Avia Rent A Car at Zagreb Airport

Pros: Very friendly and helpful about route finding

Cons: The seat adjustment in the car was jammed so could not adjust for comfort

Pros: Easy to find

Cons: The car was not acceptable to drive on highways

Cons: The way they treated us showed us disrespect, rudeness to my partner and me—was unacceptable; regardless of whether something was wrong with the car. But basically we had a horrible way to start our trip and they never accepted that this car had the clutch was malfunctioning, posing a risk of a car accident. The way they treated

Pros: Speed

Cons: Going back to petrol station once car was returned

Pros: Quick and easy and kind

Pros: Fahrzeug Reinigung war nicht im Preis enthalten und für mich überraschend dass ich Kosten dadurch habe

Cons: War okay okay

Cons: Car provided was all scratched and with many many dents. Electric mirrors not working. Car provided was a downgrade from Peugeot 2008 or similar.

Pros: They upgraded my car, it was in very good condition, and the car collection was very close to the terminal.

Cons: The last minute request for the car cleaning fee or €15. The agents were all bad communicators and unfriendly.

Pros: Agent was very customer oriented and process was fairly smooth and quick

Cons: Asking for 20 euro to pay at the pick up to avoid car cleaning charges

Pros: Friendly service and quick. No upselling which is very important. Convenient location and good value

Cons: Didn’t resolve out attempt to resolve mechanical issue

Pros: Pickup and drop off went seamlessly. Agents were clear with instructions, provided useful information and answered any questiones we had throughly.

Cons: We did not get the car we booked, but understand that can happen depending on inventory available at the time of pickup.

Pros: Car had many scratches and the person delivering it told me to take photos and make movie about the car and didnt point any scratches or bumps I had to make sure i mark them my self and that is annoying.

Cons: Avia rental car told me i need to wash my car after return or i have to pay 16€ if i want them to clean veichule. I have rented dozens of cars and never i had to wash the car before dropp off.

Cons: Have to pay cleaning fee, never seen such charges from car rentals.

Pros: Good

Cons: Our car had electric issues and we kept getting fault messages. We should of insisted they swap it for another in Zagreb

Pros: Free upgrade, good car, clean, quick processing

Cons: Asking for a washed car on return is not a common practice.

Pros: nothing worse car rental company

Cons: scam artisits try to overcharge drivers

Pros: All of the above

Cons: Car cleaning fee

Pros: Clean car. Clear explainations

Pros: Excellent rental process, nice clean car, no hassle being an hour late, pleasant staff

Cons: One has to clean the car before returning or pay 15 euros when collecting the car for the company staff to clean on return. This cost should be included in the up front rental cost. It’s impossible to use a hire car for a week without it getting dirty!

Cons: They force you to spend an additional €15 to €35 to clean the car. When you refuse and return the car, they say it is not clean enough and you will have to pay the money just the same since you have your deposit which would not be released otherwise.

Pros: Helpfulness and great stuff

Cons: Strange cleaning car policy

Pros: No surprises

Cons: Nothing

Pros: All straightforward

Pros: Easy pick up

Cons: The embedded gps system could be lagging especially when there are multiple turns

Pros: Not a lot

Cons: Unhelpful staff, long lines, bald tyres causes slipping in the wet weather, no spare tyre

Pros: Car was nice

Cons: We had a flat tire during our rental. We used the repair kit and had the tire repaired at our cost. When we went to Avia to get a replacement repair cartridge, they charged us $130 for that. We will be submitting a claim to be reimbursed for that. They were not that helpful in getting the replacement cartridge, and the charge I feel was very high compared to what you can get that for on the Internet.

Pros: not much. The front attendant was rude with a cocky attitude. Each time she spoke it was to add money or complain. But nice car overall to drive.

Cons: rude front attendant .. changing prices.. car's condition.. the inside was dirty.. the outside had many scratches, dents, dings, and markings too many to mention. Not enough explanation of car's features. Double charged on many things.. GPS, driver's age.. return fee.. We paid these three things at pickup and were charged once again after drop off. Charged for front damage when it was already there.

Pros: Professionalism

Pros: Bad service i just return the at 06:38 instead of 08:00 and they charged me 80 euro that i bring the car back early and not late 😂😂 its a joke , and also they charged me 12 euro extra for the car was'nt clean but its was i have photo and its was raining there , and all of this charges made without my permission

Cons: Bad service i just return the at 06:38 instead of 08:00 and they charged me 80 euro that i bring the car back early and not late 😂😂 its a joke , and also they charged me 12 euro extra for the car was'nt clean but its was i have photo and its was raining there , and all of this charges made without my permission

Pros: Pick-up and drop-off were quick and easy. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional throughout. The car was clean, well-maintained, and drove beautifully . Overall, I was very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend this service to others.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: I liked the agent at the airport

Cons: They charged me 80 euros to cross the border, when I know for a fact others charge 10 or 20. Also, why even charge extra?!?! And they wanted to charge me for cleaning the car, when a dragonfly got stuck in the front of the car. Cleaning should be included in the price. I would understand if I brought the car back and it was stained with ice cream and had crisps all over, but this was petty and the car was clean!

Pros: I liked the car and I liked picking up at the airport.

Cons: When I was at the Avia desk after signing the papers the last thing the agent said was you have to bring the car back clean. I asked him to repeat this as it was peculiar to me. He repeated the sentence and I said what does that mean?, like no garbage in the car? He said yes, we charge 9 euros now for cleaning or 12 euros if it come back dirty. I said well I don't plan on leaving garbage in the car. That was the end of that conversation. I was charged 12 euros for " dirt on wheels". No ...

Pros: The car offered a good driving experience but it wasn’t the car I originally chose though it was in the same class

Cons: We did a mistake due to not having a credit card ( we thought a debit card would be a good alternative ) for which we rightly paid very dearly. This said the agent at the Avia desk was utterly unhelpful as he took advantage of our helpless situation to convince that the full coverage insurance we paid online to discovercars.com was completely worthless as it was not recognized by them had we had an accident. Never again neither discovercars.com nor Avia .

Pros: Fast . ,simple service

Cons: Price ..

Pros: Car was new and in good condition, the pick up and drop off is convenient but the process could be streamlined

Pros: Efficient

Cons: Not sure about when the bond will be refunded?

Pros: Almost new car. Bigger than expected. Clear instructions

Cons: Was a bit difficult to find the car and verify damages in the dark

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Terrible service and I recommend avoiding at all costs. They invent damage, and if there is no damage, then they invent that something is dirty inside and needs chemical cleaning. Agency to seize money on false claims. Read the reviews about this agency on tripadvisor, and only for Split, for example, and everything will be clear to you.

Pros: The service wasn’t too bad

Cons: I didn’t receive a car that I was supposed get they said it is similar but I wanted suv for the price I paid

Pros: I got an excellent car. Practically new.

Cons: Good rental (Peugeot 208, 6k km), but rental counter pushed extra insurance despite having full coverage through Discover Cars. Unprofessional upsell—clarify policies to avoid confusion.

Cons: En la recogida el señor fue muy brusco, y no le gustó que el seguro no fuera con ellos, puso mala cara cuando no contratamos ni varios conductores, ni pasar la frontera, hablo rápido y sin pararse, mi inglés es muy pobre.

Pros: They gave me a relatively new car, which was really good and exceeded my expectations!

Pros: Very bad, because we are not refunded for the oil and we didnt got proper information.

Pros: Avia is a scam. They told me the car needed a deep cleaning and charged me for it. The manager got in my face and was screaming at me, telling me that if I did not pay he would call the cops.

Pros: Everything great people.

Cons: N/A

Pros: Absolutamente nada.

Cons: Dont accept de book, tell me im late a lost the book, and meka me other expesive

Pros: Martine was extremely helpful in getting us a replacement car when the origibal broke down

Cons: Upon returning the car an AVIA rep was pushing to charge for a polish fee ( which they eventually agreed was not necessary). At same time they were pressuring another family to pay a cleaning fee which they also refeused as car was clean. Mostly I would not use AVIA again as they charged us euro120 for 2 extra days and would not consider this was actually day 15/16 of our rental. This day rate was way over our previous day rate

Pros: Very reliable and efficient service

Cons: /

Pros: They make a point of doing everything electronically (vs. being more paper-based) - this allowed for a faster pick-up and more importantly a faster drop-off / return process when it came to inspecting the car.

Cons: They charged extra for car washing - in that I needed to return the car washed or pay EUR 9 for them to wash it - I have never experienced this before when renting a car and felt like it was an extra fleece charge. I also needed to pay an extra charge to be able to take the car on a ferry to one of the local islands - again I feel like this is an excuse to charge more money. Neither of these charges were disclosed when I booked the car online and I only discovered this when picking up the car.

Pros: Very professional staff in the car rentel shop.

Cons: Service was excellent!

Pros: Friendly people,good,new car

Cons: Everything was good, except the bill didn't match same price we were told renting it on line from Canada. There was about $100 e more then we were supposed to pay

Cons: Additional price for border crossing (I need this service only for one day but have to pay for hole renting period). Car wash by myself or additional payment.

Pros: nothing

Cons: everything, fire everyone and start all over. Also dont hire passive aggressive dudes smoking cigarettes in the "bunker" they call a desk

Pros: Car condition

Cons: Poor agent service and I feel like I got scammed. They try to find anything to overcharge you. I you return your car with dust on body, they charge 10 Euros. They bill me 293 Euros for a scratch under the front bumper that I'd never inspected at the beginning...

Pros: Friendly.

Cons: Expectation of returning car clean wasnt clear that I needed to wash car after 300km motorway drive. The car inside was cleaned.

Pros: Desk inside the airport and close to embarking gates.

Cons: Nobody to pick up the car at the end of rent, although I was instructed to be there on time, since member of the company will be there in order to check and take the car n keys.

Pros: Very efficient and clear information.

Cons: They charge you to clean the car. You can opt to do it yourself, but it was difficult to find a working car wash near the airport.

Cons: Additional costs for winter tyres and crossing EU border

Pros: Quick

Cons: Additional winter tyre charge of €33 charged at counter on top of agreed fees. €130 charge for minor blemish on plastic bumper which would polish out easily and I did not cause but arriving at night and not taking photos, cannot prove I did not cause. €70 ‘damage processing fee’ which is excessive in the extreme.

Pros: Nice staff

Cons: Hidden charges

Pros: Fast and courteous.

Cons: Additional charge for winter tires which are required by law and additional cost for car wash. Never in 40 years of renting cars did I have to wash my rental car before returning it or pay an additional fee.

Pros: Good service and nice people.

Cons: Too many hidden costs. For example: Surcharge for winter tires.

Pros: The car was in a perfect condition, the staff were nice.

Cons: I didn't like unexpected additional cost of cleaning - there was a choice to clean the car by myself or pay €9. I didn't like that we were charged extra for the winter tyres, when these are obligatory by law in Croatia so all rental cars must have these tyres. I wouldn't have a choice to deny this service anyway, so I do not understand why the winter tyres are not simply part of the total cost and why the original quote doesn't include it.

Pros: Very good , fast and officiant

Cons: Was disappointed and very much surprised when I was charge extra for winter tires!

Pros: Service was exceptional. When a change in pick-up time was needed, there was an agent that promptly responded to the phone call and made the arrangements happen hassle free. Amazing customer service and ease-of-use. Would use this service again and would highly recommend. Thanks so much for being available!

Cons: I feel there was a bit of up-selling that happened at the destination at the pick-up counter. Things were purchased that weren't necessary. Will be wiser in future.

Pros: Pleasant and quick service.

Cons: Extra charges for winter tires and not having to wash the car.

Pros: Very good

Cons: Very professional

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Everything

Pros: Picked up the car in the night but luckily took a video with poor light. In the contract the agent showed one damage. When I did the video there were multiple scratches.

Cons: When I went to drop off , I did tell the agents that I was told only one damage was reported by the agent and all the others were not. They did seem to debate about it for some time and then finally said it was all okay. It would have been good if they had a contract with them to see what was signed up .

Pros: The staff when pick up was good

Cons: The staff when drop off was rude, we had been asked to present the paper of contract but we did not bring along. She said we should bring along the documents !all the time ! This is first time we had been asked to present the contract when drop off car. The drop off experience was really bad the staff and my friend along back and forth argue.

Pros: All was quick and efficient. No pressure or hassle from anyone.

Cons: All good.

Pros: Polite, quick and apporachable

Pros: Very easy and effortless process. Well arranged and friendly staff.

Cons: The agent was unprofessional and did not treat me with respect as a customer. I will never return or recommend this company and agent for car rental.

Cons: Dirty windows .car had not been cleaned .

Pros: Very nice stuff. Professional, easy going and very polite

Pros: On time, excellent car quality,

Cons: Time waiting for car return

Pros: Rather simple procedure when you understand how it works.

Cons: Make sure you give them the most precise arrival time! Arrived to the desk 2hr later than expected. Personel il place was a bit mad about it and had already gave my reservation to someone else. Had to pay about double to get a upscale car with a slipping clutch but was practicaly new otherwise. Please try yo be a bit more considerate with travellers at the end of an realy long journey...

Pros: The car worked

Cons: All interactions with Avia employees. Poor customer service.

Pros: In terminal desk and collection was very close to terminal.

Cons: All was good

Pros: Excelente, experiencia muy agradable, empleados muy atentos y amables

Cons: Nada malo, todo bien

Pros: Good service and quick

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very easy pick up and drop off

Cons: I wish the car seats were installed or at least instructions provided. We had a lot of difficulty trying to set it up and we didn’t do it properly in the end.

Pros: Avia was great even though the rental agency condos out of over $300 because we were late one day due to a flight delay out of our control rental company AVIA was great. They did cost us an extra $350 to get another vehicle so in total we lost over $700 going through this booking agency next time we will go directly to AVIA

Cons: They could not give us a 4 doors car.

Pros: Almost brand new Kia XCeed with cruise and plenty of power

Cons: Did not wash the car, were late by 1hr

Pros: Fast ,affordable and reliable

Pros: Kindness and professionalism of their employees

Cons: I liked absolutely everything

Cons: Flat rate charges regardless on if it’s returned early. Them cancelling the booking for being a little late.

Cons: Car was not ready when we showed up.

Pros: Efficient, polite and professional staff

Pros: Good service

Pros: Avoid this company, explaining why in the next box. But what was good: - Dropping the car in the DUBROVNIK's office was really good, very efficient agents. - The car was in great state.

Cons: AVOID ZAGREB Avia Rent a Car. The car rental main agent was unprofessional and a liar. They did not have the baby seat car we had booked. Said they would do anything to fix it so I paid. When I received the keys IN THE PARKING, they had no solution and wanted ME, TO LEAVE MY FAMILY AND DRIVE ALONE TO A STORE TO BUY MYSELF A BABY SEAT IN A CITY I DON'T KNOW, blaming Discovercars had messed up and it wasn't their problem. Only on car rejection, they found a baby seat from another company.

Pros: the que

Cons: long que

Pros: It's cheating to downgrade.

Pros: Spoke English fluently. Fast service.

Cons: Expensive for extra insurance. Car was dirty on outside.

Cons: you cheated on us, we felt robbed

Pros: Easy, no issues

Pros: Everything

Cons: Everything

Pros: The car was of good quality.

Cons: The insurance is too expensive, the staff does not tell all the details about the insurance which is paid at the counter. The staff should be better trained about the terms and friendlier. Without eye rolling, e.g. I got a better car, but I didn't order it.

Pros: The car is clean and new.

Cons: Long waiting time to register and pick up car. Only one staff at the counter.

Pros: The car was in a very good condition et very clean.

Cons: We showed up around 45 minutes prior to the estimate reservation hour and the car wasn’t ready. It took almost an hour before we got it.

Pros: Easy to talk to

Pros: No coment rubish

Cons: Absolut rubish

Pros: Excellent service. Personally for self, AVIA best agency in Croatia! Will use same company for future renting.

Pros: It is atvthe airport.

Cons: Extra charging without prior notice, or hiding information they will charge you extra. Car not clean. You have a feeling they are dodgy, messing out something... Fuel not full, and then asking for photo when returning the car...

Pros: Easy check in and out check out experience. Kind staff. No one pressured us to purchase further coverage, etc as they do in the States. Car was very nice. Would recommend to anyone.

Pros: The car was fine and agency easy to find

Cons: The charge was 3 times the original amount I booked for. They charged me £50 for coming 15 min late because my plane was late to depart. Also £30 extra for winter tyres - in April!

Pros: Minibus was good.

Cons: It was dirty, damage wasn't marked. The worst thing is: Avia rent a car company is stilling your money by CHARGING 35 EUROS FOR WINTER TIRES! They must provide the those until 15.04. It's the same as charging for car having wheels! Total rip off! They should be punished.

Cons: I dont lika that they receives payment for winter tires. It was warm, 25 degrees and no need for winter tires. It was not clear when I booked the car that I havet to pay for the winter tires.

Cons: Paying 30e for winter tires, almost the same price as the rental for a week. Should be noted somewhere.

Cons: Service agents were not particularly engaged - resulted in picking up a car with less than full fuel and a really slow drop off experience that almost resulted in me missing my flight. Also, if you end up getting full coverage at the desk - Avia ends up being more expensive than a lot of the more reputable brands. Some hidden fees. GO with other providers...

Pros: Quick pick up and drop off

Cons: They charge for winter tyres separately which is not included in the price advertised on discover cars. Other companies that were available on Zagreb airport have tyres included in the main price.

Pros: Everything was spot on. Only thing I would question is extra fee for winter tyres I was asked to pay when I was picking up car. I don’t understand why all this is not included on form when we booking car first place? It should not be any hidden cost. Thank you

Pros: Thanks again

Pros: Splendid crew!

Cons: Highway tolls in 🇭🇷 are one of most expensive in the whole Europe!

Pros: 10/10 says it all.

Pros: All was great

Cons: Except the charge for the winter wheels. Very misleading. How can we rent a car without it and small print says additional payment. Disappointing

Cons: The agent we picked up from could not provide a copy of the marked up car inspection in Zagreb. So on arrival in Split they used an old inspection, luckily no charges were attempted in Split but this could have caused serious issues.

Pros: Very efficient

Pros: I use avia for years now. Great service

Cons: Straightforward easy and good cars

Pros: Cruise control didn’t work

Cons: Service rep was very helpful

Pros: Easy, cheap and fit for purpose

Cons: Trying to be sold comprehensive insurance when we'd already bought it through discover cars

Pros: not professional attitude towards clients

Cons: no one at the counter, terribly rude communication on the mobile phone

Pros: Friendly, fast and no hassle

Cons: Everything was good

Pros: Agents were very nice and explained everything clearly. The car was clean and in excellent condition

Cons: No complaints

Cons: Car was not clean.

Pros: The return of the car and the staff were excellent. Extremely fast, friendly and efficient.

Cons: The agent at the collection desk was an atrocity to mankind. An absolute pig of a man. Rude, obnoxious and tried to be intimidating. He was arguing with the clients in front of us when we arrived and I can’t believe he represents your company.

Pros: Very friendly

Cons: None

Pros: I did not like anything about the service

Cons: Because we was over an hour late collecting the car (despite having paid for it from the selected time) our car was cancelled and given to someone else, no other cars were available and was unable to get my money back due to T&C small print stating after 1 hour you’ll not be allowed a refund. Terrible service

Pros: The clarity with which the agents explained everything to us

Cons: The fact that we had specifically booked the type of car that we needed for the trip, but we received a different car in which we struggled with our luggage

Pros: Everything went very smoothly. Car was new and clean. Staff was great.

Cons: The cost of the car rental was astronomical. I don't think i will be able to afford a car rental again and will rely on taxis for our next trip.

Pros: Car was badly damaged and not marked on the paperwork, we had to point it out, not good as if you're inexperienced in renting a car you may not be aware that you need to not trust the rental company with what's on their paperwork.

Cons: The badly damaged car an the fact the car wasn't cleaned properly as we found items In the car from the previous renter

Pros: Good clean car

Cons: Overcharged for insurance. Poor quality GPS

Pros: You can use a debit card for payment but need a credit card for deposit. Otherwise they play with you and ask for 200€ insurance.

Cons: Unacceptable

Pros: Amazing company and staff! Mattia and Branimir were really helpful, the car i got was AWESOME and i will definitely recommend them!

Pros: Nothing. See "didn't you like".

Cons: The car was rented from 14:00. When we arrived at the Zagreb airport, it was 17:00. Because we was late, the car was not available. The agent of Avia proposed us a new location with Optima Rent (not Avia?), with almost 300€ more... So i cannot rate Avia because the car was not rented with Avia but Optima Rent. During the drop off, nothing document have been signed.

Pros: Location

Cons: Drop off hours! My flight was 6:25 am , and we need to be 2 hours early, so we need to return car , but they are not open so 80 euros extra cost , still , can’t ( no drop off option) so we end up cutting vacation one day early, returning car one day early , spending night in hotel to accommodate them , and on my question about refund ( Krešo , was very unprofessional) saying “ what you want me to give you money from my packet “” ! Just write me email on rental agreement and told me go.

Pros: Quick rental, great car fully equipped

Cons: Car was scratched very visibly

Pros: Efficient, professional

Pros: They are shady business that steal people money under pretense of providing upgrade.

Cons: They canceled my reservation and claimed no cars are available so I need to pay new preoce which was double of reservation.

Pros: Car had a big dent on the passenger doors

Cons: Car was damaged

Cons: I didn’t get a car what I rented. I rented small SUV I got Audi A3.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Everthing! To have our car hire cancelled without any notification was terrible and then to be charged over double for an inferior at is awful. I will never recommend either company. I expect to be contacted.

Pros: Straight forward and good value

Cons: The car had a tyre pressure sensor failure which hadn’t been picked up. So I had to drive the car for 3 weeks with a flashing warning light on the cockpit display.

Pros: Very reliable

Pros: Nothing. He did not show any type of empathy and just said I can’t help you

Pros: Very easy to find and staff were very helpful and friendly

Cons: There was a delay with the car being available due to it being washed however the car was not very clean

Cons: Easy process renting a car

Cons: No one to receive the car as promised. No one is answering phone calls. Call rec'd back just before boarding the plane. You should have someone physically there or a drop box in this situation instead of being forced leaving in the car.

Cons: It’s impossibly to reach someone at discover cars since they are international. The people at the rental place didn’t even have the car I paid for and we had no room for our luggage because of that.

Pros: Everything was great

Pros: Great nearly new car. Efficient pickup and dropping.

Pros: Everything good

Pros: They was a representative waiting for us out of office hours

Cons: They said that the discovery cars insurance had nothing to do with them and so needed an other insurance from there end too.

Pros: Customer service is big zero (0) At pickup have to call them three times to come over to desk , after 45 minute wait, and person on phone was so RUDE and hung up call on me

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Efficiency. All questions answered.

Cons: N/A

Pros: The car was brand new, and I was first person renting it. It still had new car smell. I was so impressed.

Cons: N/a

Pros: Alles perfekt

Pros: Efficient

Cons: Car not what ordered.

Pros: Helt ny bil sista 3 gånger jag fick hyra bil hos Avia... Otroligt!!

Cons: As per booking code DC-4437050 I booked SUV Volkswagen T-Cross or similar on January 12, 2023. For total amount of $1660.15 or 1.125 euros. When I came to pick up my vehicle, they at Zagreb airport prepared for me KIA XCeed which is Sedan, not SUV. They didn’t have any SUV to offer me, so I had to take AUDI Q2, because of limited time (17:30),I needed to reach Vinkovci (300 km) before night time. They charged me with extra 480 euros, 400 euros for upgrade and 80 euros for GPS which I didn’t get.

Pros: Efficency, nice all smooth.

Cons: Dirty and scratches/damage of vehicle. Agent had to call to clarify drop off included.

Pros: Helpful

Cons: Friendly

Pros: Easy and great value for money in Croatia

Pros: I was treated fairly , I got a car as I erquested, everything went without problem.

Cons: Everything was excellent

Pros: Was a fast smooth hire with friendly staff

Cons: Car wasn’t a ‘similar’ to what I originally wanted. A large dent in the rear of the car. Only 5 gears and the rear parking sensors wasn’t working. I would’t use aviva again for those reasons.

Pros: The car was a new car

Cons: It ended up 3 times more expensive because they don’t accept visa debit cards, it does say it in the fine print but we have been able to use the credit part of our debit card in America, New Zealand and Hawaii without any issues. I booked the car but intended for only my husband to drive the car in Croatia, we had to pay the additional driver fee (I think was 75 Euro) even though I didn’t want to drive. Make sure you book in the name of the person who will be driving

Pros: Very good service

Cons: Very easy to find out what desk and everything is ready for you to move forward.

Pros: Our flight was delayed but the Avia rental agent willingly stayed late to see us through our pick up. The car was superb, one of the best I've rented. I normally drive on the other side of the road but this little beauty handled the variable conditions in Croatia extrmely well. The drop off was simple and friendly. I would highly recommend Avia to anyone. and we'll be looking out for them in future rentals.

Cons: It did take quite a while to fill in all the details. I guess this is true with all car rentals these days and is related to security issues.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Agent was not around when we went to pick up the car. He came after 10 minutes or so.

Pros: The car itself , however the fuel gauge was faulty which meant I had to drive to the fuel station after I returned the car

Cons: The faulty fuel gauge and having to wait for the staff on arrival since nobody was manning the desk and there were no instructions to call the number

Pros: Value for money.

Cons: No representative available at the desk when we arrived to collect vehicle.

Cons: Rood person in charge when I have completed about dirty car.

Pros: The ability to communicate via whatsapp was very comfortable

Cons: All was good

Cons: They have robbed me of my money. My flight was delayed and when landing at the airport I was told the booking automatically gets cancelled after one hour and I cannot get my deposit back. I cannot help that my flight was delayed.

Pros: Everything was good

Cons: Good service

Cons: They did not have any car . They cancelled because I arrived one hour later. I found another car usig check24.de platform on my mobile

Pros: Absolutely nothing

Cons: Car condition was terrible, 13 dents and scratches. Avia is charging €40 per hour for a drop off before opening hours - there is no drop off box. Also, they charge €35 service charge to refill gas tank on top of the gas itself. On the end, I paid additional €115 for services that 99% of other car rentals do not charge. Enough to never book again with them and stick to other companies.

Pros: I like it when the delivery equals the promise

Cons: I couldn’t fault it

Pros: The staff on both collection and drop off was fantastic

Cons: The only fault was the desk in terminal was not manned

Pros: Great customer service, particularly as they had to stay later than their regular hours for me to pick up the car. The car itself was bigger and better than the one I had booked which was much appreciated with three small kids and a lot of bags. Dropping the car off was also extremely efficient. Took about 5 minutes total from parking to getting on with my day.

Cons: The barrier to exit the rental car park didn't open automatically. That was about my only complaint.

Pros: Everything was perfect. We even got upgraded

Pros: Easy access at Zagreb airport for pickup and easy airport dropoff at Dubrovnik airport.

Cons: 1) I was charged 35 euros for winter tires which was never in the original contract with discover cars. I would really like to get that refunded. 2) the driver side collision sensor was malfunctioning. Even if the car ahead was more than 10 meters ahead, it would make a continual shrill noise saying there could be a collision, which was a big nuisance during the entire rental. 2) the second issue with the car was the sudden cutting out of the engine when in stationery mode when waiting.

Cons: costumer service - very unprofessional aprouch

Pros: There was very little service or information provided by staff at rental desk/pick up

Cons: That we received a dented, damaged , dirty car and the staff were quite rude at pick up

Pros: Excellent service and easy communication with staff

Pros: Absolutely everything

Pros: excellent service and ready to help

Pros: Clean efficient car.Friendly staff.

Cons: They will nickel and dime you for everything 80 euro for taking car to Bosnia 125 euro for taking car to Serbia 35 euro fee for winter tires ,fee for taking car on ferry, fee for returning car dirty ,and hundred other possible fees.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: They have charged me 490 Euros for a small dent on the door, that I ignored when the picked up the vehicle as it seemed trivial to mention, along with other small and barely visible damage, like I always do with other rental providers. I never had any issues, but Avia insisted they will charge me for it.

Cons: Didn’t honour the price shown on the website! Charged about 30% more at the pick up!

Pros: Great service, easy pick up and drop off, new car

Pros: Picking up the car

Cons: See above

Pros: Great service, I'll be Back and recommend it to all my friends

Pros: Easy and straightforward

Cons: Car had bad smell inside

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: They have not accepted your voucher and they they charged me: - for rent a car - for late pick up 80€, - for early dropping of 80€, - winter tires 70€. They have not been service minded and guy was rather unpleasant!

Pros: They were great

Pros: they were very efficient

Pros: 30 days to release deposit is a joke and I am sure unlwaful.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing to tell

Pros: It's easy to find the Avia counter in the terminal, we waited a bit for the representative. Once it arrived, everything went quickly. We extended insurance through Avia. We received a car that we ordered, in excellent condition, clean. Our trip was to Slovenia and we informed the rental company about this in advance and we were required to pay a fee of 80 €.Back at the airport, we got confused with the signage for the car return location, but the representative was patient and waited for us.

Pros: Not good. There was nobody at the kiosk when we were picking up the car. Also nobody there when we were returning it. It would have been nice if they at least had a note on the door indicating when they would be back and where they were.

Cons: When we went to pick up the car there was nobody there and the doors were locked. After about 15 minutes and not knowing what to do 2 guys showed up. They showed us nothing about the car and left in a hurry. Car was scratched up and had dents all over.

Pros: Correct, but nothung special

Cons: Missing knoledge about cars features

Cons: Loads of hidden costs totally unexpected

Pros: Very nice representetives and even got an upgrade for free

Cons: Drop-off was not that clear, niether the location and niether the way of drop-off

Pros: Very helpful staff with good English.

Cons: They didn't have the car we ordered and we had to take a very small one

Pros: The agent was very clear and thorough about terms and requirements for the rental.

Cons: Had to figure out how to let the agent that we were waiting at the rental desk. It took a bit to figure out the exact way to dial the phone number on the sign on our cell phone. Apparently one of the digits shown was not required.

Pros: Nothing. They weren't there, I had to overpay for another service at a competitor

Cons: They were not there. I never got my car.

Pros: There wasn't anything that stands out with their service, there is so much room for improvement

Cons: Car inspection at pick-up and drop off. Also they didn't recognize the full car coverage insurance that I paid when I booked the car at Discover Cars site.

Cons: Drop off out of hours charge

Pros: great service

Cons: nothing

Pros: No complications, car in good condition, I was even given a car upgrade.

Cons: Just because I arrived to the pickup desk 30 minutes prior the pickup time, they charged one extra day...but when I delivered it 2 hours before the delivery time, they didn't care and no reimbursement was possibel!

Pros: The car was ok

Cons: Only one person covering car pick up and drop off. Ridiculously long wait time at pick up. Being charged extra 80 euros to spend 1 day in Slovenia.

Pros: Quick communications via email, desk agent was the best we ever had with other suggestions of things to do in the area

Pros: Good value for money

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Terrible service,
