Pros: Price and quality of the car was very good. Required (Mexicaan) TPL insurance was indeed included as the rental conditions described. Overall pick-up, very short shuttle bus and return was a pleasant experience.

Cons: Car interior could be somewhat cleaner, bit outside and condition of the car (Changan CS35 plus) was very good.

Pros: Quick pick-up and drop-off. Decent, helpful, english speaking crew. Free wifi at pick-up. No hidden fees, and no made-up penalties on minor scratches.

Cons: They charged more than it was agreed on discovercars, but at pick-up they corrected the price to the original, so it was ok at the end. I booked manual car, I got automatic. One part of the car was missing, but when we asked for it, they brought one from another car. The guy at pick-up was not really wanted to bother to register minor scratches, which made us worry a bit, but at drop off all it made sense, since they did not inspect the car with magnifying glass.

Cons: Had an accident (not my fault) and despite asking National to request the police report and all required paperwork to be able to claim money from insurance, they did none of that. They did not even have a record of the accident even though I called their 24 hour number and reported the issue. Additional fees that were not clearly explained that changed the cost of the car hire significantly. Size of the car requested vs offered was different. Would actively tell people to not use National

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1900.00 - € 7110.00), Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: ~€ 1900.00 - € 7110.00), Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, American Express.

Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
It is forbidden to cross country borders.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.


Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
