Get Your Car at Larnaca Airport

Cons: Took time to pick car , long line . No WhatsApp communication

Pros: Kind and efficient

Pros: friendly and helpful, even gave some very good advice on a great day out to the north side!

Pros: Professional helpful staff

Pros: They used Sixt rent a car. Quality car. Nice and clean. Everything worked.

Cons: Unfortunately Sixt are extremely slow to refund my deposit. They say 5 working days. It’s been 17 working days so far. Still no deposit refund.

Pros: Friendly & helpful

Cons: First car was unacceptable

Cons: Sat nav not working. Some audio in japanese

Pros: The drop off guy was extremely helpful.he drove the rental car to the terminal drop-off because my mother needed wheel chair assistance.

Pros: Really quick picking the car up from inside the airport terminal, friendly service and explained very simply.

Pros: Price

Cons: Good service

Pros: Not a lot unfortunately - or more specifically Sixt who the car was actually rented by

Cons: Reserving a car and then not able to get that size THEN paying a lot more to get a car of similar size . Unacceptable

Pros: Speedy friendly and efficient

Pros: The gentleman was fantastic on the desk, I called him due to over 2 hour delay and set my concerns straight as was 1 hour later, he is a credit to Sixt and their company.

Cons: Nothing all was fantastic and best service I have ever had when collecting a car.

Pros: The friendliness of the agent when collecting the car.

Cons: The extra cost to drivers due to age!

Cons: Paying additional money for a product I've already paid for.

Pros: Ease of pick up and return

Cons: Nothing really

Pros: car in good condition

Cons: a bit slow for the pick up

Pros: The speed of getting the car, the price.

Cons: The condition of the car wasn’t the best- and there was one light (reverse light on the drivers side) in the back. Also $1000 for a deposit is a lot.

Pros: Fastness

Cons: Didn’t accept paper license . License was caducated , received the new one by mail while they send the new card . Was not accepted .

Pros: good service

Cons: good

Pros: Great fast service

Cons: Good service

Pros: Everything was completely hassle free.

Cons: N/A

Pros: An old, rattling car that felt ready for the scrapyard, rented at a price that absolutely did not reflect its condition. No explanation of its unusual gearbox, no parking sensors, and even the boot was not possible to open. At 2AM, I was too exhausted to demand a replacement. I barely used the car because I didn't feel comfortable driving it. Completely unacceptable value for money and a genuinely disappointing experience.

Cons: Absolutely nothing to like. Perhaps if the rental had cost a third of what I actually paid, I could have accepted the experience for what it was. Unfortunately, I paid full price for something that wasn't remotely worth it.

Cons: I was asked to pay an additional €25 upon picking up the car due to dropping it off at a different location. This was my original reservation, and if there are extra fees for returning the rented vehicle to a different location than the pickup point, I assumed they were already included in the total price.

Cons: Sixt charged me for a full tank of gas, even though the gauge was at “F.” They then entered a level slightly below “F” in the report, but didn't tell me anything—quite the opposite. Everything's fine. Have a good flight.

Pros: Car was very old passenger front window did not come down. You had to do it from driver side. Light on dashboard for tires kept coming on and having to check it but there was nothing wrong with the tire. Also seatbelt on the driver side doesn’t work properly. Also Window wiper and back Window very worn out.

Cons: The cars need to be better inspected seatbelt warning lights, window wipers, et cetera needs to be inspected

Pros: All went well, with no issues

Pros: Easy pick up and drop off

Cons: Nothing

Pros: It's actually Sixt, as you know. Sixt provides good service generally in LCA.

Cons: Agent tried to persuade me to pay for a "better" car. Insinuated that the car I was getting is problematic. As I know the Sixt branch in LCA very well, I didn't take his word for it, and sure enough the car was perfect. This is unnecessary - I know what I ordered.

Pros: 100% professional staff.

Pros: An exceptionally smooth experience from start to finish. Both the pickup and drop-off processes were remarkably fast and hassle-free. Highly recommend this company for their efficiency and great customer service!

Cons: Tires required balancing for a safer, smoother drive. Non-OEM floor mats and windshield wipers fit poorly and degraded the quality of the ride.

Pros: I had a automatic hybrid really good car

Cons: Service was quick

Pros: The person in the pick up

Pros: Nothing ! My booking as with Sixt as the car provider… they had many nice car (newish and clean) but they gave me an old 50k miles car

Cons: Quality of end car - Sixt rep said as I didn’t book direct I have been assigned this older car

Pros: Nothing else to add

Cons: Poor quality car, registered in March 2019, the condition of the looked like it been used for rally driving, it smelled like someone had been sick in the car.

Pros: Easy to find in airport , collection not too long

Cons: It wasn't get your car but the sixt employee who told me that because I'd booked get your car we don't get a new car and that the car will be up to 15 yrs old , whereas my son had a different employee and got a free upgrade to a month old car

Pros: Sixt customer service is always excellent

Cons: There is always scope for price reduction.

Cons: It’s very unclear which car models/years/condition you would get. I ordered a Citroen C3 (2026 model according to the image), but was originally given an old Honda Jazz with no CarPlay. That’s why I had to spend more money and upgrade at the station, something that could’ve been prevented if I knew what I was going to get

Pros: All being prompt

Pros: Quick and easy

Cons: Nothing of note

Pros: Easy to use main web site for booking.

Cons: Was confusion on what type of cover we had purchased with yourselves and with what the rental car said it covered! Miss leading so had to increase cover to ensure all was good

Pros: Nice big car way to drive.

Cons: Air conditioner was poor and not that cold. We really needed it as it was 35-42 degrees during our trip

Pros: The person who helped during pick-up was very nice and I had the best pickup experience that I've ever had from car rentals

Cons: nothing

Pros: Noting actually horrible services

Cons: They make you sign on a small handheld device which you cannot see what you are signing for and up sales services. They charged me for upgrade from Toyota but I got smaller and old Kia with Damages that now they are trying to charge me for it. They charged fee for gas upfront but I returned a car with full gas and no refund.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff

Pros: The kindness of the agents, the rapidity of the service

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Second car was really good. Toyota Yaris Hybrid

Cons: First car was bad with technical.and security issues. Sixt team managed it efficiently. Well.done

Pros: It was all good apart from the attempt to upsell aggressively.

Cons: The agent tried to upsell absolutely everything. It was a hard sell and he said quite a few things that we found out were untrue in order to persuade us. It wasn't a pleasant experience

Pros: Quick, easy and friendly staff.

Pros: Quick and easy pick up drop off

Pros: Easy to use

Cons: collection tries to upsell when you just want to pick up and go

Pros: uncomplicated and fast

Pros: It actually was under the "Sixt" agency so I can't refer to "Get Your Car"

Cons: It actually was under the "Sixt" agency so I can't refer to "Get Your Car"

Pros: Excellent service

Pros: Attentive, canceling the issue and booking another vehicle worked like a charm.

Cons: The insurance issue is excellent, there is no deductible cancellation, and the limit is taken even a few days after returning the vehicle.

Pros: All good

Cons: Some form of auto check in would be helpful . Trying to sell add on insurance

Cons: Car not fully checked, tyres under inflated and inside windscreen very smeared, wipers covered in muck so didn't function fully until I cleaned them.

Cons: None

Pros: Sixt Cyprus and Get your car is under same owner in Cyprus hence it's credible company

Cons: All great

Pros: Cheap upgrade

Pros: Friendly & efficient

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Always smiling faces

Cons: I was told i had to pre pay for the fuel, as a very cheap price, the car was full and i would just bring it back empty, however they charged €75 euros for a 1.0l Skoda that only takes about €60 euros for a full tank. So go ripped off there. I also returned the car with 1/4 tank as its not that easy to return a car empty unless you plan perfectly. Which they obviously know. So refuse their con, and just fill up the car yourself.

Pros: Easy booking and to find in Larnaca Airport. Very helpful staff. Good car.

Pros: Thr price was good and there were no issues accepting the car back, no hidden charges, no push for upgrades.

Cons: It took over 40 min waiting in line at Sixt (shared with GetYourCar) to get the car. Pros: So simple to use

Cons: Nothing

Cons: The deposit of 1000 euros at pick up is very high.

Pros: Quick and easy.

Pros: It was not get your car eventually but Sixt.

Cons: Very bad last day. 4 hours before I returned the car, they sent me photos of a damaged car with my plates and my name with a wrong signature!! Not mine! I spent time to phone the and ask and explain but they told me don't bother it was a mistake. They were trying to convince me that they show the history of the car (with the damages) and I had to accept that. I asked for a manager but they told me Noone was on duty! Very unprofessional behavior- and one guy was saying "We are the No.1 company!!!

Pros: They found my kid power bank in the cár and called me up I think it’s very nice

Pros: Very easy and fast dropoff

Cons: The agent at check in was very pushy and aggressive. It was very hard after long flight to refuse to his numerous attempts to upsell card after we clearly stated we don't want or need to.

Pros: Customer service

Pros: Perfect service !

Pros: I have been renting from them regularly for 3 years and they are absolutely professional, friendly and wonderful in every way.

Pros: Everything was perfect

Pros: Everything was smooth and for a good price.

Cons: The car had a few scratches and could have been cleaner, but I'm just being picky.

Cons: The brakes of the car wasn't good enough and noisy

Cons: arrived at 7 am. only 1 employee and 6-7 customers in line. took me more then 30 minutes to get to her

Pros: nothing the manger was very rude

Cons: Staff we rude and not helpful

Pros: the people working there

Cons: had a very small poster of the location of the conmpany in the airport confusing me where it is

Pros: Unfortunately nothing

Cons: Terrible experience. We got a very, very old, terrible car from 1990 arround, far away of what was offered and expected. Impossible to visit Cyprus with this car 😕 Getyourcar is a daughter company of Sixt. So the scam is to give you a car impossible to accept and sixt will sell you an expensive update. The people was very rude and famliar to play this game. Hard to understand that discovercars keeps selling this cars by knowing about this scam. Very unpleasent experience.

Pros: Brakes seemed very worn due a scraping noise every time I used them

Cons: Was sold the return empty package in the knowledge I would use very little fuel by the agent. The car smelled strongly of cigarettes.

Pros: Website all very clear and easy to use. Also easy to make amendments where necessary. I find that Car rental companies they work with do not appear to look to deliberately rip you off

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff at Larnaca airport

Cons: Initially went to the desk 40 minutes early and after queuing they wouldn't serve us and asked us to wait to closer to the time. Came back later and an even longer queue and then had to wait to be seen. Queue was badly managed with people pushing in to the queue out of turn. But 3 people working the desk who were very friendly and helpful, so the bad queue experience was soon forgotten.

Pros: Absolutely no issues with both rentals in Cyprus of 27 and 29 days duration. Cars were clean and no issues with GetYourCar (Sixt) which is onsite at airport in Larnaca. Process with picking up and returning car were pleasant. No surprises when returning car either.

Pros: Speed of service and simplicity.

Cons: First car had a fault so had to be exchanged.

Pros: Professionalism.

Cons: -

Pros: car is auful, i do not understand why they get car like this as it is very cheap car they charge for rental a lot of money

Pros: Well located. Had a car for me

Cons: The desk staff were rude and unhelpful and seemed irritated when I asked a couple of questions. All a bit rude. The car itself was rubbish

Pros: They were quick & explained things well

Pros: Fast pick up and drop off. Since it wasn't the first time with Get Your Car ( Sixt), my personal informations were already in their system, thus the whole process was even easier.

Cons: Car's condition could have been a bit better.

Pros: Service and the car was perfect.

Cons: Agent on the Sixt counter was a little bit too insistent and wanted to sell us everything, that we understand and it wasn’t a problem. The thing is that he was selling us the full tank and the upgrade with the prices without taxes, which is not acceptable. I am going to make an official complaint.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Very pushy and forced sale agent. The vehicle we purchased was supposed to be with automatic transmission and we got semi automatic vehicle. The vehicle was very old and barely was able to move. We paid a lot for a horrible experience including very long wait ln pick up and the worst agent and car we ever got.

Cons: The car had quite obviously been smoked in by the previous rental. It should have been taken out of service and valeted before it was used again with the previous rental charged for this. The light on the driver console fell out every time the car went over a bump. The service light came on mid way through the rental period.

Pros: Very helpful staff, prompt and polite.

Pros: Agent Chris was so helpful at the Sixt desk. Explained things well made it straight forward.

Cons: They did not send photos of the existing damages to the car to my email as they said when I picked up the car.

Pros: It is really a Sixt dealer and they are fine.

Cons: no issues here.

Pros: Fast pick uo and drop off, clean car with good air conditioning (we upgraded after the agents suggestion)

Cons: The car insurance wasn't very complete

Pros: Staff were super...friendly, no up-selling and quick to answer questions.

Cons: It wasn't clear, in arrival to Larnaca Airport that Discovercars is in the Sixthcar rental booth! Once we discovered this...all went well. My impression is that Discovercars.com is a subsidiary of Sixt cars. If you want a newer car and happy to pay for it...go with Sixt (same people/same parking lot). If you're OK with a 50k mileage, older car then go with Discovercars.com.

Pros: Friendly and helpful

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Everything was as it should have been. Smooth and easy

Pros: Fast return of the car. Friendly staff

Cons: Very slow pick up of the car- also they parked it in a dark spot where it is imposible to get a good look at it before leasing.

Cons: Had a flat tyre on motorway No signal to call for help Tyre replaced for €60 Would not return money

Pros: Everyone was very helpful. The car was not the greatest and it made a terrible noise on starting it up so I didn't drive it much on my stay.

Cons: The agent was very rude because we declined to pay for a more expensive car. Also, they charged us the additional driver when my DiscoverCars voucher says I have an additional driver at 0eur cost. Also, the car had a sort of android tablet integrated as a screen, which barely work. Also the rear camera was manually and poorly installed. Not really a good deal for the price we paid.

Pros: So easy

Pros: Literally nothing

Cons: Everything

Cons: The car offered was of a lower group than that booked and was in absolutely awful condition. It was battered and stank. It was 1am and I had my family and young children in tow so didn't have the energy to argue with the Sixt agent at Larnaca airport but will add this is the second time they have pulled the bait and switch scam with me. It seems whatever group car you book they give you the smallest oldest and dirtiest car they have. I booked a Corsa and got a Kia picanto.

Pros: Everthing

Pros: Fast, simple, problem free.

Pros: Great car & service. Sixt were the rental company. Be aware of added extra's like breakdown cover €45, €150 fuel cover & peace of mind full damage insurance. Also upgraded but think i paid for that.

Pros: Service was very good from online booking agent. Extremely helpful and kept in touch all the way through with the additional requirements. Couldn’t do enough for me. A credit to Discover Cars

Cons: Unfortunately the car was in very poor condition. Electric windows never worked. Engine was severely lacking and clearly hadn’t been serviced in a very long time. The most basic and poorly equipped model they could find. Full of scratches and scrapes which I had to take pictures of as nothing logged on handover sheet

Pros: the agent at the airport that proceeded the paper work was helpful

Cons: The first car that we reserved did not have the isofix hook on the car therefore we could not have used it with the carseat, and then forced to upgrade and pay more for another car

Pros: All very quick on pick up and drop off

Pros: will never use it again but will be taking this further.

Cons: i have been cheated on returning the car when I was told all is fine and then get an email with photos of damage which were present before and I have proof. Dishonest and unprofessional. The attendant got me to sign a blank screen after saying all is fine. I will make my feelings known further if they persue charges so that others do not go through my experience.

Pros: Will definitely use again

Cons: The pick up was very slow one agent at airport and long queue x

Pros: Great tratment, very fast pick up and drop off, good car and condition, good value for money

Pros: Nothing m

Cons: Flew to Cyprus excited for an excellent week ahead. Go to pick up the car and realised I’d left my driving license at home (my own silly fault) the agent (a British man with dark hair didn’t catch his name) was the most unhelpful human being I have ever encountered in my life. He put my details into the system and could see id paid in advance for the car and my licence was on the voucher that I provided him. He just looked at me blankly and said not a lot i can do and shooed me away. Just awful.

Pros: Easy and everything explained clearly

Pros: would have been a 10 , but had to change the car due to cigarette lighter not working , but replacement vehivle was quickly swapped .

Pros: First of all the car compant was Sixt, then I had to pay additional insurance even if I was fully covered according to my initial payment. This was the worst experience ever in car rental. After the office and paper, it took over 1 hour to get the car, and they couldnt find the right car, I had a contract with 1 lic plate, I got a different car with another lic plate, and they even call me during vacation to check which car I had?!?!?

Cons: Super bad, not even sure where to begin? Disaster you could call everything at the Sixt office. Why do you even call it "get your car"?
