Pick-up instructions
SRC Rent Car office is located in the official car rental area of Firenze Airport. There is a free BUS shuttle that connect the Terminal to the car rental area, you can find it in front of arrival exit of the airport.
Drop-off instructions
If the drop-off our is scheduled at office closing time, it is possible to return your car by leaving the keys in our Keybox. Park the car in SRC parking lots, which you will find marked by our signs in the car rental parking area, exactly at row "F". Please remember to leave the car with full tank and doors locked. Keys should be left in our black Keybox which is located next to the SRC cabin's glass door and marked by the writing "SRC Keybox".

Cons: It was a horrible experience. we were 20 minutes past the 1 hour grace period because of the time it took to get to the rental car location from the airport and because the agent was not at the counter but in another location we had trouble finding. The agent threatened not to rent us the car. We were charged 25 euro for the lateness The 1 hour time period is in the very fine print at the end of the contract. We did not have cell service at the airport to call and tell SRC we would be late

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 86.
Maximum rental age is 85 years.

Cross-border travel is allowed when pick up has taken place in Florence, Milan, Turin.
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, Spain-Mainland, Switzerland, San Marino.
For rental periods of up to 3 days, crossing country borders is allowed for an additional fee of 15 EUR per day.
For rental periods longer than 4 days, crossing country borders is allowed for an additional fee of 18 EUR per day.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
