Pick-up instructions
After passing the customs post, go to the Terminal Exit, on the way, find the booths of some rent a car, neither Adobe Rent a Car nor EasyCar Costa Rica have cubicles in that area. A meeting and greetings service is provided when leaving the terminal, locate the representative, who carries a sign with renter name and flight number, the representative will guide renter to transfer service to the office near the terminal. The car will be waiting for renter after complying the rental documentation.

Pros: They where super professional and had the car super good conditions, also they had solutions even for a internet connection with a fair price. The people on the desk where super freendly and helpful

Cons: In costa rica they always try to sell you an extra insurance, i think this is a general problem not only from easycar, so you have an insurance and you still need to pay in case of a damage and then you get a refund. but iff you buy an extra insurance with them then you just need to drop the car and you will not have any problem iff you damadge it. Doesnt seems right this sistem

Pros: They apologized for making us wait an hour for the car. The previous people dropped it off late. And they said we didn’t have to bring it back with a full tank of gas for the inconvenience. The bathrooms there were spotless. Cleanest of our whole trip to Costa Rica and they have free water.

Cons: It was rather hard to find the representativ at the airport as he was standing at the very end behind a lot of other representatives. If the sign he/she are holding would show the logo bigger then it would be easier. It took rather long until the shuttle arrived (had to wait about 30 minutes). This might have been to the (unusual?) traffic situation at the time of our arrival.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 960.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name.
If the duration of your stay in Costa Rica is longer than 90 days, a driver license issued in Costa Rica is required.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 90 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
