We've been named a Silver Winner in the 2023 Magellan Awards
The DiscoverCars.com Blog has been named a Silver Winner in the 2023 Travel Week Magellan Awards in the Online Travel Services Marketing-Blog category — the second year in a row. We were also a Gold Winner in the Website Category.
The Magellan Awards are a little different than other awards. There is no online voting — instead, a group of industry professionals judges the entries. Only the best of the best are awarded their Silver or Gold awards.
We've spent the better part of the past four years providing travelers with up-to-date, useful information about renting a car for their road trips. Our series of guides about traveling around certain countries with a rental car has been the most popular — Your Guide to Traveling Around Italy with a Rental Car is a good example.
We've also published many articles with general information about renting cars. We've updated our popular article How to Make Sure You Have the BEST Rental Experience with even more pieces of advice to help travelers avoid any and all unpleasantries when renting a vehicle.
We've published even more travel-related analyses this year. One great example is The Most Obscure Attractions Around the World. In that article, we compiled lists of off-the-beaten-path destinations both around the world and in the US.
Our content team plans to continue putting out both useful information to help travelers prepare for their future trips and interesting analysis of travel-related topics — so hopefully, we'll move up to be a Gold Winner next year!
