Cons: This was the worst and shadiest car rental experience I’ve ever had and I’ve rented hundreds of times.

Cons: It seems like a scam when you get there the agents try to upsell the total cost.
Cons: When I collected the car they offered me additional insurance. I told them I did not need additional insurance because I already had full cover through Discover Cars. I repeated no additional insurance, but the agent still added insurance to the rental without telling me, then asked me to initial the contract in ten or more places, which I did not check carefully, so I initialled for the extra charge, which they would not then remove

Cons: The whole experience. Terrible. Had to bribe the workers to finally get my car after an hour sitting outside.
Cons: The give you a shitty car and try to charge you with anything they find when you return the car. In my case the key broke when I started the motor and I lost a wheel cap since obviously it was not fixed well. Dolar charged me both.
Cons: Dollar is now owned by Hertz in Cancun. I had to pay $500 to rent a filthy old VW Bora. Not cool. Would not recommend.

Cons: It took us two hours to get the car and an hour of that waiting. Of course someone gets off the bus and helps them first. When you get inside it was just argueing from every desk the customer was unhappy and no joke either. I read the reviews, but discovercars.com already picked for me. The price from my receipt saying I'll have to pay a certain amount upon arrival didn't include $68 in tax. I paid full coverage in advanced, but dollar doesn't 3rd party insurance. Trying to charge $60 a day in
Pros: Didnt like anything. The staff doesnt know what they need to do. I spent more than 1 hour to get the car. That ruined the whole car rental experience. Be aware this is with Dollar and Trifthy as they recently merged

Cons: Dollar "Lost" our photos that were proof of the condition of the car, and charged us for damage that was there when we picked up the car. The car was full of dents when we picked it up, it is clear they are charging renters for damage they haven't done and are not fixing it. Additionally, the agent was incredibly hostile. Finally, when we picked up the car, there was no one at the desk (though it said it was a 24 hour pickup) and we had to call around to find someone to help us.
Pros: I like that they picked me up at airport to get me to the car rental office.
Cons: My contract with you included TPL and once I picked up the car, they said that coverage was not recognized by them. If I was to be involved in an accident, I'd have to pay for the damages and then, take it up with you. It was the same story for my coverage with Capital One/Master Card, they would not recognize their coverage for collision/theft. That is not reassuring. But it seems like all rental car companies in Mexico do the same.
Pros: Staff was very kind and really patient during the retire of the car.
Cons: The agent tried to sell me an insurance saying it is a must. After reading the insurance description it is a must see in case you enter US territory. We were going to Cancun and the insurance did not applied. The agent said we " didn't understand" the insurance description and insisted we had to take it. Obviously we didn't.
