Cons: That they tried to charge me as if I didn't fill up the vehicle when I even stopped by airport to top it up

Cons: There was no walk around the car with the rental agent to check for existing damage. When asking about a scuffed rim on returning the car the agent told us it was our responsibility to take photos and let them know of the existing damage.

Cons: Due to staffing issues both the international and domestic desks were unattended, with directions at each to go to the next desk - the domestic desk told us to go to the domestic car park
Pros: To enhance service levels perhaps ask client if they need assistance with becoming familiar with the car functions as new cars do have more complex computer systems these days.

Cons: The rental desk in the International Terminal was closed so I had to go to the Domestic Terminal to pick up the car. The desk in the Domestic Terminal was closed too! Only the office in the parking lot was open.

Cons: I have rented cars in different countries, representatives always do vehicle inspection with customer. But none here. We did it ourselves and obviously there are many scratches on the car which no one told us before we picked it up. And there was a towel left inside the car.

Cons: The hassle of having to go to domestic to pick the car up, and when we had our flight home we also dropped it off at domestic, before being told we could drop off at international. A whole hassle that could have been saved via communication. However staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t fault their service

Cons: Also, there is no phone number or contact information that I found on my reservation. Never again through a third party and definitely not again with DiscoverCars!
Pros: Very friendly staff. Now worries kind of attitude. Had us take pictures of the vehicle before driving so we could evidence any damage done by someone else... which there was. So far they were receptive of the photos we provided and we feel good.
Cons: No one was at the drop off because it was before hours so I can't be sure that they won't penalize me for the minor damages I noticed.
Pros: Discover Cars/ SIXT The collection booth was very conveniently located with the other big car hire companies at Brisbane Airport. Amna excelled expectations as she was super knowledgeable and swift with the paper work. She even appeared at the cars later making sure all customers were satisfied. She kindly upgraded up to a Hyundai Kona which was very modern and smart-looking with charging ports and LCD screen Radio.
Cons: We found the shocks of the Kona made for a bouncy ride in the backseat which was uncomfortable on the rural roads.

Pros: Easygoing, friendly staff with no hassles. Pick up and drop off was great! We had a tired, cranky 3 year old with us so the no hassle and quick pick up was greatly appreciated
Cons: Car seat hadn't been cleaned properly. The vehicle itself was good, but too much safety gear and time spent trying to control everything via a touchscreen. I found it distracting when I was trying to concentrate on the road. This is more an issue with the car than SIXT itself

Cons: We waited a long time at the desk beacause there was only one agent and customers behind us. We arrived at the airport at 6 pm and got out of the carpark at 8pm !!! The car was not very clean as we are used to but it was ok .It would have been great to pay online the car so we can pick up the key in a box when arriving and go straight to the carpark.

Cons: Absolutely shocking experience. Worst by far. I will never hire through sixt again. I travelled alone with 3 young children, my daughter is autistic. I chose this car solely on being able to collect from international. When we arrived there were no staff at the desk we had to wait to catch a shuttle which i needed to avoid with my autistic daughter. The pick up was so far away there were no trolleys at domestic terminal for my bags and 3 car seats and were late to our suprise party due to it
Pros: Nothing. They were rude when arriving, telling us why it wasn't their fault for us having to travel between terminals. They then told us that we'd voided our whole contract because we were travelling with boards on the roof using a roof rack setup that I have travelled the world with and never had a problem.

Cons: They don't offer their customer any flexibility. We booked for the pick-up at 5pm. While we arrived earlier at 4pm, if we pick up the car at 4pm, we'd have to return by 4pm on the returning date. And I was told if I return the car 2 mins over 4pm I'd be charged for another full day. Their next door competitor Hertz would give you 1 hour prior to the hiring start time and 1 hour after the hiring end time.
Cons: No-one at counter when flight arrived. By the time I left there were 4-5couples waiting.

Cons: My flight was delayed and I arrived at Brisbane airport at about 11:40pm. By the time I got to the SIXT collection area they were shut. I tried ringing them but no answer. I left a message that I would still like to collect the car the next morning. When I spoke to them next morning they had cancelled my booking and had no alternative cars available. Never use them again.

An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, booking voucher.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
The following payment methods are accepted: Diners, JCB, Visa Debit Card, MasterCard debit card, American Express Debit card.
When using the following payment method(s): debit card, the Security Deposit amount will double.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
Credit card must be valid after rental period for at least 30 days.
When using MasterCard, Visa, a 1.10 % surcharge on the total cost of extra equipment and services will apply. When using Diners, a 3.29 % surcharge on the total cost of extra equipment and services will apply.
When using American Express, JCB, a 3.00 % surcharge on the total cost of extra equipment and services will apply.
Cash, Cheques, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
It is forbidden to cross country borders.
Using a ferry is not allowed.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.
Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
