SafeDrive Car Rentals at Brisbane Airport

Pros: nothing except the car was quite cheap to run

Cons: extremely poor communication , car was not working properly and they were unhappy about providing another one, access to the office was key coded and we did not receive the code to get in. says office manned from 7 to 11pm we waited 45 minutes banging on the door to get service, shuttle is with the car you hire so thats petrol at your cost, the driver wasnt overly welcoming, we will not use these people again.

Pros: Nothing. Do not recommend. Customer service doesn't exist.

Cons: No shuttle bus service. They use the hire car to pick you up. The time your hire car rental starts is the time they pick you up and no compensation given for time lost. Hour of operation 7am - 6p, went to drop the car off at 2pm in the afternoon no one was there, office was locked. Had to 'call the service desk' twice to return the car. Was advised to leave keys in unlocked car in an industrial area.

Pros: The staff are very polite and helpful. If we ask for assistance with anything they are only to happy to help us. We have used them a couple of times and will do so again in the future.

Pros: it was cheap

Cons: that you defiantly get what you pay for. I paid for extra insurance, was not aware that it didn't aline with the car rental place. Needs to be better explained. The cars are very cheap and not nice to drive feel every bump in the road, but once again its cheap for a reason.

Pros: Driver was friendly, car was cheap

Cons: Very uncomfortable arrival at rental place,scary. At drop off, no one in sight and had to find my own way to airport. Was told to take pics and leave keys in glovebox. Not great service

Pros: Overall the service was good, the car was of a good standard, the rental price was very good, the following up to address the drop off issues handled well

Cons: Car whilst not dirty, could have been cleaned a little more. Petrol should have been topped up to full, washer water should have been filled

Cons: Do not touch SafeDrive Car rentals. Worst ‘business’ I’ve ever dealt with

Pros: Waited over an hour for airport pick up. No drop off service

Cons: Read the score patronising staff I am probably not the first one someone like this can hurt your business big time. Service does not stop as soon as the customer has paid I would not like to have any kind of further contact with such attitude

Pros: The company was very helpful towards us and took time to answer our questions and were very pleasant

Pros: Friendly staff.

Cons: The car that picked us up had no identifying marks which was confusing. The car that picked us up was the car we hired. This meant we paid for the fuel which took us to and from the airport. Not a deal breaker but a little odd.

Pros: The car was fine but staff contact hopeless

Cons: From the beginning when we first tried to contact staff it was hopeless. After 40 mins of trying we gave up and decided to taxi to a pickup address we’d been sent the day before. The gates were 6ft plus high with no way for us to access the property. Eventually I had to climb the fence to get in. We got the car and it was fine. We rang someone when we were going to return the car and they said they would let them know. Again we arrived and the gates were shut. No one had passed on the message.

Cons: A traumatising experience for a young women. Felt so unsafe.

Cons: shortly after using the car, multiple warning lights appeared on the dashboard - an amber low tire pressure warning and a red low brake fluid warning. In addition, the vehicle had no windscreen washer fluid. When returning the vehicle, there were no staff present on-site, and no shuttle service available to take me to the airport. They told me to use uber. The overall service was terrible.

Cons: Poor customer service , car was making noise and brakes were reaching they didn’t replace car for us and also charged us a after hours fee as we arrived after 10:30 due to a plane delay , we have requested a receipt multiple times to claim back from travel insurance and no reply . Very poor customer service

Pros: No good. Trying to get my money back for the cancellation, still haven’t received & no clear communication on who actually is paying me the money back between the company’s

Pros: It was cheap.

Cons: The off airport site is 15 minutes from airport. It took the service 1hr to pick us up from airport. Even after several phone calls the service didn’t escalate the urgency of being late to funeral.

Cons: No shuttle from the airport at arrival. Later there came someone to pick us up. No shuttle to the airport on our way back. The office was closed and we took an uber.

Pros: Great service!!

Cons: Great value for money, the car was very clean and well kept.

Pros: Very lovely agent and I felt reassured renting from this company.

Cons: The price was very cheap but they were not flexible at all with pick up or drop off time, my flight did arrive a little earlier than expected so I was fine with the pick up taking time but I arrived earlier than my booked time to drop off my car and no staff were there and I was told to wait the hour or pay for an Uber which cost me $30

Pros: fast efficient service

Cons: Only thing I suggest is warning the customer about European cars and the fact that the indicators etc are on the opposite side.

Pros: The only reason that pickup was a little slow was Discover Cars’ agent did not describe the pick up Zone correctly. Her English was poor and therefore communication was not good. Not fault of Safe Drive hire who were excellent.

Cons: Didn't bother me, but some folks would think their facility is very basic.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be recommending to family and friends in the future. Next time I need to hire a car, I'll definitely be using these guys. Very reasonable prices and everything was quick and simple. 10/10
