Dublin Airport Car Rental

Airport Car Rental

Get your rental car at Dublin Airport! Then drive into downtown Dublin—there’s plenty to see and do. Go to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, take in the architecture, and visit the Dublin Writers Museum, the National Museum of Archeology, or the National Gallery of Ireland. For a change of pace, take a stroll through one of the city’s beautiful parks and botanical gardens.

Looking for day trip ideas? How about a drive to Dublin’s suburbs, such as Donnybrook or Ballsbridge, for some boutique shopping and a leisurely lunch? If you’re up for an adventure, drive your rental to Ireland’s dramatic coast—Killiney Beach, Silver Strand, and Ladies’ Cove are all within an hour of the city.

Dublin’s a great destination, but Ireland has even more to offer. Why not get a longer term car rental and keep on exploring? You can drive down to Cork, get a feel for Irish Gaelic culture in Galway and West Coast, or go to Northern Ireland and its capital, Belfast. You can even pick up your rental car at Dublin Airport and drop it off in a different city. Start planning your Irish adventure today!

Dublin Airport is also known as Aerfort Bhaile Átha Cliath.

I thought that Dublin was going to be just a nightmare to navigate around. At first, it was unnerving, as the streets in Dublin are usually bumper-to-bumper traffic. Also, another thing to note is that the street signs are right at the intersection. Also, the highways are all narrower; there's only room for exactly one car per lane, with no room for error. it's a different highway system than it is in the U.S. That isn't to say that the streets are impossible to master as a foreigner. Once you get used to it, driving around Ireland can be both challenging and fun. But it is not recommended for beginner drivers, as the native drivers aren't always considerate of inexperienced drivers (particularly within Dublin).
