Take their recommendation on adding SUN PASS to your rental when in Florida, you really can't go a lot of places without a SUN PASS, you may think the daily cost is a little high but it was $2.53 just to get to my hotel/resort.

If intending to visit only one of Disney or Universal, staying onsite, with no other visits, then a car is not necessary. Otherwise an Uber is an option, but does not give you the freedoms of hiring a car. Parking at the theme parks is expensive ($25) at time of writing.

We had a Dodge Durango, with the navigation system of the car it isn’t necessary to rent a GPS or get a SIM card to use google maps or Waze. It is not necessary to book sunpass for tolls as tolls are easily seen, just bring coins and get in the correct lane
