 10 mile round trip) to get it fixed. Got funny with us at drop off saying car not full of petrol when we had only travelled 10 miles from the garage we had filled up at.

Pros: Price was okay.

Cons: We waited over 40 minutes at the airport. The consultant repeatedly assured us the pickup would arrive in ten minutes, but each “ten minutes” turned into a much longer wait. It was horrible.

Pros: Fast, clean, new cars

Pros: Straight forward.

Cons: Old car given.

Cons: No meeting room in airport. Nobody meets you and nobody explains where to go. It was not easy to find out that shuttle is coming to bus stop on the street.

Pros: very helpful agents

Cons: we understand the problem from another company, so all was good

Pros: Spoke great English, we took out extra insurance to cover us completely

Cons: Nothing

Cons: Pushing extra sales products not wanted and dismioof Discover cars policy. Car not that clean ,worn and engine needs service ,high mileage may mean engine straining. They gave car with piece of exteria fascia missing and missed off their papers of marks on car. Because of their attitude at collection took a very detailed video . On drop off they pointed out what they missed on our collection, only with video did they go quiet. Other couple before us had same issue with mirror and had to pay fee.

Pros: מכונית יחסית חדשה ומתוחזקת טוב מאוד

Cons: אין

Pros: Easy service, lovely people.

Pros: Szybka i pomocna obsługa

Cons: Had to wait for 30 minutes until the shuttle came to pick me up, other than that everything was perfect

Pros: Drop off location

Cons: It took 2 hours from arriving at Larnaca airport to driving the car away from pick up point. Had to phone for shuttle bus pick up at airport Collection of vehicle was really slow, only 1 person checking out the cars. I was given the key and told to find and video the car myself. Only 1 rear light was working. Had to wait ages for the 1 person at check in desk to come and replace bulb.

Pros: I didn’t like any thing about the service

Cons: The cover that opens the small fuel door was broken and the company knew about this defect before I take the car, but I was not informed about the defect when I received the car. Also the company manager in Dromolaxia was very unpleasant. I told here their was a defect in the car and that I want to replace it, but she refused and accepted another customer while I am talking to her. One of the worker started to shout at me and intervene in the conservation even though i didn’t talk to her,

Pros: Quick processing, not complicated.

Pros: The workers were quick and helpful, the car was in a good condition.

Pros: Perfect

Cons: Perfectly

Pros: Very polite and quick

Cons: Nothing great service

Pros: Good value for money when I eventually got the car. The car hire company AER was fantastic but poor info ahead of the hire by DiscoverCars was poor and led to issues. Disappointed.

I then had to pay €250 for a taxi to northern Cyprus as well as €200 whilst there to pay for transport as we did not have access to the car I hired. What could have been a fantastic trip has been overshadowed by this poor experience.

Pros: The representative on site was courteous and welcoming.

Cons: They didn't have modern cars with screens.

Pros: No comment

Cons: Poor response following a tire blow out on the motorway- I was made to pay €80 for damage to the tire??? Terrible customer service.

Pros: They brought a replacement car to my hotel to replace the first car which had an oil leak. The shuttle bus service from Larnaca airport to Aercar's site worked very well, a short journey with minimum waiting.

Pros: The fast pick up and drop speed and transportation from airport to car rental office

Cons: They convince me to make full insurance they said if i didnt make insurance they will take my deposit which is 800 euro + 70% more for any damage happen to the car including tyre burst. I got scared and i paid for full insurance later on when I tool the car I found there was a nail in the tyre and i took it to tyre shop and i fix it by my self. Also, the radio was not working!!

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The car was okay, the drop-off and return shuttle were excellent

Cons: I am writing to let you know how dissatisfied I am with the behavior of the shuttle driver who transported us from the terminal to your rental location. The driver was extremely rude, spoke to us in a humiliating and disrespectful manner, and treated us with a complete lack of professionalism. His conduct was unacceptable and offensive. Moreover, his behavior caused an unnecessary delay in the pickup process and negatively affected our overall experience with your company.
