Pros: Extremely helpful and friendly staff, fast pickup and drop off

Pros: The car was 10 years old and covered 90000 miles but very well presented. A tyre issue developed with the first car that was replaced with another similar car. No fuss or quibbles. Excellent service. Great value for money.

Cons: The pick up was difficult, they got my landing hour wrong and the meeting point was not clear. They expected you to call them when you arrive but it was not written as a requirement so I did not know. Returning the car took 45 minutes since there was only one representative working with plenty of people either renting or returning. The car key battery was low and we sometimes had problems starting the car.

Pros: Convenience and ease of mind, not the first time we rent a car from Autorent Cyprus through Discovercars, and we are always happy to do so. Definitely recommend it. Friendly and helpful through the whole process, always there to give you a hand when you need it and make your stay and trip easy.

Cons: There was only one problem when picking up, there was nobody there at the decided time and when I got through to them they said they were waiting for me to supply my plane arrival time. There was no mention of this on the booking page but the agreed time was made. They did apologise and it was sorted in the end.

Cons: The car needs proper maintenance. On Sunday it didn’t start. The usual outsource repair man only works part time on Sunday. The call center, according to what he said, reached out to his boss to get a solution. 2 hours later, no call, nothing happened. One of the windows cannot be closed as well. We fixed both issues with the help of one of our neighbours.

Cons: They made a mistake in taking the deposit and it took me an hour and a call to my bank to sort it out. Luckily it was midday and a weekday.

Pros: Our first car broke down and had the engine warning light on from the start. We broke down in a petrol station close by to the pick up and they came with a new car in half an hour. They didn’t charge for the petrol used in the first car. The second car was the same make and model but was fine.

Cons: Baby car seat wasn’t amazing, they should get some new ones and understand which ones are suitable for different ages and sizes.

Cons: We waited for an hour for pickup, and the agency does not answer their phone. The pickup vehicle is not marked in any way and the pickup spot is not the same as other rental companies and also not marked. When asking why the agency didn’t show up to get us on the agreed time, the response was simply that they were busy with other customers.

Cons: Cars although need to be fully checked before they’re hired out as my car had a few faults ie windscreen washer bottle had a leak and water would be completely empty after about 45 mins, no aerial so radio was not effective, passenger electric window not working properly as switch on passenger side would only put window down and not up.

Pros: The drop off time was really quick without problems and tries of fool us. They accept to return us an amount of money because we decided not to use the baby car sit finally. The agents on the phone for this situation were helpful enough.

Furthermore, we reserved a car sit but the only one they had available was in really bad condition so we decided it was more safe for the baby not to use it. It was also to dirty... Additionally, about this case, the agents show that they didn't have the intention to help us apply it. The tires of the car were also in bad condition and the car too old...

The car also did not have a mobile friendly stereo, meaning that without an aux cable and adapter to plug into current smartphones which do not have aux ports there was no way to play music from a mobile phone through the vehicle speakers. There was also no screen for navigation. These are nice to have but relatively standard from any rental place even for the cheapest options.

Cons: Alberto, who drives me to airports, is a perfect example of a Greek gentleman. All of the staff is really helpful and kind. I visited over 50 countries but never found services as good as AutoRent.

Air con didn't work, clutch was slipping, seat belts didn't recoil back in place, no parcel shelf, significantly older car, passenger tyre kept losing air with warning light.

The original rep was there and said it was ok, she wasn't happy about this, then she said I owed €37 Euros left to pay, I got my paperwork out and said I don't think so, the original rep said she was looking at another invoice, and I owed nothing, I feel she was out to make a few euros out of me,

I will uoad my concerns to both facebook sites for visiting cyprus and ex forces cyprus/uk as they need to be made aware of this practice.

Pros: Not the first time we rent a car from Auto-rent Cyprus, and we are always happy to do so. Great value for money, always available with 24/7 office agents to assist you with any problem arising regarding your rental, and always able to find a solution when things go wrong (last time the platform cancelled our booking without letting us or Auto-rent know, and they were happy to assist and provide us with a great value for money last-minute booking). Definitely recommend!

Cons: The pick up instructions / speed. There was no agent / information board present in the airport. We waited 15 minutes after the allocated pick up time, we then received a whatsapp message. We then contacted Auto Rent and had to wait to be collected. The process took about 40 minutes.

Unlike other providers, there was no sign or designated spot for pick-up, leaving us confused about where to wait. We had to call multiple times and ended up waiting nearly an hour for the shuttle. When the driver finally arrived, she was extremely rude. Later, we were told that the car we had booked was not available. The agent didn't offer any alternatives or options—he simply assigned something!

No customer service at all .No help to put bags in car, no communication at all - said hello just looked at us and straight open boot door and close and then back to his driving seat. Pick up direction not clear online - you will need to wait around the Costa. The car rented was absolutely a banger (damage to cosmetics, no phone holder, charger. Old portable ster but you get what you paid for.

Autorent couldn’t understand why satnav was added given little demand in Cyprus for satnav and most cars don’t have. Price was therefore adjusted downwards but meant we had to use phones to navigate.

The car drove awfully - the car stuttered as we went downhill, the brakes were loud and smelly and the steering wheel was all over the place. Car had 30km of petrol when told it was 1/3 full.

Cons: Car was 13 years old, multitude of things wrong with it. Contacted several times no response. Been overcharged & not refunded. Hired vehicle with enough space for 2 cases in boot & paid extra . only fit one resulted in a multiple problems for us on our holiday. Car covered in dints, side mirror did not open fully, dirty interior, hub caps held on my cable tie, lost one on the highway luckily nobody behind us at the time, car would not lock, fan belt screeching. Terrible service

Pros: Very friendly people, explained everything well and were very efficient when we dropped the car off.

Cons: There was a little miscommunication about picking the car up which meant we waited a while to get to the office, but that was the only thing that did it go so well.

Pros: Other than it taking me a bit of time to work out I needed to phone the representative on arrival in order for him to come and pick us up it was all excellent. Perhaps more explicit instructions could be provided. Once we’d worked that out it was perfect - even though we arrived in the early hours of the morning it was very efficient.

Pros: The car was quite old- oldest car ever rented on holidays however that didnt bother me, but it was not technically maintained- glove boxes kept opening and making bang while baby asleep, the boot start lock itself and coudnt open for long, disturbing ratling noise from air-con fan.

Cons: Didnt enjoyed regard request to keep well tidy- no sand, no food inside and we had baby in the car, so had to give very good cleaning before drop off.

Also i opted for a 5 seat car and i received a 4 seat

Cons: Doring my renting time I scratched the car in front and bottom part, due to a bump in the road. I reported it on returning the car, AutoRent Cyprus company charged me 800 eur. for two scratches ! The company charged me 800 eur. exactly my all deposit on arrivel ! I asked for sveral times, for an invoic of repairing the scratces from the garage, but They did'nt sent it till today.
