Pros: They picked us up at airport and dropped us off at airport after stay. The car was as expected - it had some minor scratches etc., but they were very upfront about those, showed them to us and insisted we photograph them. They even insisted on loading our rental car with our suitcases as well as helping with unloading.

Cons: Their service was very complain about.

Pros: First car provided had issues but when I contacted the agent they provided a replacement vehicle to my apartment within the hour even though I was a fifty minute drive away. Exemplary response, thank you.

Cons: They don't have an office at the airport, the service included a transfer from the airport to their office and back. We did not take both transfers, cos we were not on/to the airport. When returning, we asked to be taken to the beginning of the city, not to the airport (both are about 2-3 km away and it was 30+ degree outside) and they asked us for an additional fee. Business is business and people are not in the first place in it:) 2-3 weeks are too much for returning a deposit of 1200 EURO.

Pros: Met outside Corfu Airport by Dirent displaying their company name. Was at the hire car depot in 5mins. Dirent surveyed the car in detail and pointed out all imperfections (most of which I couldn't even see!). I was even invited to video the survey - Very reassuring. On return, the car was given a similar check and no issues found. Contract signed before we were whizzed back to the airport. One of the best & most professional car hire experiences.

I liked they have sofas in front of the offices so you have a comfy place to sit while waiting (there was a lot of waiting!) I have a lot of things I did not like (other companies - or rather other locations than Corfu in general - work better imho), but overall, the rental was okay and with no major issues.

Cons: (1) We ended up being served by a different company, ValuePlus. I consider this as a scam - we ordered from Dirent, look for their reviews, and then end up someplace completely else! (2) Pick-up took soooo long. There were too many people at a time, and only two offices. (3) There are 4 more things I did not like, but this form does not allow me to write such a long review.

Cons: The instructions weren’t correct when I landed at Corfu; on arrival I was asked to enter the office and then told to step outside while they served another customer. I was given an old car (which I thought was fine because of the price I paid); on departing the rental property I felt the cars quality was poor and the brakes were very loose.

Cons: The agent did not want to rent me the car because the country where my driving licence is from is not on a specific list she had. She did not want to help me at any time and had a condescending attitude. I cancelled and was immediately able to rent a car with another company - smoothly and without any problems. I have hired cars in the past in Europe and USA and this is the first time this has happened. All in all, an unnecessary experience when landing on a beautiful island like Corfu.

I was nervous that we would be tricked into paying an excess for a mark we had missed, no bigger than a pin head, but this proved unfounded. The car was basic. It sounded terrible when you turned it on. I'm not a mechanic but it sounded like the clutch was on its way out.

This is not the case and I had to make a phone call to find out who the renter was in order to find the bus. Probably I didn't pay sufficient attention to small print but it may be helpful to others to state in bold print who the rental company is to facilitate transport to the car.
