Cons: The drop-off location for Europcar returns requiring an in-person inspection in Split is outside the airport parking lot, and this was not made clear when the car was picked up in Zagreb. This lack of information resulted in a significant waste of time trying to locate the correct return point, as I did not want to simply drop off the key. After locating the drop-off point, the service provided by the Europcar staff was excellent.

Pros: Nice and polite. Desk is right at the exit and easy to find.
Cons: We got to the pickup 40 mins before our reservation. The agent askes if We want to wait, because the car isn’t ready yet. We wanted to proceed. Otherwise We had to loose our spot and get behind in line and wait again. Despite our onlinereservation it took close to 20 mins to fill out the forms. Afterwards We got outside to get the Car, and that guy had to run back inside to get the keys, and find a childseat. Europecar is among the more expensive rentalcompanies, i had higher expectations

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications.

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 15.04.
