Cons: Looks like Car provided had just come out from accident repair panel shop i guess as it was still having all marker notes on Windscreen..car was very worst to drive hard acceleration very uncomfortable to drive i had to manage as I needed car immediately and had no other option. Floor mats were all muddy looks someone walked in with muddy shoes. This mud is not a problem but for me i felt car was unsafe to drive. Better to go for bigger and new car test it there before you ride it out.

Cons: We waited for an hour for collection from Brisbane International Airport, still no one arrived so we caught an Uber at our cost to the Bargain Rentals office. Upon arrival we were shocked to see a queue of people snaking out of the office. There were many other disgruntled customers who had also made their own way to the office at their own cost after waiting and not being collected. The wait time in the line to collect the rental was around another 45 minutes.Not a great start to the holiday

The fan belt squealed, the brakes sometimes made a grading sound, in the key fob had the symbols rubbed off it so we couldn't tell whether we were locking or unlocking the car. But we forgave these disadvantages because the price was so low.

Impossible to get hold of over the phone. Poor service, and on pickup they tried to promote their own insurance policies in preference to the insurance bought via the booking site.

Cons: When I collected my car I was asked if I wanted to take out the extra protection. I declined as my travel insurance covered the rental excess. It was at this stage that I was advised that if I did not take out the protection that if the car was written off that I would be liable for the full cost of the car. I did question this was told it was this Car Rentals policy. I felt that I had no choice but to pay the additional $364.88. I left the office feeling that I had actually been scammed.

Also received a defect fine from police as left hand front tyre was not roadworthy. Also lots of little damage all over the car that needed to be documented/photographed before moving off. Insurance paid seemed to be almost a formality given what needed to be paid for "full cover" Bait and switch.

High numbers of people waiting for transport from the airport to Bargain Cars meant that the main driver had to be taken in a shuttle first, with the passenger to supposedly follow in the next shuttle. The passenger finally got on the 4th shuttle that was sent after waiting for an hour. Also tred on one of the tyres was minimal. In NZ the car would not have passed a warrant of fitness.

Cons: Very poor communication for meeting shuttle bus. Was supposed to receive text with instructions, never got one, this happened to several other people we spoke to during the long wait period. Very long wait in line & processing paper work on pickup, nearly an hour. Had to wait for car to be finished being cleaned from last users.

Pros: The staff at the counter was nice and friendly. Was a quick process to pickup and drop off car. Good pickup and drop off shuttle service.

Cons: Every now and then warning lights would come on the dash. When rung them they said not to worry about it. Someone forgot to reset the screen. The cruise control didn't work on the car either. Try ring them and you can be on the phone for ages and would finally give up before they would ever answer. They have an option of call back but I got a call back 2 days later.

Pros: Great once we sorted out the Aus SIM card and could arrange an airport pickup.

The staff told us not to worry they will upgrade our car if we can't fit our luggage she even came to check on us if we ok. Pros: This is a legitimate company operating close to the airport with great prices on rentals.

Cons: Nothing against the rental company, just with the car model. I reserved a mid size SUV. The model was a MG. The car was clean and new, however while driving in Brisbane I encountered many hills/slopes. This model of car would hesitate and lack the drive power to start off on these hills. Once the car automatically switched to the next gear the power would kick in and the car worked accordingly. Again this is nothing toward the company and strictly toward the car model.

Cons: Long waiting time for the shuttle bus. Nearly missed our flight on the way back. The car was not fully fuel filled when we picked up. The right rear tyre was found low pressure when we were on the way to join a wedding party, spent some time to fill up, almost missed the start of the wedding ceremony which was the main purpose for the trip.

Cons: There was a few things about the car that we believe needs attention: The headlights seem to be in need of adjusting as they were not that helpful at night. The remote lock/unlock did not work all the time near the end of trip and so we think the batteries need changing. The ignition was not working as well as it could be and may need some attention. It was often sticking for us.
