Moovers Mobility Lovers at Alicante Airport

Pros: On the face of it they are value for money. That is not the reality though as they have several unusual policies that are not only not standard for the industry but are hidden until it's too late. They also operate deliberately poor business processes at the cost of the customer.

Cons: They bring people in on cheap hire but make up revenue by dodgy policies. Fines for being 10-15mins late but they're not transparent about this. They've a limited number of cars so they need you back on time but they need to be open about that. Most worrying is they didn't update my drop off time despite telling me they had, so they knew I'd be late and get a fine. That's a scam and fraudulently extorting money. Then refused to give men a transfer.

Pros: Helped every step of the way

Cons: Nothing I did not like about Moovers

Pros: The friendly/helpful, caring, informative, professional and punctual actions of all staff/employee's!

Cons: Had no issues whatsoever apart from my sat nav not working and had issues trying to find the office based at Alicante Airport. Other than that all ok!

Pros: Friendly staff, fair price, brand new car

Cons: Only thing is staff wanting know what insurance you have or wanting to upgrade you. Understandable as it’s their job but didn’t force too much and let me continue without taking out additional insurance (just the excess cover)

Pros: Good quality of car, friendly staff, quick service. Pick-up & drop-off at airport went smooth.

Cons: They always try to add insurance, even though we already had insurance via Discover Cars.

Pros: The personal attention and helpfulness of the staff was a pleasure to deal with

Pros: The customer service was incredible. We overslept and were running late for our flight on our way home but the guys at Moovers did everything they could to help us make the flight.

Cons: The only thing that did affect my total experience was that I had to pay for a late opening fee but we were at the collection point before 23:00 but the driver wasn’t and he was 10 mins late so if he was on time I wouldn’t of had to pay the late fee. Disappointing.

Pros: Fast and brilliant service, had a problem on my end but the staff were very understanding and patient with me! Car was perfect little run around and did exactly what I need it for.

Cons: Additional insurance above the online insurance which was a waste of money

Pros: They were friendly , arrived to collect us at the airport terminal and prompt on delivery of the vehicle without the hard sell of extras.

Cons: Nothing . Would recommend this company and found the ratings a reliable source in the decision to hire from Moovers.

Pros: The meeting point to be taken to the off site car rental company was ok and reasonably quick turnaround.

Cons: They sorted me out with a rather bashed up Peugeot 208 which had loads of scratches, dents scuffed plastic alloy wheel covers. So much so that the lady checking the car out had to take 51 photos for proof of defects. It was dark in the parking lot at 11:30pm and the car was wet so I was reluctant with the choice. They then wanted me to pay an additional €75+ euros for insurance which eventually they let me decline as I had already paid extra insurance through discover card.com.

Cons: The airport signage is confusing, but is not their fault. I added the location to my sat nav.

Pros: Competitive prices and friendliness of staff

Cons: Long time waiting to be picked up from airport. Drivers also doing the admin for the hire cars. This is resulting in customers waiting to be picked up. We had to wait for ~ 45 minutes to be picked up. This was frustrating, as it only took us 20 minutes to clear airport from landing to getting to pick up point. This wait time will influence us booking with Movers again

Pros: Initially they gave us a car that would not fit all the cases in the car. I explained that I booked a car which would fit all the cases, they changed it to a Peugeot 2008. This was the car I initially ordered. It was no problem.

Cons: They really wanted me to take out their insurance. It was a bit hard sell. They emphasised that I would not be covered if I had an accident or broken down.

Cons: Poor service in trying to resolve payment, clearly short staffed and therefore caused some delays at pick up and drop off. Had to wait quite a while for the Transfer at Alicante to take me to the Rental Car.
