The DiscoverCars.com Blog Is a Silver Winner in the 2022 Magellan Awards
in the Online Travel Services Marketing-Blog category
The DiscoverCars.com Blog has been named a Silver Winner in the 2022 Travel Week Magellan Awards! Our company was also a Gold Winner in the Website Category.
The Magellan Awards are a little different than other awards. There is no online voting — instead, a group of industry professionals judges the entries. Only the best of the best are awarded their Silver or Gold awards.
This is the first major award that our blog has won. We've spent the past three years providing travelers with up-to-date, useful information about renting a car for their road trips. Our series of guides about traveling around certain countries with a rental car has been the most popular — Your Guide to Traveling Around Italy with a Rental Car being the most read.
We've also published many articles with general information about renting cars. One more recent piece — How to Make Sure you Have the BEST Rental Experience — gives our best advice for what you should remember so that you don't have a lackluster time renting a car.
Being a large rental comparison company, we have significant amounts of data about, and insight into, the global car rental market. We've put together a whole section about the car rental industry data and statistics and hope that it will be useful to journalists and bloggers writing about it.
Though this was our first award specifically for our blog, our entire Growth Team was the In-House SEO Team of the Year in the 2021 Search Engine Land Awards.
Our content team plans to continue putting out the latest useful information to help travelers prepare for their future trips — so hopefully, we'll move up to be a Gold Winner next year!
