Pros: Nothing they were terrible

Cons: Everything. I will be claiming a full refund. Ruined my trip

Pros: They are hardworking but efficient - with an inability to handle the volume of business (at times)

Cons: No one to approve your returned car. However they are honest and don’t try to charge you for extras when you had to leave your car unexamined in order to catch a flight.

Pros: The price was good, considering I rented an SUV in Puglia during the peak summer season, so that's fine. I also appreciated the online customer service (customerservice@drivalia.com) when I asked them to provide a report attesting to the good condition of the car I dropped off at the airport early in the morning, when the office was closed. I also appreciated how quickly the security deposit was refunded to my credit card.

Cons: The lady at the counter spoke too quietly, behind a glass without amplification, it was hard to understand her. She was annoyed about having to repeat herself and treated customers as if they couldn’t understand. Long queue and a wait of about an hour at the counter. The contract was never sent via email, I discovered the damages to the car at the parking lot. There, no one was available to clarify why the fuel level was at 90% instead of full. The car was also dirty.

Cons: Staff unhelpful. Given keys inside airport and told to find car in a large carpark- no staff or assistance. Car was filthy inside and outside. Petrol tank was not full as should be. Huge queue inside the airport so didn’t have time to wait and report as only one staff member inside cabin and no options. When returning car again no assistance or proper checkout. Received a bill for an extra day car hire when I returned the car as I should earlier than time I booked. Awful experience.

Pros: Not very much. Counter staff were obviously not interested in providing any kind of service, and appeared to be ready to go home.

Cons: The car was dirty, the windscreen was dangerously filthy (inside!!) and made driving very difficult on the first night, the car was rented with a tyre warning, and it was half full of fuel despite the contract document saying it was full. Discover cars were notified and failed to respond or take any action. Terrible service.

Cons: The car fuel was not full to full. This makes it impossible to have it the same level as they gave me the car. Hence having to spend more money to fill it. Back door drivers side had a sticker on it saying do not open!! As I was meeting friends who were leaving my house I had no time to go back and question this. The car was not clean inside with water marks in the passenger seats. Generally poor condition.

Nobody escort me to pick up the car and presence of big damage on the exteriori of the car not written in the contract. once i dropped off the car, dorpping the key at the drop Box, theu sent me an invoice asked me to pay for damaged i've never made.

Pros: Shocking, team were rude, no pre checks on the damage of the car performed on collection, we were left to wonder around a car park to find the car, the car was filthy in side, sand every where, spoke to the Drivalia team who responded ‘I have seen worse’ Cars Bluetooth did not work - never again!

Cons: When they don’t have you car model they give you an “equivalent” which is lower quality (also cheaper in the website) than the originally booked car.

Cons: We queued for 2 hours to get the key of the car, and we were asked to "go and find" the car in the car park. After we found it, we drove back home. The car was old and awful. There were damages not reported in the car report so when we asked what to do, the agent said to take the pictures and that we would have been fine. We drop off the car and were charged 300 euros for the damage which we did not make, we made more than 30 calls to talk to Drivalia and no one ever answered the phone.

Pros: We have not had cars from Drivalia when using Discover card. When we picked up the car we were told it was parked in the general car park, after half hour of us and representative searching for it it was eventually located where it should of been cleaned and ready for us. However I noticed when returning car they have allocated parking pick up and return facilities now so hopefully that will not happen again.

Cons: It may be policy but when I tried to add my name as additional driver as after arriving my husband was taken ill and admitted into hospital . I was told it was not possible. because the contract had started however I was quoted 3x the amount of original car price to hire another directly from them . I hired another with a different company for a lot less and then went on line and hired one for a further week with Drivilia for a substantial lot less than quoted at the desk.

Cons: Not your fault but the car, an upgrade was a dud. A DR4 it was totally unsuitable for the narrow streets of southern Italy. It was also very heavy on petrol costing me €120 for 11 days

Pros: Slow agents took almost 2 hours to collect the car and then the car with 9 seats wasn't there so we had to all squeeze into a 7 seat car

Cons: Car they did give us was dirty and hadn't been cleaned after the last user. Collect ling the car was chaos and took 2 hours of queueing with 3 childrbin35 degree c heat and then when we got served they didn't have the car despite the fact we had paid fully beforehand to confirm the 9 seater would be there.

Cons: The car was dirty outside, but very clean inside. Hybrid car with problems to the electric battery, but this does not impacted on the ICE engine, which worked perfectly. Great value for money anyway

Cons: the car was not the cleanest when we got it, but we got it very quickly. So it wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

Pros: Easy to find as we chose a rental car within the aiport. Reservations were ready and everything was pretty fast.

Cons: I wish the agent had told us that the car was hybrid as it ran on both gasoline and GPL. We figured that out after our first fill up when some lights started beeping and turning red. We stopped at a gas station and the attendant was nice enough and explained that this particular car could run on both. Of course he told us to use GPL as its much cheaper.

Cons: They were painfully slow and supplied me with half a tank of fuel. I reported this and was told to retun it half full, which I did but they have now charged me re-fuelling costs!!

Cons: The tank was half full of fuel, we took a picture, the paperwork said it was full. We asked an agent and they said bring it back half full. We did and got charged for the fuel, refuel fee and vat. I phoned them at their main office in Italy on my return to get a refund. Although I had photographs to support my claim they said they would look into it and although I call again twice they did nothing.

Na 1 dag heb ik olie bij moeten gooien omdat het lampje brandde. Inleveren waa niet goed doorgesproken. Ook niet duidelijk op de site te vinden . Borg is nog steeds niet vrijgegeven sinds 10 dagen. Niet te bereiekn voor contact. Telefoon/ sms/ mail. Ook via de manager Niet bereikbaar. Misschien een keer pech maar ip voorlopig even geen Drivalia.

Cons: We queued fir 3 hours to collect our car upon arrival. The car was dirty inside and clearly hadn't been cleaned, needed air in tyres and windscreen wash immediately. The communication was poor and unclear. We have received a road tax bill after use which we were not aware of.

Cons: Drivalia agent at the desk was very unhelpful. He gave me a much bigger car than I had booked because there was no availability of small cars. Then when I refused to drive the SUV he gave me a very dirty and damaged small car without printing a contract.

Cons: The car had many warnings, including 2 tire pressure alerts and electrical charging plug alert. We called the support desk, call center was very responsive. The agent gave us a few numbers of offices that can help us but it was impossible to reach them for 2 days. we gave up. We specifically picked a hybrid car, but it was not possible to charge. Car had damages all around. Overall, it was not a pleasent experience.

Cons: It took forever to pick up the car, almost 2 hours. Only one desk open. I would chose another (smaller) provider next time.

Pros: Awful. We spent two and a half hours standing in a queue. The Drivialia agent spent approx 15 minutes with each customer. The paperwork I signed took me a minute, the rest of the time the agent spent processing it and him and his colleagues didn't seem in a hurry either. Surely they know what flights are coming in and prepare the necessary information for you to simply sign,take a key and go. I would pay more and use another rental company next time

Cons: Inefficient service - 2 hours waiting to get keys for car. No marking of damage on the contract form despite scratch damage to both sides of car and a dent on left wing. Had to spend more time waiting to find a representative to come and sign off all the damage. Very amateur set up with young employees.

Cons: My brother booked with locauto which allowed you to input driver details in advance online. He picked up his car more quickly.

Pros: They upgraded the car immediately as the car they had for us was automatic and my daughter had never driven this before.

Cons: very good service but oh dear the wait at the desk is never ending...Lack of staff at the desk as only one person who took at least 20 minutes with one customer; We were very stressed by the situation at drop off as we had a plane to catch...Obviously!!!! The desk opened at 8am and our flight was at 9:20 so we were already tight on time but goodness me the wait was terrible!!!!

Cons: Our flight was delayed meaning we were late arriving. When we arrived at our destination the car hire office was shut. We tried to ring Drivalia before our departure from London many times to warn them of our late arrival but nobody picked up. Also we had Discovery Cars email them to warn them of our late arrival. Fortunately all the other car hire companies had remained open and we were able to hire a car for the evening to get us to our accommodation ( 80 euros).

Pros: the drop off was very easy and quick.

Cons: at first we were assigned a dirty and broken car, but after talking to the agents there, we got another car, which was great.

Pros: I bought an insurance (full option) in discovercars, it is written on voucher, and rental agent didn't want to sell me another one proposed by Drivalia. That was expected behavior by me. In addition, I got a car of a higher class than I ordered for the same price, and that was unexpected by me.

Cons: Long queue supported only by 1 and second (from time to time) person.

Cons: We travelled with another family who booked a car from Drivalia via booking.com. They were supposed to receive the car after their flight two days before ours. At Drivalia checkin they were told there were no cars available and were not offered any other car or compensation. This was very late at night. Drivalia are refusing to engage with Booking.com but have told booking.com that our friends were late for pick up rather than not having a car for them. I would never use Drivalia again!!!!

Cons: Problem with faulty petrol cap not opening and so unable to refuel and had to call the office several times, but with no real assistance fromthem. In the end, we had to find a garage ourselves and pay them £20 Euros to enable us to open the petrol cap, but even then, only by pulling removing the interiro side panel from the boot and pulling a wire to release the petrol cap. As a reult of this, we lost 1 whole days use of the vehicle and are seeking some compensation/reimbursement for this.

Cons: The car that was supplied was an older Jeep Compass that had 12 separate damage listing's on It. The car itself had had over 64,000 km on the odometer. The drop off point in Matera was difficult to find as was situated in a car dealership. I would not rent a car from Drivalia again.

I wonder how many times they pull this trick to pay for repair for a damaged pile of crap! And no one even bothers to go over the controls with you!
