After leaving the arrivals terminal, walk to the right along the building for about 50 metres until you reach the tour bus parking. The meeting point of our shuttle bus is located on the upper left side of the tour bus parking. The shuttle bus can be recognised by our Record go logos. The frequency of the bus is 10 to 15 minutes.

Pros: Ease of pickup

Cons: It wasn't made too clear on the importance of me taking pictures of the car before leaving their office. When dropping off the car any questions about the car condition was for me to prove with the pictures I took.

Pros: The dropp of speed was wery good.

Cons: There were problems wit pick up, we waited some meters further than we should (there was no written where to wait and no sign where to wait, so we were waiting 30 minuts till we hunted a Record go car some meters further where were other people getting in, where we at the end also fit, sitting 3 people on 2 seats.

Pros: In general, I like it.

Cons: There is a question regarding full coverage. Discovercars (DC) proposed and I took their daily full coverage. However, Recordgo did not look to DC full coverage, and proposed its own full coverage or 900 deposit for damage covering. So unclear why I had to take DC full coverage and what is the cooperation between DC and Recordgo for the full coverage service. If I would damage the car, how the damage is processed and how I responsible by my 900 deposit to Recordgo, and DC coverage would work?

Pros: Enpä oikeen mistään. Yksi mukava työntekijä siellä oli, kiitos hänelle.

Cons: Shuttle bussi ei todellakaan ollut siellä, missä sen olisi pitänyt olla. Etsin sitä lentokentällä 20min ja päädyin ottamaan toisen kyydin vuokrapaikalle. Otin itse autosta valokuvia, kun eivät esitelleet autoa minulla ja näyttäneet missä on vanhoja naarmuja. Valokuvasin myös ennen palautusta auton. Meidän samassa seurueessa ollut henkilö vuokrasi autonsa toisesta paikasta ja siellä olivat kiertäneet työntekijän kanssa auton yhdessä ennen ja jälkeen vuokrauksen, tämä on siinä firmassa käytäntö.

Pros: new car, drop-off

Cons: In T&C on discovercars there is no notification (explanation) the Record-go rental company do not take Revolut debit cards for security deposit charge. To pick-up the car at the desk at Rhodes airport they insisted to charge "the other" debit card instead of Revolut which I primarily use for security deposit charge in case of car rental. I've been not very pleased since to pick-up the card I've have to use my main bank card which I intentionaly don't use for security reasons.

Cons: Our flight arrived early, but there was no flexibility to take the car earlier unless I paid a lot of Euro to take Recoedgo’s insurance. Not what I needed as I already had insurance. So I had to take a taxi to the hotel and then back, spending extra 40 euro due to the lack of flexibility. Not happy.

Pros: Newer car, nicely cleaned. All personal was smiling and well spoken in English.

Cons: It took a looooong time to get the car on pickup - kept trying to sell us more insurances - at a price higher that the rental itself. As we received the car we soon discovered that the rear couldn’t be opened from the outside. We could either wait for another car that wasn’t ready/cleaned and even had another error or deal with the rear closed. We chose the last and asked for the compensation but none was given.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1400.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill).

Deposit and deductible policy

A separate fuel deposit is required when collecting the vehicle.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Younger driver fee.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Details are available from the rental company's reservation office.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up. At time of drop off, customers should return the vehicle with a full tank and be able to show the gas station receipt confirming they have filled the tank, in order for the fuel deposit to be refunded.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Greece.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 89 days.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
