Jucy at Brisbane Airport

Pros: Not much.

Cons: The car was not ready so we wasted an hour waiting. The car was crappy and we should have been offered an upgrade even if I had to pay more. It had 430000 km on it. Banged up and dented.

Pros: Their shuttle driver did not show up to work when we arrived in Brisbane, so they told us to get an Uber and they would reimburse us, which they did. When we dropped the car off in Sydney, we waited a long time for the shuttle, which never came. Eventually a female employee jumped into a car and drove us to the airport, just in time to make our flight. She saved us!

Pros: Friendly staff at both pickup and drop off

Cons: We were charged for not refuelling when the gauge does not ever hit Full.

Pros: Car was adequate and reasonably priced

Cons: The car had multiple panels with some sort of body damage, but the inside was clean and tidy

Cons: No pick up at Brisbane airport got a taxi to depot reimbursed easy enough. A lot of time wasting

Cons: Could not pick up it earlier than planned. Had to wait a few hours before I get my car.

Pros: Only issue with pick up was a large queue at the time, which is nothing to do with the staffing at the time, just our timing. Staff at both sides were very friendly and efficient. Car was in good condition, with only a couple of scrapes noticed during pickup. Shuttle back to Sydney airport was easy as.... Great work all round. Would recommend and we will use the service again 👍

Pros: Not much but once we actually got to their rental depot it was quick and easy

Cons: As previously stated waiting 1 1/2 hrs with 3 follow up phone calls for shuttle pick up was unacceptable. We were not even offered apology!!!!

Cons: We rang BNE JUCY (after a 3am NZ start) to be told there was no one to pick us up, so we had to taxi to the yard, we waited in a long queue to arrange our booking to then be told it wasn't ready, to then be told our drop-off location would be shut the following week. The car felt like it was going to fall apart, it was not cleaned properly. The whole thing was terrible.

Cons: No notification of being closed when car dropped off. Few issues with car - Bonnet popping open every journey and right side passenger door not shutting properly due to rubber lining coming away

Pros: Clear instructions. Easy to find and the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Leaving the car without handing the keys back over, leaving them on the desk for anyone to take and not having the confirmation everything was ok with the car.

Cons: The car broke down and had over 328,000km on the odometer how could you possibly think it would be reliable for a hire car?

Cons: The car was not in great shape. No power on uphills, dangerously slow. Shaking steering wheel, wheels probably need alignment. Plastic in the car interior, especially the steering wheel, is sticky, heat damaged. The rental cost is high for the quality of the car.

Cons: Whilst the car got me to where I needed to be without physically breaking down, there were so many problems with the car I am actually amazed they consider it road worthy. Old car, very high number of km on clock.

Cons: I would have liked to know that I was getting a car that was 4/5 years old with 300km on the clock and it was super basic in terms of equipment. Only when I picked it up did I realise why it was so cheap - doesn't mean I'd have gone elsewhere but as a customer, I'd like as much relevant information as possible before I decide who to use.

Cons: Vehicle was filthy and run down. Calling them for a shuttle was impossible so we ended up taking an Uber.

Cons: The car had done 395000km and whilst it didn't let us down it was far from being a car that I would be proud to be seen in. Every panel was either slightly scratched or scuffed or marked. When it rained the trunk filled with water which had been going on for a long time as the tools were rusty. I removed the drain plug so that it didn't stay wet. All in all I think I might rent something better next time

Cons: At Brisbane Airport we could not reach them by phone and had to get a cab to their outlet. Jucy did refund the can fare.

Cons: I will ensure I proactively dissuade family, friends and colleagues from using JUCY and Discover Cars. Both proved unreliable, unrepentant, dishonest brokers charging me for a service they failed to provide and blaming me for their failure. A master class in rock bottom customer service and business ethics.

Cons: When phoned from airport at 11:00am automated voice said it was out of business hours, really. When I eventually got through I was told there was no shuttle driver so get a taxi, they did refund the cost.

Cons: The car wasn't cleaned properly before giving it to us. Also the damage report wasn't done before we took the car. You need to check the car over before signing the agreement.

Cons: The outrageous service charges for so-called "infringements" made after the car hire period. Also the very high charge for an old car which had done over 200,000 km. These in turn impacted the value for money aspect .

Pros: A great crew in Brisbane - Very friendly and helpful staff. They did what they needed to do and did it well.

Cons: The guys were very busy and were stretched to get to serve us, but It wasn't their fault as they were run off their feet, but still got the job done.

Cons: I paid for the top insurance but still needed a $3000 bond that takes a week to be sent back, they gave me a condition report of car when I picked up and asked me to sign, I said no I will look at the vehicle first, there were over 20 damages that were not listed. The top insurance doesn’t cover roof damage for example if it hailed I wasn’t covered. I have never had a car rental agreement so ridiculous in my life and if I hadn’t have checked the car over before taking it and ammended condition

Pros: Excellent first staff member when picking up car, unfortunately the agent that dealt with us when dropping off, did not even bother to give eye contact. Chris the mini bus driver was cheerful, helpful, and a credit to the Company.

Pros: When we had flight delays they were accommodating in letting us drop off at a different branch, which meant instead of having to go up the coast when planned (but then didn't have to), we could drop it off in GC and continue with family... this was really appreciated - thank you!!

Pros: The Service was good and the sisters were very pleasant and friendly.

Cons: We paid $3000 for the Rental for 3 weeks but then found out we were paying another $3000/$5000 if we had an accident in it. We missed reading the small print which should actually be larger print and then there would be no big surprises or shocks.

Were not willing to wait just a little bit so I could pick up the car, I had to miss out on a day's worth of car hire as they were not willing to wait 15-20 mins for me to get from the airport. I also had to pay for two taxis to get to/from Jucy. Despite having full insurance, apparently I am still not covered for my loss via discovercars. So I will not be recommending Jucy or Discovercars. The manager seemed rude/bullying to his staff when I got there.

Cons: I choose Discover Cars/Jucy because the one-way car had the lowest price. With that price, I didn't expect a new or near new car. However, the car I got, which was Toyota Corolla, had 416K kilometers on the odometer. I couldn't imagine a car rental company would put a such old car into a customer's hand. It's not safe! I didn't notice this until I already drove far from the rental company. There was no way I could ask for a different car. I felt lucky that the car didn't broke.

Pros: Nothing The shuttle to collect us was an hour and quarter late. Phoned them 3 times . Person in phoned rude unhelpful. The car we were given front bonnet couldn’t shut properly, when starting car the belt would scream.

Cons: We were not told to return car fill .we had trouble finding petrol station so decided to jet juicy fill and pay a premium . Told not allowed once we got back so had to drive round find petrol station. When returning keys they did not even want to check the car with us. Extremely rude guy.

Cons: Upon returning the car, we filled up with fuel as we approached Brisbane the fuel indicator was on full. Virgin Australia unexpectedly brought our flight time an hour early so we were rushed for time (out of our control) and filled up with fuel before we hit the busy streets of Brisbane. When we returned the car they said it wasn't full and then they refused to shuttle us to the airport as per our agreement. We paid $18 for an uber and were excessive charged for fuel and fees totalling $63.
