Big Boy Car Rentals at Brisbane Airport

Pros: Friendly and easy to use. Whilst in Brisbane we used Andrew’s Parking twice for internal trips.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: The car was old with hundred of thousand of kilometers. It has many dents.

Pros: easy

Cons: when I extended my rental period, the process of extending my insurance was unnecessareily convoluted

Cons: As I said slight mix up at airport but resolved quickly

Pros: So quick and efficient. Helpful staff. No waiting around for pick up and drop off. Great drivers. Would definitely use again.

Pros: Free shuttle from airport

Cons: Condition of vehicle

Cons: Unsafe car old car rude people

Pros: Nothing, they were awful from the get go.

Cons: They lied and told me I could amend my booking and return the car early if I needed to (which I had asked them about, prior to booking). When I rang them on the Friday to tell them I would need to return it a day early (dropping off on Monday rather than Tuesday), they gave me the run around. Referred me to a manager who never eventuated, then claimed to have no memory of the initial convo and referred me back to Discover to seek a refund because I ‘booked through them so go to them for your $’

Pros: Efficient & friendly.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: excellent value

Pros: After picking the car, it has been efficient and economic

Cons: They change twice the vehicle because of alarm about tires not enough inflated.

Cons: the wait time to pickup car was too long. we paid extra to cover any damages but had to go through a currant condition report & photos prior to driving off, fuel was not full in car prior.

Pros: Easy to follow instructions and support

Pros: Only we had to wait for a while to get picked up by shuttle at the airport

Pros: The cost and the fact it was a hybrid helped also

Cons: GPS unit meet cutting off

Pros: It was economical

Cons: The car was old and rough

Pros: I did not like anything about this company.

Cons: Car was dirty. They gave me the wrong car. They told me they had no other cars when they had several full size sedans on their lot. I had to waste my time and go back to change the car in the evening for a MID SIZE sedan when I paid for a FULL SIZE sedan. It was a waste of my time an I paid more money for a smaller car. I would like a refund for the amount I am owed for getting a smaller vehicle.

Pros: Good working shuttle, great staff and after hours pick up and drop off.

Cons: Their cars are ancient. At least 10-15 years old.

Pros: they will try to scam. you as much as possible, if you dont want them to steal money dont use them

Cons: they stole my money

Pros: Value for money and customer service

Cons: Pick up location not easy to find at the airpott

Pros: Yes they have an airport shuttle. Very good service

Pros: Easy

Cons: Didn’t understand why locals need to put down more of a deposit

Pros: The price was awesome and the service and location was great

Cons: Nothing really, it may have taken a while to actually get the car but there was only one person completing the rental service and she was awesome.

Pros: Fast and friendly . Older car was fine

Cons: Long wait as only one computer includes - incorrect information regarding bond cost and return duration & high insurance fees

Pros: Alarm for flat tyres was intermittently occurring.

Pros: Ease of shuttle bus to and from airport, car pick up was quick, can was old but no problems with it, drop off was quick

Pros: Bus drivers for pickup and drop off were very friendly and helpful

Cons: The fuel tank issue I mentioned above.

Pros: Very nice people and set up for off-site rental, very good car. 24hr Drop off.

Cons: The insurance does not cover damage from hail or storms. Or hitting an animal. All things that are completely not the fault of the driver. This area is known for storms, so it's an important factor.

Pros: the staff and airport transfer drivers very friendly

Cons: Cars were a bit tatty but good value for what we paid

Pros: Good service and friendly, helpful agents

Cons: Service was good, car wasn’t too clean.

Pros: Helpful staff. Good value for money.

Pros: convenient and fast

Cons: .

Pros: Unfortunately the rental did not take place as they refused to honour the terms of the sale so I was unable to find anything to like in those circumstances

Cons: I strongly advise avoiding Big Boy Rentals. My experience with them has been appalling and is now the subject of a formal ACCC complaint and pending civil action. Despite having already paid for full insurance coverage through the booking platform, Big Boy Rentals refused to recognise the insurance policy I had paid for, insisting that I either purchase their insurance or face a $5,000 excess. This is not just unethical — it appears to be misleading and deceptive conduct and a breach of Austral

Pros: Cheap as chips car hire

Cons: Car was definitely not cleaned before collection. Interior floor dirty and supermarket receipts in the console. Dashboard screens were dirty, and the fuel was not a full tank so was unsure how much to refuel before I returned the car. A bit dodgy.

Pros: excellent easy and staff very helpful

Cons: nothing

Pros: They charged me for tall I got own account and paid for it It’s so nasty from company I asking refrains plus invoice they payed and how they avoid I got invoice for a time off using a car

Cons: Please regain da money plastika fee off incorrect charges Plus fine to be unfair $50.00

Pros: Pick up and Drop off was fairly simple

Cons: Will hold judgement until I get my deposit back. Takes a long time to get it back which makes me wonder what "fees & charges" I will incur.

Pros: The car had very obvious damage on the passenger side front and side panel plus lots of small marks all over. The car needed a vacuum and possibly a steam clean of the carpet due to the smell

Cons: The staff at the pick up location were not knowledgable about my booking particularly in relation to the full cover purchased. This made me feel a bit nervous if anything happened fortunately we had a smooth trip and no issues with the car

Pros: Good value for money. Don't expect a perfect car!

Pros: Efficient & friendly

Cons: -

Cons: Manager wouldn't allow a refund when we were forced to return our car 4 days earlier due to the passenger seats worn out condition causing my wife to suffer from back pain.

Pros: Window tints again

Pros: Great little car, spotless and in good condition,, good value, friendly staff.

Pros: I was extremely disappointed with receiving an MG as my car. I specifically called and requested a Hyundai i model and that I did not want an MG and I was assured I’d have that upon collection. That was not the case, it had been hired out prior to my arrival. I was not happy about this and i later called the company requesting for a swap or even an upgrade, i was told the manager would call me back but i did not receive a call from anyone. I continued to drive the horrible MG for 8 more days.

Cons: This is what let down your companies service- care factor about my request was zero! Not very good service by half.

Pros: 24/7 service really had be intrigued in a good way, knowing i could get an early hour flight and still be able to hire or get a car.

Pros: The reception staff and the drivers were all really efficient and friendly and gave clear information.

Pros: They were nice and friendly. The customer service when we dropped off the car was confident, looked like she knew what she was doing and made the process easy.

Cons: Lack of communication between the customer service rep and the front desk people. Saying the car was ok even though the low pressure alert kept showing.
