Pros: The staff at desk was absolutely unhelpful like he was determined to cause problems for us. Even though we checked online in the morning, he said he didnt have any information about us. Made us travel from international airport to domestic airport, overcharged us, and gave us a smaller car than booked. Overall never taking thrifty again.

Cons: Its surprising how hertz have such good service while thrifty did not. I am guessing its always the wmployees who makr or break the reputation. Pros: They didn't have any information on the booking insurance from discover cars. So they tried to get us to pay for this again! Lucky I checked with discover cars directly. Car was good and ready to l when needed. Easy access at Brisbane airport.

Cons: Reception staff were not so knowledgeable about the booking. If I booked directly with Thrifty i would have paid $1600 for the same car plus insurance, instead paid $600 through Discover Cars.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications, State Tax, Surcharges.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Accident Administration fee, Premium Location surcharge, VAT, Recovery Fee, Airport Surcharge.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.

Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: 2 proofs of home address (e.g. Utility bill), that is valid for at least 3 months before the pick up date.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 29 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
