Pros: So far so good! You will pay a high deposit on a y car and purchase insurance. Once you start driving around you will know why!!! Lots of dirt roads. You have to get used to it. The car did well. One flat tire due to a construction nail. Changed it ourselves in 30 min. All tools in the car. Rental place was super chill about it. I called them when it happy to let them know. Overall a great experience. Deposit is due to be back in 2-3 business days.

Cons: Very busy place and I know they are constantly checking people in and out but a bit of a smile or have a fabulous time in Costa Rica, even a pura Vida would have been nice. Lot of serious faces in there!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1545.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Mileage policy
For rentals up to 2 days mileage is limited to 93 km per day.
For each additional km an additional charge of 0.25 USD per km will apply.
For rentals more than 3 days mileage is unlimited.
For each additional km an additional charge of 0.25 USD per km will apply.
For rentals more than 3 days mileage is unlimited.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.
