Cons: I was told i had to pre pay for the fuel, as a very cheap price, the car was full and i would just bring it back empty, however they charged €75 euros for a 1.0l Skoda that only takes about €60 euros for a full tank. So go ripped off there. I also returned the car with 1/4 tank as its not that easy to return a car empty unless you plan perfectly. Which they obviously know. So refuse their con, and just fill up the car yourself.

The agents were extremely overwhelmed, there were people yelling and initially pur agent also came off rude but then calmed a bit after saw we didn't have any demands or issues, just wanted to pick up what we reserved

Cons: Initially went to the desk 40 minutes early and after queuing they wouldn't serve us and asked us to wait to closer to the time. Came back later and an even longer queue and then had to wait to be seen. Queue was badly managed with people pushing in to the queue out of turn. But 3 people working the desk who were very friendly and helpful, so the bad queue experience was soon forgotten.

Pros: Absolutely no issues with both rentals in Cyprus of 27 and 29 days duration. Cars were clean and no issues with GetYourCar (Sixt) which is onsite at airport in Larnaca. Process with picking up and returning car were pleasant. No surprises when returning car either.

My impression is that Discovercars.com is a subsidiary of Sixt cars. If you want a newer car and happy to pay for it...go with Sixt (same people/same parking lot). If you're OK with a 50k mileage, older car then go with Discovercars.com.

Go to pick up the car and realised I’d left my driving license at home (my own silly fault) the agent (a British man with dark hair didn’t catch his name) was the most unhelpful human being I have ever encountered in my life. He put my details into the system and could see id paid in advance for the car and my licence was on the voucher that I provided him. He just looked at me blankly and said not a lot i can do and shooed me away. Just awful.

Pros: The ease of finding the desk.

Cons: It was rushed, the car wasn't properly inspected with us, we didn't receive an email upon pick-up. Upon drop-off, the representative said everything was fine and the charge would be removed, but it wasn't. The report had a photo of damage, which was not shown to us at the time and then they subsequently charged us 1000 Euros.

Cons: You didn't answer my questions after i booked the car about the child seat and i had to pay more money for it. i booked an automatic car but when i went to get it they said you guys booked a regular one and i had to pay more money

Cons: Description of which desk to go to could be better. Just saying go to Sixt desk would have been big help. Warning light came on. Allegedly tyre pressure but checekd that and all were fine. Took a while to get through when I called about this.

Pros: Car was terrible. Clutch and gearbox were worn out. Unable to engage reverse without crunching gears. Cushioning on seats had virtually collapsed. Passage was almost sitting on the floor. The car broke down and needed a new battery. Very disappointed indeed.

Cons: Communication was poor. There is no kiosk for discovercars.com. It was actually ‘getyourcar’ at the ‘Sixth’ desk. It took us 40mins and lots of walking around the airport grounds to find this out. There is a very small sign at the ‘sixth’ desk for ‘getyourcar’. The guy on the Sixth desk had a bad attitude. We did not receive a car for our trip.

Cons: Rental agents pushing upgrades and excess insurance

Cons: I ordered a Ford Focus and got a Nissan Note, a much smaller car! The rental company did not agree to give a focus and claimed that it was the same category. If I had known this in advance I would have ordered a Nissan Note which also costs less money.

Cons: They couldn't find car when we went to pick up, took bout 15 mins

I travel frequently and will make sure never to use your company again. I will also make sure to let everyone I know (and like I said, I travel a lot so I know many other people who travel as well), that your company does not care one iota about the customer.
