A2S Car Rental at Corfu Airport

Pros: Fast process, good car.

Cons: Price was very out there but we had to get full coverage for where we were driving

Pros: Very friendly staff. Efficient pick-up and return of the car. Fast deposit return.

Cons: The car was not in the best technical condition, e.g. the side mirror adjustment mechanism was damaged. Very poor car equipment: I understand that you can't expect miracles from the A segment, but the lack of Bluetooth is a bit too much.

Pros: As said, drop-of went fast, staff was friendly.

Cons: On arrival car was not ready, took a long time before the car was ready. Car was smaller then expected, staff said it was the same category…

Pros: The shuttle bus to and from the airport terminal was very helpful. Once at the office the service was quick and efficient.

Pros: Staff clearly communicated the rules. Prices were very clear

Cons: They have significantly outdated cars. One of our two cars, a Fiat Panda didn't even have a working radio. We requested an alternative car and was told there was nothing available. Had a small scratch on one of our cars, the worker told us they always claim extra so that the insurance company approve claims quicker (the price they quoted was for changing the whole bumper)- Doesn't seem so ethical.

Pros: Friendliness and polite service at the counter and during shuttle service.

Cons: No key drop-off in the morning or late at night.

Pros: We exited the airport rather quick (fast immigration and no checked bags) so they weren't there. Called them and 5mins later they were there. Incredibly friendly and didn't push to sell anything more. Car was great, worked perfectly and was clean. Drop off was just as smooth. The three people we were in contact with at A2S were all very welcoming.

Cons: Car had defective touchscreen so could not use navigation. We asked for car replacement but was informed it's not possible.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, all the paperwork and car inspection was professionally done in 10 minutes. Everything worked on the car except the remote which didn't bothered me. Transfer to and from the airport is free and it lasts around 5 minutes. I had a small car - Suzuki Splash, 1L motor. Please be aware that this car will consume around 8.5 - 9 L / 100 Km because of the AC and road conditions (driving in mountain area into 2-nd gear)

Cons: The quality of their baby chairs for hire felt basic and old. Staff knowledge about the baby chairs they had available was limited.

Cons: We thought a shuttle would wait for us in the airport but it turned out we needed to call the agency to come collect us. It was not a big issue except we did not know so it took us a while to figure that out. Luckily, we could make a local call but if you can't, that might be a problem.

Pros: Incredible service and price from them! Lovely staff on pickup and drop off, even drove us into the old town when we asked after dropping off. Great price and staff!

Cons: The car kept sending error messages. The last day the car battery died, we couldn't start the engine. We had to wait more than an hour to be taken to the airport. We couldn't return the car with full tank as it hadn't started before we dropped it off, but the officials not only apologised for the inconvenience, but also wanted to make us pay a fine for not having returned the car with a full tank. The whole procedure was disappointing.

Sofia reassured me that the deposit of EUR 650 was to be released from my card within 3-5 days. 4 week later it's still 'on hold' in spite me sending Sofia reminder emails. I never even got an apology for the poor service. I will not use A2S again !
