Drivalia at Florence Airport

Pros: Nothing good about Drivalia

Cons: BAD 24/7 customer assistance service. No one pickup, it was a big LIE! I have called the 24 hours emergency hotline plenty of time in these 2 days, but NO ONE RESPOND to the call, no even once! I was stuck in the middle of the mountain at 2amin the morning as one of the rented car tyres was flat. We felt so helpless because nobody pass by the road in the middle of the night, and we have no idea who to reach to for this emergency case as there wasn’t anyone to pick up the call from Drivalia

Cons: service desk.....very hard to find rental desk...car was dirty and passanger front seat broken,.......

Cons: Drop off instructions non existent. Tried to cash the number provided- no answer

Pros: car was good staff was good location was good

Pros: There were issues with Discover Cars but the drivalia agent was very helpful. The initial car had an issue so we had to wait for another car to be ready which was frustrating

Pros: They did put us into an automatic which was a pleasant surprise.

Cons: There was one person working for the desk for over 30 people. We were supposed to pick up our car at 11 we didn’t get it until 2 pm. It was incredibly slow. The vehicle had huge scratches across the side and there was no one to document that when we got the car.

Pros: The woman was kind and trying her best.

Cons: There was only 1 poor woman working behind the desk. There were 15 people in line. It took 3.5 hours to get the car. It was a terrible situation.

Cons: As mentioned, 3 hours and 30 minutes in line to pick up the car

Cons: The car was not good. Poor acceleration / not good for hilly regions.

Pros: I liked the price and the car was fine for our purposes.

Cons: The car rental booth had no sign indicating to go inside the main building. People were waiting outside and didn’t know where to go. With two agents working, the line was huge.

Cons: They wouldn’t honor one of our reservations. So we were short a vehicle for three days until we could get a replacement at triple the price.

Cons: Long line, 1.5 hours to get car. Florance airport signage is horrible to pick up and drop. Drivalia and other rental agency buildings located in rental area are closed. All doors of buildings including Drivalia are locked. No signage to the buildings they are currently located, 200 meters away. None. You are stuck asking employees where to go.

Cons: Worse experience ever for us renting a car. Can’t believe they are allowed to stay in business at least at the Florence location. I

Pros: The service desk was ridiculous. The one lady was so helpful but clearly over worked and when another man finally showed up , he was rude , bossy and wouldn’t even look at the 20 plus people in line.

Cons: CAR was not inspected at pick up or drop off. Car wasn’t cleaned , gas was not full , they tried to give me an electric- which I specifically had asked not to have. The had to wait 2.5 hours. As mentioned the one lady at the desk was so lovely and polite but she had zero help and when another person came , he was useless and so rude and bossy to her and did absolutely nothing for anyone.

Cons: Spend more then 1 hour and a half to pickup the car; the fuel tank was 3/8 but it was write down it was 4/8 to return the car; the car was not clean; nobody at Drivalia office at Termini Station when I returned the car; tough to find out where to return the car. Asked to neighbor company where to return Drivalia car.

Pros: Drop off in Pisa was very easy and prevented this review from being a 1

Cons: Pick up of the car was awful and condition of the car was bad. Appreciate going for the cheapest option will always have its negatives but it was unacceptable, will never use Sri skis again

Cons: 1. The pickup counter at the address provided was closed. Had to go to a different location. 2. It took 30 min to get the car even though I was first in line. 3. Car was dirty. There was no windshield wiper fluid. Change oil light was on. One tire had low air warning. 4. Got the car with 6/8 gas tank. Returned with 6/8 gas tank. Got charged $68 for gar and fueling service.

Pros: Snelle service, gratis upgrade, moeiteloze drop off op andere locatie en tijd

Cons: Telefonisch niet te bereiken, beter is om langs te gaan

Pros: The representative at the pickup desk was not informative...she did not explain the vehicle gas use...that it had two gas tanks and that GPL was not needed. The gas had engine light when I got it and when I asked she said don't worry. The car she gave me was not powerful for use in hills....very bad service at drop off too...no signs or staff anywhere.

Pros: Nothing!!!! Rude people. Care needed to be serviced and they didn’t tell us. Had to return to rental area only to be told don’t worry about the engine light!!

Cons: I waited on line for over an hour to get the car. When I received the car the gas tank was only 1/4 . I never got paperwork. I did not get the car I reserved, the ticket the agent gave me to get out of the parking lot did not work. I had to go back and get a new ticket.

Cons: The car was unprepared, fuel low, and with constant warning lights and alarms. I was fortunate to suffer a flat tyre during the rental, and the car was swapped for a better one. By I had to exchange it at the airport which wasted a morning.

Cons: Our flight was delayed, so we couldnt get to the agency before close. I tried calling them 20 times that day to inform them and they did not answer. Arrived the next morning and our car had been given away. They said 'the phone doesn't work'. In reality they just don't answer it. They eventually did set me up with a dirty car.

Cons: Gas tank was only 3/4 full when I picked up the car. No agent looked over the car or condition of the car at the time of pick up.

Cons: See above, rude lazy and disinterested staff. It took over two hours and there were only 6 people in front of us.

Cons: The lines are very long and time consuming picking up and especially dropping off. The car I received was dirty inside.

Cons: Car not cleaned prior to collection. Car not assessed between drivers for new damage. Most worryingly, what appeared to be structurally weakening damage to roll bar on car potentially putting our and future customers lives in danger of continuing to lease this car. Would not use again and will be complaining directly to Leasys.

Cons: The car was filthy and I had to do maintenance on it myself. There was a TWO-HOUR WAIT to collect the car. I booked with DISCOVER, only to be sent to LEASYS, made to stand in a crowded corridor for two hours, given no information about the car, the insurance or the procedure. At first there was only one person in the office, later two, when the situation needed TEN.

Cons: Long time to get the car, no refund given for early return, no navigation, CarPlay did not work

Cons: As no clean-up was made I would have expected a discount as I did it by myself.

Cons: No obvious way to drop off the car, no agent around to confirm receipt and therefore a lot of uncertainty about what may happen next.

Pros: I selected Leasys as the car was to be picked up at the airport. I was informed just before I left that this was not the case and it was something of a nightmare getting and dropping the car off

Cons: The operative was so stressed that he was almost throwing the keys at customers. He didn't give me a contract which caused issues when I returned the car. Again, only one person on the desk meant stress for the customers.

Pros: Got upgraded because they didn’t have our cars in stock.

Cons: They close at 8pm on Friday when most flights get in after. They had no one to receive the car at the end of the checkout. My car was dirty. They tried to give me the wrong car. Their system wasn’t working so they had to write down my credit card number. Not secure!!!

Cons: Difficult to find (first went to the unit with the Leasys sign that we passed on the bus only to find it was the wrong place) Jeep was awful. Space for one suitcase in the boot and that was it! Had to squeeze pushchair and other suitcase in the back with the kids. Ridiculous. Car seat wasn’t installed and didn’t have any guidance to get it right. With two hot and tired small kids this was a terrible start.

Cons: Car was smaller than what was requested (500L or Similar and we got a 500X instead). The car was given to me in very dirty conditions. Staff was unavailable by phone during my trip for basic inquiries. Also, directions to drop off site should be provided as it was extremely difficult to find the location.

Pros: Drop off was easy.

Cons: Rental office not easy to find. Not greeted/acknowledged. Waited for an hour in office without AC. Poor communication. Car was dirty inside and out. Radio was locked out. Car was different than advertised and a standard transmission (fortunately we knew how to drive that).

Cons: I received the car with empty fuell tank even though in contract was “full to full” and if course it is impossible to return the car with 0 fuell level, so we lost money. The was a strong smell of tobacco in the car.

Cons: Front tires were under inflated which resulted in very dangerous rolling of the tires on gravel in the mountains. Car was a hybrid but battery pack was broken so it was lacking power and fuel efficiency. Payed for a child seat but got charged extra again when the car was dropped off. A fancy hasn’t been in touch with my email regarding this…
