Express Car Rental at Antalya Airport International Arrivals

Pros: Quick pick up and drop off.

Cons: Left the fuel but did not get the refund.

Cons: Last year and this year they wouldnt accept my Credit Card for reservation. Ended up with a Three time higher rate then expected ( same as last year) Wonder of Discover car is aware of how Express car runs their business?

Cons: I was not able to use my credit card for deposit and was forced to buy insurance from renting company. I checked from my bank and from VISA and their opinion was that problem for deposit not working from VISA credit card was on rental company side becasue they did not see any actions in their system.

Cons: They are a rip off company, stay away. My hire was supposed to cost me £160 ended up costing me £380 as they do not honour the online booking

Pros: Good communication and easy pick up and drop off. The staff were pleasant and courteous.

Cons: I was informed on of collection the vehicle that the deposit that was to be taken would be held for upto 45 days after the return of the car. The reason was given that it was incase there were any speeding tickets. It was only for this reason that I paid for the insurance which almost doubled the cost. The vehicle we received was a little bit rough and required some maintenance. However it did the job.

Pros: Absolutely nothing—without exaggeration. This is regarding the current ownership as of February 2024.

Cons: Scamming from the start with a forced overcharge and a 3hr ordeal of incompetence to get the car. Car was heavily damaged, mechanically unsound, illegal bald/cracked summer tires, unclean with garbage from last customers still inside. Car broke down and company refused to pay for towing and repairs after lying that they would. 13 day ordeal arguing back and forth to try to get reimbursed with repeated overt lies and deceitful obfuscations. Seemingly no ethics nor consideration for human life.

Pros: I rented a car in Turkey twice and was scammed twice. Disgusting !!!!!

Cons: They delivered the car 1 hour early, disrupting my plans. The car wiper blade (rubber) was broken, and there was no wiper fluid. They asked me to return the car early (due to traffic) but then made me wait a long time before sending me to airport because there was only one person attending the shop.

Cons: Car not what we expected too small for 4 adults and luggage even though we ordered one which should have accommodated us. Very underpowered engine. Charge made for over 66 yrs driver which wasn’t mentioned when booking. Rep tried to forcefully sell us extra insurance even tho we told him several times we had our own. First car had faulty clutch so we had to go back to the rental office the next day for the new car. This was probably because we told them how far we’d be travelling!

Not enough room here for a full explanation but we ended up getting ripped off and forced to take their insurance although we already had our own. Costing an extra £160. Car had 80k on the clock and barely drivable. Eventually they did replace with another car but aircon not working half the time. AVOID.

Cons: First car had covered 159000km and the condition was average. I had to return car two days later because the company insurance ran out. The second car had a screw stuck in the rear tyre, the process took nearly two hours to sort. Not a good experience.

Cons: The car seat was not fitted properly. The worker left the seat in the back for us to fit, but did not inform us or provide instructions.

Cons: You had to phone the company as you arrived- this wasn’t convenient as our phone network charged a bomb. They only accept credit card for the deposit- this I knew but I wasn’t aware that American Express was not accepted. We were therefore charged an additional £50. They gave us a car with no fuel- the situation was awful trying to find a petrol station at night in a new city with no sat nav. We filled the car up and returned it with half a tank. Seems a bit of a scam.

Cons: 'Meet and Greet' should be explained further by Discovercars. I understood this to mean the rental agent will bring the car to you and you can drive away from the airport. In actual fact they meet you and take you to their rental office which is 5mins drive from the airport, and also provide a drop-off service on returning the car.

Cons: If the office was directly located at the airport it would have been a plus, but still as there is a pick up and drop off service it compensates.

He gave us a detailed run through of everything about the car, we were very happy with the car it was spacious and brand new with A/C and zero problems

After a 15 minute wait someone came out and told me they didn’t have an office at the airport and told me we had to drive for 15 minutes out of airport and on arrival to car rental place I was told I had to pay extra for insurance £70 and also extra £100 for credit card somehow my credit card did not work at their office and so on……..
