Kaizen Rent at Krakow Airport

Pros: Great car, smooth pick up at Krakow AP..

Cons: No way to be found at Warsaw AP! All that was missing was a note at the website or at pickup to look for P34... People today are using NEV apps it's so simple.. The lot itself has a sign so small that you could miss it even when looking at it!

Pros: Best rental experience I ever had, top service, my car developed som engine malfunction during the rental, and Kaizen replaced with bigger and better class of the car. Hustle and stress free holiday. Highly recommend.

Cons: Beware, for some reason if your credit card doesn't have at 6 months left before expiry, they cannot use it and will ask you to pay full insurance. Agent was not able to explain why.

Cons: The agreed price for cross border at the time of my booking couple months ago was 65 euros. I was charged over 80. But what I really didn't like was the return. I asked 3 times by email where exactly and how to return the car. Never got an answer. So I returned it at the same parking garage I picked it up. Then went to the desk at the airport. They accepted the keys, but told me they will check the car later. I do not like not being able to be there, now it's my words against theirs. Not nice.

Cons: There is unusual 6 months credit card validity requirement by Kaizen rent. We had 5 months and the agent would accept it if we pay their insurance but not from discovercars. For that we have to change the driver, meaning phone calls and lost of precious time. Not to mention I had to come to the airport since only physical credit card could be valid for Kaizen. Being threatened with additional cost for car wash that could be charged after return we were wiping the car to shine without any dust.

Cons: Kaizen demanded a credit card with full name on it and handed over the car after an argument. Since my full name is long, the bank only printed my initials and surname. Regardless, the card is legal and registered within the VISA, so I do not get it. I suspect this is to force customers to pay the full insurance.The car was having water, not A/F fluid in the windscreen wash despite of the winter season. Car tyres were worn out to ca 3 mm and car was having issues with grip on slippery roads.

We are so grateful we took full evidence and video of the car after we dropped the car off as this was evidence for them to review and drop the charges, but it was a stressful situation and not one we like to experience again, shame on you

Pros: I didn’t get the car under the pretext of not having a AAA issued International driving license , which is complete nonsense because AAA issues so called International licenses on the basis of the same USA driving license I showed to the agents. Instead they referred me to another rental company that didn’t have problems with my license and rented me a car but for twice the price. I strongly suspect collusion between the companies to jack up the price. Absolutely awful experience

Pros: Excellent customer service. The gentleman at the Krakow branch was friendly, sincere and provided excellent service and support. He is a credit to your company. Also the lady at Wroclaw in charge of drop off was professional whilst being friendly and supportive. Excellent service again.

Cons: The agent who handed the car to me lacked some basic information, like that if I did not return the car with the full tank, I would pay an extra fee of 100 PLN in addition to the fuel cost. He also gave me a piece of paper with handwritten instructions to where the car was parked. I found the car and kept the piece of paper by chance. On the way out of the parking lot I found out that its back was the parking ticket to exit the building.

Cons: The time it took to pick up the car at Krakow airport, it took us almost 50+ minutes, despite providing all the information ahead of the hire.

Vehicle that I was given had already 80K on it, so it was filled with scratches, chips and dents. Fingers crossed that I won't get blamed for some pre existing ones.

Pros: I reviewed a car key and I had to go by myself to another building to find a car because like they said "we don't go with customers" you on your own. Car I got was in new condition. Everything in German language. Americans cars are equipped differently than Europeans. So it got me a little bit to figure out but I did. I been in many countries renting cars,but this is first time, no one assist you to explain anything or even show you where your car is. First 24hr I drove without any docu.

Cons: Next day they send me a email with. During driving car was overheating and after checking, wasn't no coolent. I called CallCenter and must say great people. Got help and everything what I need it. Which I can't say that about Kazien Rent employee,when I returned a car. After explaining what happened, that they probably didn't perform technical control between customers , employee got attitude with me, saying that is brand new car and they didn't have to!! That is very unprofessional.
