Pros: Guy was very nice when we were picking up. That, I was assume to make us trust him and need to pay extra $530 US

Cons: Felt taken advantage of. Had enquired before about extra costs and sent my own bank insurance. All ignored. Two ladies travelling. Were somewhat scared into getting big insurance plan. What if???

Cons: When returning the car I was charged a surcharge of US$100 for cleaning it from simple dust at the end of a month's rental, for those who don't know, Costa Rica is a wonderful country with lots of dirt roads so an accumulation of dust in a month is natural! I have been renting cars in Costa Rica since 2006 from most of the major rental companies and this has never happened before, this seems like theft to me! Pros: So far so good! You will pay a high deposit on a y car and purchase insurance. Once you start driving around you will know why!!! Lots of dirt roads. You have to get used to it. The car did well. One flat tire due to a construction nail. Changed it ourselves in 30 min. All tools in the car. Rental place was super chill about it. I called them when it happy to let them know. Overall a great experience. Deposit is due to be back in 2-3 business days.

Cons: Very busy place and I know they are constantly checking people in and out but a bit of a smile or have a fabulous time in Costa Rica, even a pura Vida would have been nice. Lot of serious faces in there!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1560.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Mileage policy
For rentals up to 2 days mileage is limited to 93 km per day.
For each additional km an additional charge of 0.25 USD per km will apply.
For rentals more than 3 days mileage is unlimited.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
