Alpha car hire at Brisbane Airport

Cons: The worst experience I have ever had with car hire!!! The service was exceptionally poor. After a longer than average wait for airport shuttle and enduring multiple stops before finally arriving at their office I received another 10min wait before being served. The MG3 I was provided with was dirty both inside and out. Exterior condition was terrible with multiple small marks and hail damage!

Cons: An old car with very high mileage, and they pressure you to pay for extra insurance without a clear explanation.

Pros: Our guy was decent, but the company policies were not.

Cons: I had to pay an extra 1000$ compared to the price on discovercars. The cars had several dents and rust stains. Seatbelt did not work on our first car.

Pros: Really easy to deal with, and really happy with the service of Alpha car hire from pickup to drop off. Something that isn’t mentioned at when booking the car i added the full cover insurance which is a third party insurance so you are still required by Aplha car hire to pay the excess fee if there is any insurance claim, which the third party insurance does reimburse, this isn’t mentioned clearly when adding it to your hire when making the booking. Over all happy with the hire & would use agai.

Cons: Their business closes at 8:45pm, no late hours service. So guests cannot pickup car if they land from 8:30pm onward

Cons: The shuttle TO the airport from the car drop off was very late. They said it’s every 15 minutes but we waited 50 minutes. Some clients were very stressed. I lucky left extra time and I’m lucky I did because the return shuttle wasn’t great

Cons: I booked my insurance third party without realising and had to pay alpha to avoid huge financial inconvenience in the event of an accident. That was my fault, lesson learned.

Pros: Alpha car rental is only seeking overseas customers whom charge them a hell of alot less then there own community so crazy Clarke's was able to assist me walked in was treated amazing from staff and was impressed with there efficiency and remarkable customer care 10 out of 10 to crazy Clarke's

Cons: That even though paying insurance they wanted to hold a bond of 2500 also because I was a local renter whom had rented of them few months earlier and returned vehicle in impeccable condition that was told they have more chance of someone local stealing the vehicle then a visitor from overseas bad business and obviously they don't do the proper id and paperwork .

Cons: I have yet to receive my final invoice. It has been over 72 hours.

Cons: The person serving us was still in training, but no one to supervise him, he didn’t very knowing what he is doing, by the end it took almost one hour for us to pick up the car, but we have entered all our details online before we went there. This should only take 5 mins, by the the we were late to our trip to Gold Coast.
