Dryyve at Vienna Airport

Cons: Did not realise that I required aIDP which cost me an extra 340 euro's ( for full insurance). Also that a senior over 70 years of age also had to purchase full insurance, this was not mention when I first purchase the car hire. yes it was on the Booking conformation but in very small lettering and very light font, it was not very clear .On investigation other hire companies do NOT insist on IDP or insist that over 70's purchase Full insurance

Pros: Was simply great. Highly recomended because the car was brand new.

Pros: THe car was in excellent conditions, we got a lot of information at the beggining, and we were statisfied with the service. THe process was super easy and fast, they helped me so quickly by email. There was no hidden fee, once I checked the proce, they explained which service is needfull and what is the cost.

Cons: They charged me an arm and a leg extra for not having an international drivers license, then the engine oil light was on and off during our trip. My husband has taken several trips to Europe and never been asked for an international drivers license or forced into extra insurance. Won’t use again.

Cons: They reserved 500€ even though it is mentioned as 1€ in the mail from you. When I asked, they said it will be 1€ only if I take full insurance with them even after I mentioned I have full insurance from DiscoverCars. Also, they charged 50€ as drop off fee as out of hours charge but nothing is there in the mail you sent when I booked.

Pros: I arrived early, the car rental counter officer allowed me pick up the car an hour early.

Pros: The initial price of the car was low. (Later on we learned that the low price will cost us much more - the cheap us expensive.

Cons: Car rental booth was closed when we arrived (we arrived late in the night. They should have had offer us to leave the key in a designated locker in the airport, but didn’t do so. To avoid sleeping on the floor in the airport, we had to pay extra for taxi to our hotel in Vienna city, and then also a taxi for the airport again, to pick up the car. After we returned the car, I noticed extra charge of ~100 EUR, without any explanation. Will dispute this charge. Bad experience - stay away of Dryyve.

Cons: It is absolutely BOGUS to require Americans and Canadians to have and "international driver's license" which is literally a useless little booklet with the same info from your actual driver's license. (If it actually meant something then they wouldn't make you also bring your "real" license as well, would they?)

I find this a scam to have each customer leave a bit extra gasoline (since it’s really impossible to fill exactly half tank, especially if you do not use the first half completely).

And then their intimidation and persuasion begin to purchase another 300 or 400 euros of various insurances... We paid!! Suckers We returned a spotless car, dirty from rain and snow. When we got home it turned out that they charged another 99 euros for cleaning. Simply unparalleled insolence. Shame on the company. Stay away

Pros: The car rental company wasant honest- they didn’t write from the beginning that i dont get roadassist and thet took more money than was agreed with you ant they add 30 eu saing that the car not clean while it was clean like needed when returning a rented car + they didnt said from the beginning that i should wash it! Pros: Nothing really, the company is bad, the service is bad, no phone number for extending the trip, because they know it’s so bad that they don’t want to deal with customers in person, only via email.

Cons: AVOID AVOID AVOID They charge you for not cleaning the car for them, why would I do their job? I pay for the car, not to clean it. Never paid for a cleaning fee before. Feels very scammy, even the guy working knew, he was very embarrassed. They don’t take AMEX because « the number changes » very strange excuse to charge extra money on insurance but still charges your debit card once you’re out of the country. They’re gangsters, go for a real company instead!

Cons: We were given a car with a defective tire, forcing us to stop midway as it was too dangerous to continue on the highway. We called their agent office multiple times, but no one answered. Roadside assistance confirmed the tire was unsafe and advised us to contact the agency for a replacement, but we still couldn’t reach anyone. Stranded, we booked a hotel for the night. The next morning, our calls again went unanswered, so we drove to the Salzburg airport office, where the car was changed.

Cons: Dryyve destroyed my vacation as follows: I got puncher in one tire, things happened 1.There was no spare in the car. 2.Where I called to Road Assistance service, provided by Dryyve, no one arrived. 3.When I called to Customer Service, it was weekend, no one exist.. 4.As a result, 2 days from 4 I was without car .

Cons: In addition to the 250 euro extra that I been charged, they charged me with an extra 20 euro for low level fuel. I got refunded after supporting my request with evidence.

Cons: not so good communication from the car rental agent, information in the rental contract regarding the car status (nr. of Km and gas level) were not accurate and I had to come back to the rental desk to notify this details and ask the agent to rectify in the contract.

Pros: I was very unhappy with the services of the company - they include hidden charges, which are not clear upon booking - such as out of hours charge of 99 EUR which applies when you plane is not arriving on time and you show up even 1 minute late

Cons: There was nobody to hand over the car in the evening, when it was dark and I missed there was a scratch on the car, which was later attributed to me and this required me to pay additional charges. When I tried to explain I could not see it in the late evening when I received the car, the agent told me not to worry because I do not have to pay anything for that. Later I have however received the invoice with a number of charges, so I was mislead when handing the return the car.

Pros: Pick-up was fairly quick (lucky there was no queue when I arrived, one formed behind me as there was only one agent working) Rental price is very competitive.

Cons: Don't like dropping off cars without anyone checking them & confirming all ok. Returns cabin had signs saying they were open 8-8, but not a soul to be seen at 2:30pm. Lots of cars 'parked' (some just abandoned in roadways)

Cons: The car was not on the place where it should be - I had to double check the parking, come back to the desk just to find out, that the car is at the return area. Lost 30 min. The deposit for rental is ca 10% of a car value, the biggest I ever had to place.

Pros: It was easy to return the car late at night, after the service hours. next day we got a message confirming that everything was o/k,  and they returned the 2000 euro that were blocked in our credit card.

Pros: The company, Dryyve made me pay 99€ to go to Hungary with the car, however discovercars did not highlight that additional cost on their page, doubling my cost of rent for 3 days. Also, the company is Hungarian, the car is Hungarian with Hungarian documents, yet I had to pay 99€ to go from Austria to Hungary.
