Try to avoid beach resorts at the coastal area and book a hotel or accommodation inland instead. It is much quieter and any beaches are accessible within 20-30 min. The best none commercial natural beaches like somewhere at Caribic to be found at north area near Betlen or Arta.

Well we were in the outer season, so there werent as many visitors as in mid season, so it was easy to drive around and find parkinglots everywhere.
Pretty landscape all over the island. Beautiful ports and beachpromenades. Great food all over at a decent price
Narrow roads in the countryside and the mountains and there is an incredible vast amount of cyclists who thinks they are obligated to cycle anywhere even wrong side of the road.
