Will follow up on this. No receipt or account breakdown after returning car. Overall the car hire was the worst part of our trip, sadly.

I asked the agent if he can do anything for that and he said he can just add some extra service for my next visit which I don't need... Cons: We rang to explain our flight was delayed and we would be getting in late and expected ETA was after the last pickup. Not once we're we told that we wouldn't be able to get a shuttle to get our car. We rang the number told and it said a shuttle would be sent in 3-5 mins and it never turned up. When we complained about it the next morning they said you should of checked the web page. What about giving that information when booking or better yet in the information they send out.

Cons: Everything was fine, but the only thing for me was having the Simba Car Rental logo on the side of the vehicle. This was the first time I had a rental which exhibited the name of the company. Works have liked it to have no signage. Otherwise awesome.

Pros: We recently used Simba Car Hire more than once in Australia and at both locations staff were excellent. Since our hotel for the night was close to the drop off point, they even offered to take us there rather than to the airport. It was very much appreciated the flexibility shown.

The instructions for pickup were clear however the downside being that Simba does not have a booth like the other big rental car places so takes a bit longer to actually get your vehicle but that wasn’t a problem for us, the prompts to order a shuttle was too easy!

Pros: The price was a lot cheaper than any other company. We had a two week car hire at half the price of any other company. The car was very new and modern. Quick pick up from the airport. Good staff and communication with no issues.

Cons: The car we rented was a seven seater but two if the seats were pull up ones in the back. It was very cramped for my teenage boys to fit. We panicked a bit at the pick up as we only just managed to fit the luggage in and that was because there was six of us. Seven adults and their luggage would never fit. It should be advertised as a 5 seater for adults and two seater for children. The two that had to sit in the back were very squished up and uncomfortable on long journeys.

I had to fill a form for this naming an accident that never happened. Supposingly this normal wear and tear issue will cost me some money that I will request from you because I have paid full insurance with you. Still waiting for an answer.

I was hesitant getting the shuttle from the airport thinking it would be more inconvenient but I was wrong, it was actually easier especially if you have luggage. The shuttle team were extremely helpful loading our luggage, on arrival our driver even loaded our bags into our hire car for us. This was above and beyond my expectations. The car was immaculate.

Cons: Off airport location so need to allow extra time to get shuttle bus to and from airport to where car is located. Also the way the $500 bond is charged but not refunded promptly after car is returned is a bit rich. I am still waiting for the refund 4 days later. Admittedly, the agreement did say it will take up to 3 weeks to refund the deposit....but why 3 weeks, they took the payment instantly, surely in this day and age the refund can be returned just as quick.
