Our vehicles are delivered at our office next to the airport, located on CV 852 Road from the Airport to Torrellano, 03320, Elche. Included in your reservation, you have a complimentary shuttle service between the Airport and ClickRent facilities. To reach the meeting point for the free shuttle, follow these instructions: Upon arrival, take the lift or escalator to floor -2. Exit the terminal and walk straight to the last pedestrian crossing where you will see signs for stops 36-55. Turn right and walk to the end. You will find our courtesy bus at platforms 47-43.

Cons: My credit card was incorrectly refused for the insurance deposit waiver, so had to rebook it with debit card instead at much higher price. The card has 4 months left on the expiry after the end of the hire period (which is the minimum necessary) but the staff member at the ClickRent Alicante office insisted it needed to be 5 months. After 2 difficult and stressful hours ended up taking out a fresh booking with a debit card for the deposit instead, at a much higher rental price (€130 more).

Pros: The Cars are clean and new.

Cons: We had to pay extra (+162EUR) insurance, even though we had previously paid the entire rental and insurance (+63EUR) in advance. They said the DiscoverCars insurance is not cover everything. We didnt want to cause problems so we payed it. It was forced what we didnt like.

Pros: Efficient and good English speakers. Quick drop off.

Cons: Pushing to sell me extra insurance despite my having excess insurance cover from the UK. I held firm though and took video of all the nicks, and damage to the car before I even opened it and there was a lot. The diagram that Click and Rent had of the car damage was inaccurate and was e mailed to me only after I had left the site so, without a video and photos I'd have been unable to prove that the damages were not caused by me. I felt that they were trying to catch me out.

Pros: Speedy

Cons: Error. Free additional driver was not included at time of collection. Printer problems meant we had no paperwork which were to be emailed - didn't happen. I was not aware of the error until I chased up the missing email, it was corrected at that time. Could have easily become a problem should the "unrecorded driver" have been involved in an accident

Pros: The picking up of the car was quite poor. There were not enough staff available and had to wait quite a while before one became available. Also when we dropped the car off, we had to wait for the bus to return, which was not long , but then because there were not enough staff available again, he then started to deal with customers who were waiting for cars and customers who were returning cars. It took so long we walked back to the airport. We actually arrived there without even seeing the bus.

Cons: Quite a poor service provided by them. If there were enough staff available, then I think it would have been a much better service. Staff that we dealt were very good, which is a shame.

Pros: They were expecting us so everything was ready. Very quick service, good English. Emailed us with the damage that was already recognised on the car which was minimal but we could then check it. Released deposit on site. The shuttle was waiting for us both when we landed and when we dropped the car off. Was really good, would definitely recommend.

Cons: I can’t think of anything as I was so impressed.
