Cons: I have received a transporter (ford Tourneo) car instead of the compact (VW polo or similar) category I have selected. Car rental stated that they don't have any car in that category and I would have to pay more for any higher category

Cons: Offsite airport pickup in Florence. Car was a little dirty upon pickup. Car had maintenance warning lights that came on during my rental period. Check oil and coolant level indicators come on during our rental.

Cons: The phone numbers given to call the shuttle bus from the airport didn't work. There was an automated Italian message on one of the two but I don't speak Italian so no idea what it said. The other just rang with no answer. Instead we had to get a shuttle to the main car rental place then walk for 15 minutes with heavy bags alongside a busy road with a tiny pavement.

Cons: Communication was poor, you can't get hold of them when something goes wrong. You'll spend a lot of time waiting for transfers from the airport and then waiting at the desk. So don't use them if you need to get somewhere on time.

However, a member of staff happened to be in the car park when we arrived and luckily he very kindly opened up for us. Very grateful for this as it would have been a disaster if we were stranded there with no car and no way of getting to our B&B.

Cons: I would never recommend this company. Waited over three hours for the car. The agent was extremely inappropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable. After three hours wait the first car we were “offered” was absolutely battered and had bumps all over it so we declined, the second was stinking and had to ask for it to please be cleaned only the outside was hosed down and an inappropriate remark was made that he was only doing it for me. Awful, upsetting and terrible customer service!

Pros: Very friendly service. Everything when the way it should. I'm glad we took a video of the car before we left because they tried to question a ding on the TV front that was already there but not in their notes, but the video was enough proof for them so no problem. We got our deposit back after about 6 days.

Cons: You could have better recording of the blemishes on the car. It was only my own video that stopped us being charged for a ding.

Pros: Humor - I struggled to understand how to get from the airport to the rental park. But it was my fault... take the black shuttle not the white one!!! Excellent service.

The office had no agent at time of pickup. We had to wait 15 minutes for agent to arrive 4. Drop off location was not specified. You should tell customers the EXACT drop off address. We were given the wrong address.

Cons: A complete shambles getting the shuttle from the airport. Unclear instructions, poor communication, and no effort made by the company. I ended up getting a taxi to the collection point at my own expense after waiting for an hour. Their instructions were so poor on where to wait - and a lot of stress could have been avoided.

Cons: The car was not full tanken. I didn't have to full it up complete but that is difficult. It was nicer if the tank was full.. But that was the only thing. Everything was good!

Pros: It was quite fast, no longer then 40 min. The car was upgraded for free, as the car I ordered was not available. The car I received was washed, clean inside. The agent Roberto was very polite and prompt. What I observed he was the only one who took the car to the carwash, cleaned it, rented it to me as fast as it was possible. The office was not air conditioned and the other customers who came before me and after were struggling to “keep its cool”. Overall, it was a good value for money for me.

Cons: When I picked up the car in Florence, the representative was extremely rude, did not let me read the contract before signing, and tried to give me a smaller car than I paid for. When I attempted to show him the reservation, he grabbed my phone from my hand and yelled at me, and was borderline abusive. I explained that I needed a car with 5 seats, and he said I could seat 5 people in a 2 door fiat. I asked him to show me the seatbelts and he flipped & lost it. I will be making a formal complaint

Cons: Only negative thing is that the shuttle to and from the rental agency takes very long. The shuttle trip itself is just 5mins from the airport, but it took a long time for the shuttle to arrive. When dropping off the car, it also took a long time for the shuttle to leave.

Car was extremely dirty, inside and outside. They don’t clean cars, they just rince it. There was no windshield washer, when we asked for some they just put water in the reservoir.

Cons: I explicitly picked the agency because I wanted a small car for Italian streets. Instead when I got there they switched me without my say to an SUV and provided no credit. The car also wasn’t cleaned- there were food crumbs and empty water bottles in the car

Disturbing to be asked to sign twice on a phone, where the only thing you can see is a white space where you are supposed to sign.

Cons: There was some confusion when arriving at the airport in Florence. The document said to look for a parking lot called ParkingGo. But there is no such parking lot; you have to wait in front of the main doors at the taxi zone and look for a van with ParkingGo logo on it. So I missed the first car, looking for this imaginairy parking lot and had to wait for a while. But all in all the personel was very friendly and speedy.

They would not allow us to modify the agreement, so we cancelled and rebooked. With Discover cars we got two more days, a better car and more insurance for the original price. The young man who speaks English very well was a great help! The extra deposit held on my credit card was taken off the next day after returning the car.

Pros: Picking up and driving the car was so easy and enjoyable. Getting it back to the drop off location at the Role Airport (after picking it up in Florence) was a nightmare.

Cons: Terrible service. Requested car seats 3 months in advance and they only had 2 in stock, also they gave us the wrong ones, and gave us an infant set with no straps. Also gave us the car with 3/4 of a tank of gas. At drop off, it took about 45 minutes to return the car and for them to drive us to the airport. Also the location is not at the main car rental spot so you have to wait for a special shuttle.

And have on tape the “customer service” that said his name was Cristiano Ronaldo …. How do I make a claim for the full insurance I bought from you??
