Alpha car hire at Brisbane Airport

Pros: Good pickup and check in.

Cons: Drop off and wait for shuttle took about 45 minutes.

Cons: $1000 dollar bond and potential $5000 dollar excess should be criminal. More than double the cost to reduce that. Thankfully I didn’t need it but will never use alpha car hire again. The car was not properly cleaned and the wiper blades were completely finished.

Pros: The car was all ready to go and the client booking me in at pick up was informative and courteous.

Cons: The brakes on the car seemed like they weee on the way out. Had to be a bit more cautious when driving.

Pros: Alpha was amazing. Lovely staff, quick shuttle and best of all the people mover was late model, very spacious and so reasonably priced!

Cons: The vehicle needs a little step to help people get in as step up too high. Had to literally hoist my mum in by pushing her up with bottom!

Pros: It's located away from the airport, however the shuttles are quick and you pay for what you get. Good pricing, good service. If you want to pick up the car from the airport, pay the extra money!!

Cons: The shuttle TO the airport from the car drop off was very late. They said it’s every 15 minutes but we waited 50 minutes. Some clients were very stressed. I lucky left extra time and I’m lucky I did because the return shuttle wasn’t great

Pros: Staff were knowledgeable and car was brand new and fuel efficient.

Cons: I booked my insurance third party without realising and had to pay alpha to avoid huge financial inconvenience in the event of an accident. That was my fault, lesson learned.

Pros: Alpha car rental is only seeking overseas customers whom charge them a hell of alot less then there own community so crazy Clarke's was able to assist me walked in was treated amazing from staff and was impressed with there efficiency and remarkable customer care 10 out of 10 to crazy Clarke's

Cons: That even though paying insurance they wanted to hold a bond of 2500 also because I was a local renter whom had rented of them few months earlier and returned vehicle in impeccable condition that was told they have more chance of someone local stealing the vehicle then a visitor from overseas bad business and obviously they don't do the proper id and paperwork .

Pros: It is easy to get ahold of a representative on the phone.

Cons: I have yet to receive my final invoice. It has been over 72 hours.

Pros: Give me a car that was defective and on top of that we had problems and they denying the problems and I end up getting a blowout with the car and I had to wait half a day for the towing and then to fix the tire and I wasted my time but this car end up costing much more expensive than if I would rent from another Car rental company like one of the majors

Cons: The wait for a shuttle to get us back to the airport for our flight was quite a bit longer than expected. Otherwise, the shuttle driver and everything else was great.

Cons: The person serving us was still in training, but no one to supervise him, he didn’t very knowing what he is doing, by the end it took almost one hour for us to pick up the car, but we have entered all our details online before we went there. This should only take 5 mins, by the the we were late to our trip to Gold Coast.

Pros: If we excluding the delay of the shuttle to pick us up from the airport everything else was easy and it take no time. I was able to fill all of my driving details upfront so there was no delay at the desk
