Centauro at Rhodes Airport

Pros: The pickup process was a bit confusing – it wasn’t clear where exactly to wait after landing, and there was no clear information about when the shuttle would arrive.

Cons: the car itself was new and very clean, the service was friendly and professional, and they returned us to the airport on time. Overall, they were honest and reliable.

Cons: The young man who picked us up from airport and then who we returned the car to was very rude and ignorant. Very unpleasant rude young man He was about 25 and had long hair.

Cons: I didn't like that after paying for full cover via the broker the rental agent scared us into thinking we weren't covered and that considerable expense would be incurred should an accident arise. I had been warned of this but a large deposit that I couldn't afford forced me into an unnecessary extra expense of Centauro insurance. Very sneaky.

Pros: The weather was unbearable, and we were stranded at the agency's office with no car and no hope of getting any assistance. Despite my desperate pleas for help, the agency's response was cold and indifferent. They heartlessly informed me that they couldn't offer any support whatsoever. I asked if they could cancel my reservation and provide a refund, but they refused. I suggested amending the reservation to change the driver to either my brother or my father, but they remained unyielding.

Cons: Their lack of compassion and unwillingness to help was truly overwhelming. It was not just the fact that we were left without a car, but the complete disregard for our situation that left us utterly devastated. Their inaction and indifference made an already distressing situation even worse. We were customers, paying for a service, and yet we were treated as if our well-being and comfort meant nothing to them.

Cons: I had arranged car insurance via discovercars.com but they offered me an insurance package for €175 which would cover their €300 charge if I put any scratches on the car. I thought this was bad value. Especially as there is already a €1100 hold on the car (which is fair). It appears to make ANY insurance claim - even for a scratch on the car - requires a police report from the local Greek police, which I understand is tricky enough to obtain. €175 insurance policy, for a 7 day €260 rental?

Pros: Scam, paid for car hire from the UK to find that the insurance wasn't fully comprehensive after all, so we never took the car.

Cons: Because they weren't transparent about insurance, wanted another 19 euros per day for insurance.

Pros: New car, less than 1000km, excellent condition.

Cons: Shuttle did not arrived, was needed to call them, which not so easy when you on roaming and hardly understand what need to press to reach the Rhodes office. Child seat was broken and they don't have another one for replacement.

Cons: Even we purchased fuul coverage trough discovercars in centauro we been scared that small scratch will cost 400€ if we need recovery 350€... And even we are fully covered for a scratch for example we would need to pay as we, customers would need a police report but police won't give that so centauro would charge us if that would be a case... I guess it's fine till nothing happens.
