Pros: I was worried that Target rent is some distance from the airport but shuttle service very efficient and the car can be dropped off in a special parking area at the airport at the end of the rental period.

Cons: No user manual in car. Tyre pressure hadn't been checked before we picked up the car so a warning light came on during the rental period.

Pros: Very friendly and efficient. When I noticed a small unreported damage to a wheel, they quickly updated their computer and emailed me an updated report.

Cons: We had to wait 10 minutes for the shuttle bus to arrive and then drove for another 10 minutes. As long as people expect up to 20 minutes from airport to car then everything else went smoothly.

Pros: The car was ready for pick up. It was clean and functioning properly. Car was not very old, so it was fun to drive.

Cons: The contact numbers provided by them are sometimes busy for a long time or switched off. Most of the staff does not speak English, so it was difficult to explain them to arrange the shuttle service for pick up and drop. I feel they deliberately miss out some existing scratches and dents on the car. Its better to examine the car and take photos/videos of the car from inside and outside and request to update the contract if anything damage is found which is not already marked in the contract.

Pros: We ordered a medium sized automatic and were given a brand new car. Full marks. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The check in was very good, and shuttle back to the airport was efficient.

Cons: The pick up and check out was too long - over 2 hours. The directions on how to access SS16 were very poor - all it takes is some signage. We had to ask a person outside the Target Rent premises, otherwise we would have entered SS16 the wrong way!

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, boarding pass.
Deposit and deductible policy

Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.

By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 15.04 in the following regions: South Tyrol.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.

The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 59 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
