Alamo at Krakow Airport

Cons: Not enough signs about location of Alamo

Cons: Final report shows the status of returning car: dirty (outside) and dirty (inside). I dont agree with these assesments. It is expected that car will be retuned in "weather like" conditions (winter covered with salt and summer covered with pollen from the trees and insects on the windsheeld. It should be described as "normal use condition", not "dirty". Also term "dirty" for inside condition is not reflecting regular use and it is expected to vacuum clean inside and wash outside after return.

Pros: Very kind and competent staff. The car was in a great condition. No fuss at drop off.

Cons: We had to wait for an agent at drop off not knowing whether there would show up anytime soon.

Pros: Received car was not the same level or category as the one ordered

Cons: Asked for a better car but was told the the provided car was premium suv category 4x4, whereas it was actually a compact crossover with no 4x4. The experience was great until there was snow on the road with equipped tyres not fit for purposes and the car wheels kept spinning and was not full safe to drive in winter conditions. The lack of 4x4 made the situation worse.

Pros: Professional service.

Pros: Nice clean brand new vehicle.

Cons: boot size was very small relative to what we orderd. the return place of the car was really hard to find, and a return station in city that should have been open until 20:00 was closed when I got there in 19:30 after I verified the hours in a phone call a day before.

Pros: Everything was nice and easy. Car clean and spacious - although we rented touring, we got SUV. So this is as a plus.

Cons: Windscreen washing fluid tank was empty on pick-up.

Pros: Siamo arrivati al desk 10 minuti oltre l'orario limite a causa di un problema al ritiro bagagli. Ci hanno detto che il contratto era scaduto, perso. Ci hanno poi proposto (imposto) un esborso di ulteriori 420 Euro per una vettura diversa da quella desiderata (Toyota Hilux) che abbiamo riconsegnato tre giorni dopo all'areoporto di Varsavia.

Cons: Il supporto del Customer Service telefonico che ci ha aiutato a sostituire l'auto che l'addetto al desk di Cracovia ci aveva assegnato con un aggravio di ulteriori 420 Euro

Cons: They request me additional fee for the full cover and i already paid the full cover online thru “discover cars”

Cons: The employee at the pick-up location was not aware of DiscoverCars' full coverage

Pros: Dropping the car off was easy.

Cons: I was charged an additional drivers fee I wasn’t aware of. The car was filthy inside.

Pros: As per usual an exemplary service ny yhe desk, informative, to the point, no hard sales, also pleasant and speedy.

Cons: I received a dilapidated, poor quality, defective car. Which I had to return. Replacing procedure could have been smoother.

Pros: Very fast, great car, the process is very clear and transparent!

Cons: Need to walk along distance outside in Warsaw airport, all companies not only alamo

Pros: Great friendly staff throughout the entire process and very competitive rates.Car cleanliness, standard of the hire car provided and free upgrade :)

Pros: This was the best car hire experience I have ever had. Experiences fluctuate wildly, but this was a brand new car, pleasant and helpful representatives and no attempt to pin damage on us that we didn’t incur.

Cons: Car was dirty on the outside and quite dented

Pros: Easy way to pick up car and quick return.

Cons: Picked up car had the rear parking sensors and camera installed but no parking sensors at front. Boot size smaller to similar cars from same group. Also Alamo staff tried to force me to buy additional insurance because they said if I have an accident (other party causing it) or car gets stolen I will have to pay for it (even Third Party Liability and Theft Protection was included in the booking price). I am not going to use Alamo again and will advise everyone I know to avoid them too.

Pros: Nice service. Everything is transparent and clear. They did not try to sell extras or unnecessary insurances. Vehicle matches the ordered model and in new and proper condition.
