Target Rent at Pisa Airport

Pros: All average.

Cons: The car was not the newest. It already had over 40000 km. It was given to me with a quarter of a tank so I had to go look for a petrol station before setting off. The car also has no screenwash in the tank. I had to €20 for final cleaning

Pros: Old Car, many dents, deposit higher than expected and they wanted 50 Euros for cleaning car after usage which was Not Part of the contract (washing NOT die to our usage, General agreement of their Business)

Pros: Terrible service scammers got extra money on the way out as I was late as plane late so charged €70 and tried to get extra money on the way home as car a bit dirty, 3 pieces of straw on floor!

Cons: Unnecessary €20 cleaning charge because there was a little bit of dust on the outside of the car. This felt like a con and left a sour taste in our mouth.

Pros: They seemed to go the extra mile because we waited more than 2 hours for a car and didn’t then charge for the extra driver. They brought us water and coffee which was much appreciated

Cons: They aren't always there, so you need to call them and they arrive in the next 5-10 minutes. They asked us to have the car washed on the return... that was new to us and strange.

Cons: First of all, the reserved amount on my card was higher (it should have been 850 EUR, but they reserved 1000 EUR). Secondly, the terms and conditions stated that I would receive a car with a full tank, but there was only a quarter of fuel left. The agent gave directions to the nearest gas station, but it turned out to be out of order. I had to find a working gas station myself, which really spoiled the mood at the beginning of the trip.

Cons: We got an empty fuel tank. They didn’t register that on their computer but told me to take a picture. Not sure yet if it all worked out correctly. Credit card has not been released yet

Pros: The whole setup felt like a scam, we were being hassled with extra costs at every turn. We were just over an hour after we booked the car and got hit with extra charges. We need to use a different card and got hit with extra charges, they claimed the car was dirty on return and we got hit with extra charges. Ridiculous!!

Cons: Being over charged 100 euros because I had a debit car instead of a credit car to take the deposit. I am pretty sure that was unnecessary. Plus the charge about the cleaniness of the car is at their discretion we used the car in a very dusty dry country we should not expect to return clean as new the term as clean as normal is really unclear there was no rubbish or any stain there where dust and we still got charged

Pros: It was easier than I thought to drop off. But it upset my holiday always worried about the car and finding somewhere to get it cleaned.

Pros: Non abbiamo ricetuvo informazione dove si Trova l’ ufficio. Di solito le aziende di noleggio si trovano all centro autonoleggio , ma nessuno ci ha detto che Target Rent si trova fuori dal centro noleggio . Abbiamo perso molto tempo per aspettare il bus navetta e dopo per tornare indietro e prender la macchina . La ragazza del desktop non era molto eficiente

Cons: The pedantic obtuse process for handing the car back and checking it over in a way that made you feel every mark might cause some ridiculous charge.

Pros: I was charged an additional fee of 60 euros for picking up the car at 19:10 when the rental shop was open until 19:00. I was not informed in advance of such an additional fee and was forced to pay it ... I don't think that is fair

Cons: Only minor, not the company’s fault. But we couldn’t find anywhere to park the car when we dropped it off.

Cons: Only issue is that their Pisa office is not in the building with all the other car rental firms but is actually much closer to the airport - right in front of departures, a few hundred yards underneath the motorway bridge. (Hoping to save others the long fruitless walk that we had...)

Cons: We were told the car needed to be fully cleaned before return. Seriously? We’re on holiday, not partaking in car washing! Regardless, we cleaned the car but the agent still tried to pull a fast one and suggest the car was dirty. I used images I had before and the rationale of us just cleaning it to agree it was NOT dirty. I was also accused of causing marks on the car, which with the photos I took, proved this was not the case. When will these cowboys be regulated?

Cons: We were running late so I rang the desk in Pisa overall we were 2 hrs late at 15.30 ( ie mid afternoon) but we were charged 30 euros extra we felt ripped off.

Pros: Not indicated, 1 hour to find it. Our group had reservation: 2 didn’t receive voucher, so didn’t no where to go. We went to companies and companies to find the reservation. First gruop find quiet quickly. The 2 others spent almost 1 hour to find Tergent rent. When arrived the didn’t have the reservation of the one without voucher. The need 1 hour to find it in E-mail spa…i tried to call you: no telephome Numbers, i sent you a mail: i received reply after 2 or 3 days. For me you can change job

Cons: 1. Driver's mirror fell off while I was driving! Was very dangerous driving without it. All attempts to contact the car hire place failed. When I returned the car and complained, they tried to say I did it; the man was extremely rude. 2. The satnav, that cost extra, would not charge, so was useless

Cons: Car seat was a problem, 1st one was broken and didn't seem to understand the workings of the seat. Had to pick another myself, but all were a bit worse for wear.

Cons: There was no one at the drop off point and I was in a rush so I had to run back to the office to drop the keys and did not have time to check with staff that the car was in good conditions. Also, the desk is hard to find as it is poorly advertised among all the other car rentals.

Cons: it said the desk was at the terminal, but it wasn't - it was a shuttle bus away. The name of the company (Target Rental) on the form was not advertised at the desk
