Ecovia at Brindisi Airport

Pros: staff amazing

Pros: Not hard sell at the counter. Clear, friendly.

Cons: Better if the explained what they considered a scratch before I spent 40 mins photographing and documenting.

Pros: Ecovia would not let me rent the vehicle with a drivers license from the United States. I had to go find another car company that would which cost a significant amount of additional money.

Cons: They should have told me before rather than denying me at the counter.

Pros: Problème de communication entre DiscoverCar et Ecovia, il y a 1 mous j ai demandé à DiscoverCardeprendre possession de la voiture à Bari et non Brindisi Rien n a été fait, je le suis retrouvée sans voiture. A l aéroport de Bari Ecovia m a dit qu ils ne pouvaient pas m aider et que si je voulais une voiture ce serait 900euros minimum! C est l agence Sixt à côté qui m a aidée J ai payé à DiscoverCars/Ecovia 331 euros Claim en cours + 1000 euros avec Sixt pour avoir un véhicule !

Pros: Fast pickup and return. Car in good condition.

Cons: They try to make you pay some (unnecesary) extra money at the pickup office and if you refuse they get unfriendly

Pros: Literally nothing - obvious attempt to "sell" right from the start, including insisting insurance included was not actually included (despite me showing the confirmation with it in writing) and supplying a car that was significantly bigger and more expensive than booked.

Cons: The car was dirty on pick up. On return I was not allowed to park in normal spaces but was instructed to park alongside the Autovia/Ecovia office with the passenger side facing full sun. The staff then 'cleaned' one specific area of the passenger-side and pointed to what they described as vegetation scratches. The staff made no attempt to clean any other part of the car. Clearly a scam and currently under dispute with my credit card company.

Pros: Nothing, poor experience. Located in a building near the terminal, however tucked into a small corner with poor signage. Car offered was smaller than ordered.

Cons: Unfortunately, the service offered by Ecovia was sub-par and I would not recommend or re-use them. Due to an error, we required to change the main driver on the booking and had all necessary documentation and credit card ready at pick up. The agent was very unhelpful, providing no flexibility to make the change and attempted to capitalise on the situation with a new booking, to cost 4x the original cost. The agent even appeared gleeful that we were to be stranded with a 5-month old baby at 11pm.

Pros: I couldn't rent the car

Cons: I had to wait about 15 minutes at the desk because there was a queue of customers

Pros: Office is well situated inside the terminal, in the car rental area. Damage report is well done.

Cons: The cars they have are old and definitely bad maintained, please consider other alternatives in Brindisi Terminal that comes -more or less- at the same price.

Pros: Nothing, they simply got more money from the fact that we had no option but to pay more and take the bigger car.

Cons: Everything, read other comments, not satisfied at all.

Cons: Car was not of the equivalent to Citroen C5 which I booked. Gave me a Peugeot 2008 which is smaller and significsntly smaller luggage space. Plus initial rental car had wheel beRing failure. So I had to return to the airport and exchange. Nonsense about paying extra so that credit card could be free from a damage reserve,caused me confusion

Cons: On collection, car rental agent was rude, u helpful, and completely uninterested in doing her job. Given a car that was not remotely like what we had ordered, or even close to being a like for like alternative. She did not come to the car with us. We were told, ‘up there and left’. She did not tell us if it was petrol or diesel, she did not do a walk around of the car and it was filthy. No spare tyre. Told that the extra cover purchased through discover cars did not cover us for anything.

Cons: Staff Too forceful about taking out extra insurance when we didn’t need it. Left to our own devices to find & work out car operations! No explation or simple map showing how to leave & return car from rental.

Cons: Pick up in dark . we had to photograph the previous damage. We did so as good ad possible consodering ghd circunstances. Returni g the car they found a non reported damage / scratch. explanation not possible and we had to catch our flight.

Pros: Clean, modern car and trustworthy company as it seems. Good value for money. Drop off easy.

Cons: The time spent to pick up was the longest I have ever had. We landed at 9pm after a long day driving and flying. We waited well over an hour in a queue and were not shown to the vehicle nor taken through the vehicle checks. Only one person on desk and 3 different branches of the company. Really poor first impression and service.

Pros: Straight forward, no hassle, just the usual visual car checks before taking delivery of rental car. Efficient and great value. Would highly recommend them. Will use them again.

Pros: The staff was friendly and efficient. No lines at Brindisi airport while picking up the car nor Lamezia Terme while returning They did not try to sell their own insurance because I had the insurance provided by discovercars. Car return was fluid and it felt like Ecovia staff could be trusted. Car was nice and clean considering that I rented the cheapest option. The security deposit was unblocked quickly and I could see the money in 4 working days which was nice.
