Cons: They gave complete different price at the time of rental and I was charged both from discover and europcar. Fuel was not full at start and I forgot to check. It was only half full.
Pros: Fairly quick
Cons: The additional fees. They basically said, “this is why you shouldn’t rent on these third party sites, bc they don’t make it clear what our basic liability insurance requirements are”.

Cons: The Europcar in Mexico did not communicate the cost of collision damage waiver ahead of time and did not include it in the discovercar booking or give the option to add. When we showed up they said we had to give them $12,000 USD or pay an extra $100 USD a day for their insurance. Total scam. Do not book with them. Car was not very clean and started making noises as soon as we left the lot. Gas tank was almost empty when we started and they tried charging us for “bringing it back empty”.
Pros: Picking up the agent was very clear and concise about the options
Cons: Dropping off the car I had to wait about 3 hours. If I had a flight out or was traveling that would have been a disaster.

Cons: The fact that they oblige me to buy another insurance even presenting the proof that I had a full coverage insurance with discoverycars
Pros: there is a free shuttle that brings you from airport to desk, and the same at the end of the rent. the dropping off was very efficient, it takes few minutes. the car was nearly new, good conditions
Cons: they have to be more efficient when pick up the car. my car was not available but I have booked 2 month ago. They always try to sell you extra insurance (covered by discover car) and they take you in hostage because if your don't bring their insurance, you pay 5000$ deposit. their behavior is a shame.
Pros: Not much! To release the insurance you provided we needed to pay 5K. The limit on my credit card was 2K. Before that even became an issue, Europcar were trying to sell me local insurance which 'was better'. We had to go for this in the end and had to pay $800 extra to what you had quoted us originally. Europcar showed us no empathy, compassion or flexibility. It was a terrible way to start the holiday!
Cons: I felt like they were trying to scam us constantly. When outside, one of their staff approached us telling us that her friend had a better rental company down the road and they would come to collect us. Everything was so dodgy. The car was in bad condition and provided an uncomfortable drive. I would not recommend either company.
Pros: All very friendly. Accepted insurance was covered.
Cons: They tried to add extra daily insurance, but accepted I was covered quickly. Shuttle bus took a while to arrive on pick-up.
Pros: Great deal on the car hire
Cons: Too long waiting to pick up the car…about 1.5hrs after a 10hr flight!! Agents spent a lot of time trying to up sell all their customers rather than getting through the queue.

Cons: The money seek attitude. 5000$ of deposit, gas policy, insurance. All of the above are key issues when renting a car. Europcar failed tem all. Cleanliness was another issue. We had to change to another car due to engine troubles. The new one came with water bottle and even money on the back seats. No clean is my point

Pros: Efficient service, automated process, very fast and professional drop-off
Cons: It wasnt "in-terminal" pick-up, while this was my main criterion for choosing Europcar. Shuttle bus wasnt arriving for over 30mins, while for other companies it was arriving every 10mins. Car we were given was different from model I booked - seemed lower class and with poorer equipment - it didnt even have central lock

Cons: Reading online that the cheaper agencies will try to sell you overpriced insurances, we chose Europcar because of the reliability of the company (although more expensive than most other agencies at Cancun Airport). Although we had done our research and know we had the required cover, Europcar still wouldnt hand us the car unless we took out a €70 p/day on top insurance. Only when we got back into the shuttlebus to go back to the airport, they offered €10 p/day instead. One word: Scammers!

Pros: There is a total lack of coherence regarding insurance policies. I bought from Discover cause a rental that was cleaned 100% watertight and fully inclusive. And yet you’re a car insisted I was not covered pretty much forced me into paying an extra $500. This is outrageous behavior
Cons: See, above. Was shambolic, rude, dishonest, and generally very unpleasant.
Cons: First the fact I was not allowed in the shop with my son. they would not accept my credit card to pay stating it would cost a huge amount extra to do so, it had to be my sons card as he was driving (totally ridiculous). they took 8k uSD on his card and then refunded it immediately we have no idea why. Plus the bank charged him to convert it to £’s so it cost £65. Car was supposed to be a full tank of fuel and it wasn’t. Dents and scratches, plus tried to sell you more insurance.
Pros: We ordered a Nissan xtaril and was given at the beginning a small suv by wv which was small to fit our tree suitcases then they gave us Nissan epic which was a bit bigger but still wasn’t what we ordered.
Pros: Drop off was smooth and quick
Cons: far short of the standards of other Europcar I experienced worldwide. No different to local companies, with all the tricks that come with it: old and bashed up car (75k+), fuel: 1/3 tank full instead of full, requested a $10k deposit on the car (probably more than the car value itself) in spite of pre booking CDW, that was the supposed minimum insurance "excess", which can be waived if you're willing to pay double for your rental (ie another $40/day)
Pros: The car was decent, spacious and easy to drive. The agents on the return were much better than we picked up the car.
Cons: This was one of the worst experiences of our trip. We booked with Europcar as it was a well known brand and was advertised as within the airport, we paid much more to start with for this benefit. My advice is don't, please read below before you book as this was the worst experience of picking up a car. Scam do not book. I'll put a longer review but there's a character limit

Pros: The speed of the workers was pretty good but unfortunately almost completely useless because of the inconveniences.
Cons: On my reservation voucher the excess was 600 dollars, at the office they told me the excess is 1200 dollars and even after showing them the voucher they refused trying to show me a clause that was saying something completely different. My conclusion was that they didn't even understand English language to the full extent and they didn't even actually care they were just trying to convince me to buy the insurance. The stupid thing was that the full insurance was more expensive than the excess.
Cons: The insurance didn’t covert scratches. Only full damage. I wouldn’t have book the insurance if I knew that.
Pros: Nothing. (The Location close to the Airport)
Cons: It took three hours to Pick up the car. Because there were 13 people waiting (3 desks working) before it was my turn. I has everything ready, licence, Passwort, Credit Card. The guy Did Not have to make anything else than put it in the system and give me the papers. No extra Insulaner etc... even this took him 25(!!!) Minuten. After that another 30 Minutes to wait for the car. I'm satisfied with discovercarhire, big this was the Last Time ln my life that I will Drive a europcar!
