Pros: While it wasn't the car that wS advertised it did have modern IT.

Cons: We had to drive through a terrible storm but it was nothing compared to the horror of checking the tyre pressures on arrival. FLHS 47, FRHS 18, RLHS 15 and RRHS 12 all at PSI. After putting 34 around I checked 2 days later and they we unchanged. That is so appalling considering the storm we gad to drive through. If I had to break suddenly I'd shudder to think where we would end up.

Pros: i love the fact that the rental is available from the airport - no need to rely on shuttles, and obviously perfect for returning to the airport as well. the car was perfect for what we needed. the representative was waiting for us on our arrival and he gave very clear instructions about the car and return. gr8 service.

Cons: My only gripe is the time it is taking to get our bond returned (minus tolls). I would of thought it would take less than a week to sort out. It has now been 7 working days.

Pros: Rep was waiting on arrival, took me to the car which was very close by. A seamless collection and drop off procedure.

Cons: I didn't like the $5 flat fee for Brisbane toll roads. Most tolls I went through were less than half of that. Abaa made more money than the Toll operator. I have used other companies hire cars in Brisbane before and was able to have the tolls charged directly by the Toll Operator to my credit card, so I wasn't overcharged. Inspecting the car on collection by torchlight at night, it was impossible to see the many pre-existing small dents on the bonnet and roof which I suspect were hail damage.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 85 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be charged on the renter's credit card through the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

A local renter is defined as a renter who lives within 100 km of the pickup location and who is not flying into town with a return ticket.
For local customers, the Security Deposit amount ranges from 1000 AUD to 3000 AUD.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Local Visa Debit card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, local MasterCard debit card. Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

American Express is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

It is allowed to add up to 3 additional drivers.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days. If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
