Cons: They gave me a car that i do not see as equal to the one that I ordered and paid for. I originally choose a Peugeot 308 due to the size and space for 5 people in the car i ended up with a suzuki pamero and did not feel that i had been given the same standard of car.

Pros: The car itself was very clean, which we appreciated. Although it was not the exact model we had booked—and a bit smaller than we expected, which was inconvenient as we were traveling with a young child—it was still in good condition. The transfer from the airport to the rental location was quick and efficient, only about five minutes. Even if you need to get there yourself by taxi, the location is easy to find.

Cons: They tried to make us believe that we were not insured, even though we had already purchased full all-risk coverage. The staff member insisted that we had to pay an additional €200, while our policy clearly stated what we were covered for. On top of that, she was not very friendly and dismissed us with comments like “here is your key, but you have no insurance.” The vehicle inspection was rushed and not done properly, which left us with a very unprofessional impression.

Cons: Made up prices, that they lower when you refuse to pay. Pickup had zero organization after waiting for 3h we eneded up sitting in luggage space just to get there. Total mess.

Cons: the person at the airport told us to wait away from him and the driver would call our # out (he wrote it on a little piece of paper) but that didnt happen. the shuttle parked in the middle of the parking lot across the street and i had to approach the rep at the airport and he told us where to walk to load the shuttle. really strange. took a long time too

Pros: Very friendly stuff. They gave us Nissan pulsar, bigger car than we rented, but it turned out to have some malfunctions. The next day we went to report the issue and they immediately gave us Toyota Yaris. So everything was good. I recommend abbycar to future renters

The main "extra" was supposedly a fee for ensuring Abbycar's preferred rescue assist company was available if we needed them. I was prepared to take the risk and cover any extra cost if it occurred. I was not allowed to take the car without paying this extra surprise fee.

Making me pay twice the price « because my card was a DEBIT CARD », giving me a MICRA instead of the Peugeot 208 that I ordered online. The car was clearly old and crap. Cons: Worst possible service I have ever had - they were so rude and didn’t have a care in the World and non service whatsoever. I also tried to prolong the rent, first woman said 50€ extra per day, second woman said 65€ per day and though DiscoverCars it was half the price. Also they tried to convince me that we had no insurance on the car at all and wanted to sell be insurance for 350€ which I declined. In the end they didn’t manage to prolong the rent period.

Cons: Even though I paid for full insurance on your website when I booked the car, when I picked up the car from Abbycars, they said I didn't have insurance and wanted to charge me €175 for insurance. I showed them on the voucher that it said I had full insurance, but they still said that I did not have this insurance with them, but with you, and that I should pay for the insurance with them, otherwise they would deduct at least EUR 500 from my deposit for every little scratch that happened.

Pros: Everything was perfect with the exception that there were no clear instructions where to find agent/shuttle of ABBYCAR at the Rhodes airport. Then we had to wait about 40 minutes for the shuttle because there were many people waiting for it before us.

Even we decline a full coverage on site the person on desk was persistent and try to intimidate us with all kinds of situations that could happen where they have to get paid from us before we kan leave the car (up to 12.000 € and ask us if we were willing to take the risk). Weak engine, we had to drive with the second gear in mostly of uphills because other wise the car couldn’t make it to the top with higher gear

She cheated me and took signatures and 1500 EUR deposit before telling that they do not have the car I had booked. She also tried to sell extra insurance with 400 EUR something, when deposit would have been only 150e.Abbycar did not took any responsibility because I had paid for DiscoverCars online. She said that it is not their fault that they do not have my car available. I should contact DiscoverCars, she said.

Pros: The agency we were addressed for the drop off (drive rent a car) was excellent. We got a free upgrade on the car.

Also the drop off belonged to a different company (excellent service from this second company). At the pick up desk they insisted that I should buy an extra insurance (even if I had yours) and level of English is basic so communication was not easy.
