Cons: Final report shows the status of returning car: dirty (outside) and dirty (inside). I dont agree with these assesments. It is expected that car will be retuned in "weather like" conditions (winter covered with salt and summer covered with pollen from the trees and insects on the windsheeld. It should be described as "normal use condition", not "dirty". Also term "dirty" for inside condition is not reflecting regular use and it is expected to vacuum clean inside and wash outside after return.

Cons: Asked for a better car but was told the the provided car was premium suv category 4x4, whereas it was actually a compact crossover with no 4x4. The experience was great until there was snow on the road with equipped tyres not fit for purposes and the car wheels kept spinning and was not full safe to drive in winter conditions. The lack of 4x4 made the situation worse.

Ci hanno poi proposto (imposto) un esborso di ulteriori 420 Euro per una vettura diversa da quella desiderata (Toyota Hilux) che abbiamo riconsegnato tre giorni dopo all'areoporto di Varsavia.

Pros: Easy way to pick up car and quick return.

Cons: Picked up car had the rear parking sensors and camera installed but no parking sensors at front. Boot size smaller to similar cars from same group. Also Alamo staff tried to force me to buy additional insurance because they said if I have an accident (other party causing it) or car gets stolen I will have to pay for it (even Third Party Liability and Theft Protection was included in the booking price). I am not going to use Alamo again and will advise everyone I know to avoid them too.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 600.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

For vehicles in groups Luxury, Intermediate, Minivan, Premium, Fullsize a driver license issued at least 2 years ago is required.
Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 must provide a driver license that is valid for at least 2 year(s).
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU. A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy


Deductible/excess will be charged per damage.
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: European Union.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

Booked extras are not guaranteed. All extras are subject to availability at the rental counter.

During winter season (from 01.11 until 01.04) All season tires are included in price.
Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 01.11 to 01.04.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 0 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
